>E-Class interior looks better than the S-Class one
Why would they do that
Fuck wood paneling.
Why does Mercedes still think it looks good, it looks fucking disgusting as fuck.
Get me carbon fiber or cover it in leather you fucks. This isn't 1920. I bet the person who puts wood paneling in cars has that really ugly cheap wood paneling that's actually a plastic and was really popular in the 90's and 80's.
It's impossible to make it look good.
At least make it ebony, fuck.
wood paneling looks awesome, shut the fuck up
back2-2fast2furius with you, kid. thats not a sports car, its a luxury car. also, youre not bound to the FUCKING WOOD PANELING you inbred dipshit, you can choose exactly what you want, even that retarded carbon bullshit. its just an option.
people like you disgust me. if you want carbon and boiracer bullshit, dont get a luxury sedan, get some 3 series BMW and shut up. you dont belong in a Benz.
Doubt that because here in Europe everyone think of Austrians as parade of bad taste and they know that so claiming to be Austrian when talking about aesthetics is really bad argument.
All that pig-disgusting brushed metal bullcrap and the cluttered interior. Mercedes has gone down the shitter since pic related.
Until the Facelift of the W210 in 1999, every Mercedes interior looked close like pic related. You could sit in a C-Class or S-Class or any Coupe, you always had that "welcome-home" feeling. Now its just a random cockpit you'd find in any jap shitbox.
>really ugly cheap wood paneling that's actually a plastic
Wrong, Mercedes always used real wood. But although you're a faggot, I tell you a joke
>Toyota engineers take great pains to make plastic look like real wood
>Mercedes Engineers take great pains to make real wood like plastic
Listen, Mr 18yo Miata driver. What you call awful ist a stringent line of style that didnt end with the launch party of a new model. What you call awful was basic philosophy for more than 30 years of Mercedes history. No matter how times changed, no matter how modern your Mercedes was, you'd always know where every switch was located.
I understand that you are obviously too dumb to understand that and rather have the carbon aggressive look. I'm sorry for you
I enjoy drinking the tears of wood paneling hating people like you.
Only being able to appeal to decrepit boomers who hate change and love the shit they put up with for 30 years because it's the only thing they understand is the opposite of timeless desu senpai.
> E-Class and C-Class are smaller identical looking versions of the S-Class.
as it should be
I'm not crying, I'm laughing at you and your lack of taste.
If tasteless aesthetic is what makes something timeless, that thing isn't worth jack shit anyways.
Doesn't have to be replaced with carbon fiber. Could be brushed aluminum, or literally anything else but disgusting wood paneling.
This so much.
It bugs me when people flip their shit because Mercedes made one Benz look like... another Benz!
It's called a design language. When you make every car in your lineup look like something completely different... well then you're Nissan.
The S-Class Coupe interior is the best mass-produced interior I think anyone has ever produced.
The minimalization of plastic is astounding. Literally every touchable surface inside is either leather, woodgrain (or lacquer) or brushed aluminum.
You can just tell its gonna look great ten years from now, and 20 years from now, and 30 years from now when its some 20yo kid's stanced shitbox with millions of dollars in repairs waiting in the wind.
W221 has a better looking interior than the W222
Look, I know it's not fashionable looking and I also think the new interior are looking alright and feel better to the touch, but:
- all marking are easy to read; note how you can easily read the markings on the blinker switch in >>14170685 while the wheel obstructs your view in newer models
- all switches can easily be indentified because they have been in the same position since the late 1960s and the markings on them are big enough and have clear contrast so you can comfortably read them without leaving driving position
- no shiny bits in the interior, sun won't be reflected
- gearshift can be operated without turning your eyes from the road or taking your right arm away from the armrest or fiddling awkwardly behind the wheel trying to not accidentally turn onthe wipers
- last but not least interior looks like it was designed by an engineer not like it was designed by pic related
>old is better
That just makes you pic related though.
Nope. But I'll give you another one. 006 Moss. W116 interior
I swear, my parent's 1970s bathroom has EXACTLY the same color
