What do you think?

Depends on the model. Older ones aren't really any worse than other cars from the same era, newer ones tend to be kinda overcomplicated to fucking impossible to work on.

Probably. But once you master them you can work on a broad selection of brands e.g. VW, Skoda, Seat and Bentleys

Thats why I have a local tuner shop take care of mine. If I had to go to a dealer I would never own an Audi or VW ever again

I looooove the look the A7 sedan and think the A5 and S5 coupes. Bold, simple, sweet ass cars.

The old SB5 or SR 5 or w/e, had a V8 that made a shitton of power in its day. Now they're scrapped, with low miles

Personally wouldn't own one because:
>poorfag
>Knows Audi's can be troublesome
>don't have a lot of tools
>don't have knowledge of German luxury cars
>>
I don't know about how hard they are to repair but I know how hard it is to bring about the need. They're bulletproof.

They're about average.
Some of them are a pain in the ass though. I remember working on one that had every single bolt made out of aluminum, so they were basically single use as the process of taking out a torqued down bolt would without fail strip the thing. That was annoying as shit.
>>14188147
That's a huge generalization and a pretty retarded one at that. They need just as much maintenance as any other car.

Up until the late 90s, if decently mainained, sure.
Nowadays not so much.

Consumer Reports actually has them as the third most reliable brand in 2015 after Lexus and Toyota. Even five years ago this was not the case. Terrible reputation for repair costs and reliability in the mid-2000s.

Had an S4 for 9 years. Never had a problem. Once I had to replace a coolant temp sensor and the coil packs...but the coil packs were free from AoA.

They pack shit in pretty tight and but its not too bad. Working on a 1990 200 quattro and just breaking those old bolts is near impossible for a manlet like me.
>>
>>14188179
Oh my fucking god im stuck halfway through a clutch replacement because only 3 front axle bolts didnt strip on the first attempt.
