The first 2017 Colorado ZR2 reviews are just coming out
What does /o/ think of it?
Is IT the Raptor killer?
Why does it have to be so fucking ugly?
>>17228029
I was debating trading in my 16 trail boss for one the suspension they have in the ZR2's is pretty fantastic I loved the one I took for a test drive. I just cant get over how hideous the front looks

Worth the risk?
Hey /o/, I have a 2003 Dodge Stratus and after driving for a while, the check oil light comes on only when I'm idling. I got this forum thread when I googled it:
https://community.cartalk.com/t/very-low-oil-pressure-at-idle-when-hot/16403/17
I have had a leak in the oil pan replaced, the sender replaced, and I'm going to get a diagnostic run soon.
Do you guys have any ideas on what they should be looking for? I really don't want to think that the engine is worn like they said in the thread, as there's only 75,000 miles on the vehicle across an entire decade and it's been well maintained.
- I don't live in an area with very extreme weather
- the oil is the correct grade for the engine
- this problem has lasted through several oil changes
- I haven't noticed any problems with the vehicle's actual functioning, no funny smells or noises, but I'm not very attentive and don't know a lot about cars
I really can't lose this car.

I just had a muffler installed on my car, but when I reach ~80-100km/h the sound goes back to the way it normally was before I put the muffler on.
Is this normal? It's pretty loud up until I reach 80km/h
>>17227862
I'm pretty sure the sound is dependent on the RPMs and not the speed
>>17227862
You sure you're not getting wind noise that's drowning out the muffler?

Ask a Mercedes-Benz Tech anything.
No.
Why does it cost $5000 in labor to change oil?
What voltage is expected on pin 16 at connecter 410 on a 2013 E350
Help me out here /o/:
Should i get a:
> 2005 Civic LX for $3,500, with 125k miles
or
> 2004 Camry LE for $3,000, with 180k miles
The civic has a broken power window in rear seat, the interior is slightly worse, and there is a small rust spot by the wheel well
The camry has a broken power mirror, a crack in the windshield, some scratches on the hood, but has a moonroof and nicer interior.
other than that they look about the same
>>17227599
Post the interiors
Right now I'm saying Civic
Toyota
>>17227614
Any specific reason for the civic? Because 50k miles less?
i have a 98 audi a3 with 195/65/15 tires
i just ordered 2 new 195/55/15 that i plan to put on the front. i thought slightly smaller diameter wont be a problem but now im scared...
i regularly drive with 130-135km and take slight turns with 130...w.w.w.will i die?
>>17227321
Less rubber=less grip. Better to put the 65s in front and run bigger tires for the rear, you will understeer more also. So you may die but most situations theres no difference
Say goodbye to your transmission as you slowly rip it apart from running a smaller aspect ratio tire, even moreso if its a quattro
>>17227321
I work at a tire store.
You won't die but why would you do this? What wheels do you run?
thoughts on a used 370z?
good cars, they just have no rear visibility
Worse than a used Corvette in every way besides being Japanese
>>17227314
OP here... corvettes are terrible. I will never buy one.

Hey there /o/, I'm looking to buy a new (to me) commuter car to put about 300 miles a week on. Currently I'm thinking about a 2014-2016 Corolla, as the company I work for will provide $1500 towards my down payment if I get a car newer than five years old. Also, I would like to build my credit.
I test drove a Chevy Cruze, Ford Focus, Hyundai Elantra, and the aforementioned Corolla, and found that I MUCH preferred the Corolla, it simply felt like a more well put together vehicle, and came with a manual which was a plus because I would like to save gas as much as possible.
I'll admit, I'm a normie when it comes to cars, and my knowledge level is fairly low. With my parameters being newer than five years old, being fairly reliable and getting decent gas mileage, do you guys think I'm making the right choice?
Thanks for your advice.
It's not a bad choice, a rather safe one actually, but personally I feel that the other cars you drove, as well as a few more, would be better commuters. But if that's the car that makes you feel happiest, go for it.
Also, will you need the extra space of a corolla vs. something like the yaris/scion iA or honda fit?
>>17227054
Get a nice Mazda3 2014 or 2015.
They drive amazingly well and get great mileage.
>>17227446
the road noise and suspension firmness is slightly less comfortable than the other cars OP drove, but if fun is a priority than the mazda3 is the best one in that segment

I'm not sure what I expected but *fuck* that's expensive
that's for an akrapovic, the yoshimura is somehow $100 less expensive but still, $400 is a lot of money
Redpill me on the Prius. I feel like things will just start breaking down one after the other all of a sudden after a few years. How do they handle in the snow?
>>17226542
I don't think /pol/ will be able to tell me about cars.
>>17226533
Priuses are actually fairly decent economy cars. They're able to handle bad weather fairly well.
The only reason people don't like them is because Prius drivers have a reputation for being insufferable and holier-than-thou. And they also look hideous (the front of the new model looks like a video game asset that isn't rendering properly)
