Hey /o/, you ever been to the top?
>>17216346
Only once, and before i knew it i was back on the rocks.
>>17216346

Just listen, let me tell ya.
Hear what you're missin, shut up and listen.
Just changed to a diesel car - Golf 1.6TDI.
Immediately noticable is how the car pulls - the torque makes driving effortless, don't even have to touch the gas to pull away quickly in 1st or 2nd gear. The car feels faster, and the diesel engine note is more masculine than a whining revvy petrol. Plus I'm getting way higher mileage so saving on fuel.
Remind me why you fags hate diesel again?
>>17215973
>LITERALLY what is wrong with diesel?
its not gasoline
/o/ is full of bus riding bench riders that only care about 0-60 times and don't care about practicality
>>17215973
cuckdiesels need to go and stay go.
you are driving a glorified lawnmower.
>friendly reminder diesels were built around the idea of getting shit done, not for stacy's cruising car
This may seem like an odd question, but where does the water from the windshield wiper come from? Does it ever need to be refilled? I've had my car for about a year now and it still sprays.
>>17232603
Read your manual. You'll find the wiper fluid tank. You should probably refill it.
Did your buss pass expire?
>>17232603
> open hood
> windshield washer reservoir
> blue fluid at Wal-Mart goes in
> qtddtot next time
Will lincoln and cadillac ever return to their former glory (Chrysler definitely won't they're fucked)
>>17232290
Ford and GM would have to first
No, because if they make a luxury car focused on luxury and not sport(like the old ones are) people would shit all over them
Both companies have really solid lineups these days. I don't see any problem with them.
Our second match of the Spring Cup against /soc/ will take place in around 40 minutes, after the current /wg/-/y/ match is over.
Come and cheer for our team in the chat!
>what is the 4cc?
It's a virtual divegrass tournament played between the 4chan boards for fun and bragging rights.
It's played on PES17's coach mode (cpu vs cpu), so the outcomes are mostly random, but every team has one or more managers that decide the formation and tactics the team will use to try and affect the outcome in their favor. It's filled with hilarious situations.
Check this page for more details: https://implyingrigged.info/wiki/2017_4chan_Spring_Babby_Cup
Here's also the video of our previous match (skip to 2:12 for the actual action).

Can we just sit back and appreciate how dumb the Camaro looked in Transformers 4?
>>17231979
>Transformers 4
Jokes on you making it past the first one
>Can we just sit back and appreciate how dumb the transformer movies are PERIOD
>>17232009
>dumb
>make two billion dollars by putting together a special effects showcase that works in any market because theres no language barrier to giant fuckin robots
the movies are awful but they certainly aren't dumb
hey /o/, total noob here, first time actually posting here.i was wondering if i can find decent bmws in europe for a small price, 3 series and 5 series are rather popular and i would love to buy one of these but i'm a broke ass student so until i can save up i'll have to settle for some other cheap alternative. so what's a good underrated car that has good maneuvrability and that has a low fuel consumption and one that can take some damage. price range would be between 1000 and maybe 4000 euros at most.
I would say 3k civic but since you are a europoor a Renault Twingo
>>17231656
stop memeing man, twingos look like shit. there's cheaper and better cars than fucking twingos
Where in europe?
When you invest a couple grand into a grocery getter VW hatchback and you end up walking to school Mustang GTs and V8 Camaros on stock internals.

>comparing a fwd hatchback to bonafide sports cars
only a yank would call a gti a 'grocery getter'.
this is why nobody takes you seriously.
your car culture is laughable.
>>17231197
I've driven it, it's a grocery getter.
Pedal layout is shit there's no feel to anything, everything is numb and dry and unfun, just like german humor.
Only german companies that make fun cars are porche and as much as I hate them, bmw.
also t.europe.
If you want good FF just go get honda. They atleast make shit for the enthusiast instead of "normiewagons"
>live in a massive metro with an unrealistically inflated population of 9 million people (SF)
>live about a mile from work and you can get there in about 5 minutes
>have to move out of your house and now your commute is over 9 miles, out of one city (Berkeley), through an entire city (Oakland) and ends in a third city (Alameda)
>it somehow takes you 15 minutes to get to work
>avg ~36mph
>regularly top 90mph
>tfw
what's traffic like in your city /o/?
I live in LA but I go to work around 3pm so traffic isn't too bad. Takes about 25 minutes to get to work.
>>17231147

DICK REAL BIG
What is the best car for complete normies? Forget about performance or aesthetics for a minute. What car will get you from point a to point b, has virtually no maintenance, is reliable, relatively safe, gets good gas mileage, has enough passenger and cargo space to do normie activities, doesn't stick out in a crowd, and is relatively affordable.
My guess for the ultimate normie car would be the Camry, but I thought I'd ask the experts.
>>17230941
Golf
>>17230941
Subaru Forester, the office parking lot at my place of wageslavery is littered with them
>>17230941
Focus, fiesta are common where I live.
Recently redid the vacuum lines on my 04" Rx8 and it won't idle, just drops to 0 and stalls when you aren't giving it gas. Reset ECU? Other suggestions?
>>17230759
LS1 and an afternoon
>>17230759
reset ecu since its piss easy
>>17230759
Maybe check the throttle body? I had a similar problem and cleaning that out helped a lot
why is F-elon Musk allowed to keep getting away with this Tesla charade?
>>17230313
Oh look it's this thread again.
>>17230313
startup culture bullshit
He's not making cars, he's a venture capitalist. His job is to get money and pump it into a business and maybe it works out and maybe not. He's had a lucky streak and was always able to get more money.
>>17230318
what investors knowingly wait 5-6 years for their money to be returned tho? (Tesla 3 estimated ship dates)
Is there a way to hook my phone up to a 2003 Sunfire? Assuming there is no AUX input or a Cigar input?
idk maybe
>>17230004
Is your pic related your car radio setup?
>>17230035
It looks kinda like that, no holes anywhere.
I don't wanna pop in CDs like a fuckin' barbarian but then again I also don't wanna rip it out and solder on a new asshole. Any pros here?
