Thoughts on Ford's cvt in the fiesta and focus and how Nissan and Honda are now using the same technology for their automatic vehicles? I've heard a lot of complaints about these fords having serious transmission problems. I actually just got a 2016 fiesta automatic and am wondering if I should return it as I still have a few days left to do so.

Return it. The only decent CVT is Hondas, but in general fuck CVTs. Its automakers cheaping out for lower overhead and a little more mpg. Get a manual or 6at+

I don't know what it is about these cars. I don't know how many of these are on the roads, but I have never driven and NOT seen about 6-7 of them while going through town (small town, population less than 25,000). The biggest assholes I know drive them. At first I thought it was a coincidence, but of the 7 people I know who own a blue Jeep Liberty, all of them are just the worst (kind of an exception of my one bud, but he's an asshole anyways). Is it the car that ruins the people? Did the people ruin this car? Does anybody else see a million of these fucking things?? Also, are there any cars you see all the time that just rub you the wrong way?

So I'm a noob. I don't know jack shit about car parts or restoration. All I know is that I get the oil and fluids checked regularly and take it in when the light comes on.
Anyway, I've recently come into possession of a '98 Cherokee, and I want to get it polished up and keep her running for as long as possible. I got the interior detailed today and I'm going to fix up the scratches in the next few weeks.
It's pretty barebones in terms of features (partially why I bought it). And I want to keep it looking slick through to the very end of its useful life. How do I not fuck it up?

It's retarded if you're actually drunk and you know it. However, if you're feeling up to it and know you can drive well enough, why not? The law is extremely hazy, its grey, not everyone maintains the same weight, levels of blood, and simply drunk tolerance levels. I strongly believe that bad laws are meant to be broken, and drunk driving laws for the most part are stupid retarded.

smell really good if in an older car,
looks better over time if taken care of,
does not stain like cloth,
attracts women,
are fashionable,
are more comfortable to sit in,
are easy to clean with a wipe and a vacuum .
no need to shampoo stains out of them,
make a car look and feel luxurious, even if it's in a shitbox.
leather wrapping is considered an art if done by hand
is the only seat material that could be used in a muscle car or bench seats without looking retarded
why would ANYBODY choose cloth over leather?
cloth: stains easily,
retains odors easily
looks ugly
looks cheap
picks up small particles like dust easier
the only pro they have compared to leather is they don't retain as much hest in the summer
