We really do like high-powered americans here in Scandinavia atleast, its just that they haven't been sold here for a very very long time, and outside of Sweden (maybe also Finland, not sure) importing one is both troublesome both in price and actually getting them approved due to "safety, emissions and specs"

Any actual fun/large car is expensive as fuck here, and normal cars are decently expensive aswell... a VW Golf with the 150hp 2.0TDI and 4Motion will cost you something like $45 000

I was in the same boat as you OP, so I bought a ute.

Now all I do is stare at it in admiration and spend half my salary on maintenance and keeping it looming good.

It was either this or a house I'd have to pay for for the rest of my life. I made the right decision.
