I tired to put air in my tires like I normally do every two weeks but my rear driver side tire would not take any air. Thought it may just be the pump so I went to two other stations with no luck. Then I thought it was the valve so I took it to a shop. Shop guy checks for a valve leak but said there was none. Watched him but in air with his pump no problem. Go back to a gas station and get the same problem.
Why would this happen since I'm just doing what I always do?
>>17248191
Could be shitty nozzle on the pump. Did it work on your other tires?
Also, another tire related question, I had pic related balanced at an actual shop, but they shake going down the road. Car feels like it's jumping up and down around 30 MPH, vibration gets less but is still there at higher speeds. Anyone have any guesses why?
>>17248955
Either go to another shop and have them rebalanced, or start checking your suspension for wear.
>>17248191
Have a shop put new valve stems in if it worries you that much, it won't cost that much.
>>17248984
So having two sets of weights on opposite sides of the rims is fine? I figured that was what fucked it up, I've only ever seen weights in one spot to balance a wheel before....
The car itself has about 12,000 miles on it, and rides fine on the factory rims and tires.
Is hyundai the only ones that make a good automatic these days? Extremely smooth and reliable dual clutch
All jap cars are shitty cvts and American and European ones are fragile as can be
>>17247780
You're kidding right? Their sequential 6 speed auto is rock solid but there are tons of Santa Fes and Velosturds with the DCT sitting in Hyundai service yards across the US this very second
I heard good things about skymeme(slushbox) transmissions.

Mistakenly said Santa Fe when it's actually the Tuscon but whatever. Here's a link I found after 5 seconds of duck duck go-ing, countless other threads out there with similar issues. Wouldn't touch that 7 spd DCT with a thouand ft pole desu
I recently acquired a turbo that was stored wrong. There is sawdust and metal shavings within both the exhaust housing and on the turbine wheel. Do you guys think it would be possible to get it cleaned out by spraying it out with a air gun? Or do you think that this turbo would be much easier getting replaced.

dunk it in carb cleaner until all the shit's off.

Are these the ultimate rich normie cars?

Everyone local here buys an Audi a4/a5/a6 when they get money, or an Evoque
average normie would buy whatever the base lambo is
redneck would buy F-350 king ranch or some shit
nigger would buy a rolls/bentley
Currently looking at a couple new options for some car purchases. Figured I'd ask what combo you would take?
Combo A: 2017 Mustang GT (Spring & Summer) and a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (Fall and Winter).
Combo B: 2017 Mercedes AMG C43
Combo C: 2017 Mustang GT and your choice of a winter tuner or truck (let me know what you pick)
>no comfy Challenger option
>having a seperate winter car
>not putting snow tires on your summer daily and doing snow skids, or being perfectly stable in snow just by using less throttle
what kind of shitter are you
>>17246967
Probably c
Except I'd get a v6 for muh corners
And a focus that way i can shill ford year round. Jk i like the focus t seems to do the job just fine
>>17247057
>rust
I'd do the same thing though, just one car year round
>Searching local craigslist
>Click manual trans option to weed out the garbage
>Find car that looks promising, click add
>See interior shot, clearly an automatic
>See they listed it as manual
Really? Heres another one
>Looking at hondas
>Find what looks to be a clean older civic
>Text seller to ask what model it is, HF, DX, ex, Si, etcetera
>Texts back "I don't know"
>Looking for a roadmaster wagon
>Ask seller if it has the tow package
>Seller says he doesn't know
>Instead of going through the semi-difficult task of finding the options sticker and reading the codes, I ask if it has a mechanical fan or electric fans.
>If it has a mechanical fan, it has a big shroud that says "CAUTION FAN" pic related.
>If it has that, it has the tow package
>Seller acts like I'm speaking Greek.
>He asks what a "Shroud" is
One more
>After countless searching find the make and model car I want with the options I want
>Seller has it listed for $1
>Ask seller how much he wants for it
>They say "Make offer"
>Do market analysis of similar vehicles prices
>Use KBB, nada, and common sense
>Make reasonable offer
>Seller says "LOL NO WAY it's worth 4x that much I know what I got!"
My favorite is this however
>Find car for a normal price, click add
>Goes through a list of everything done or replaced or how good the car is
>The car doesn't run, just needs this one part that takes 5 minutes and 20 dollars to install
>"I don't have the time to do it"
>Car is still being sold for $3,000
>For a non-running POS.
Fuck craigslist.
>>17246956
Shit like this is why I only buy from dealers.
>>17246972
stealerships imho some folks actually know what they got like if they're the original owner
>>17246956
Just bought a roadmaster and man what a pain in the ass it is to find out if they have the tow package. The sellers had no idea so I ended up just getting the VINs and buying access to compnine for $5 to check them out.
Any fellow female car enthusiasts around?

Before cars had charcoal canisters built into them, what did auto manufacturers do? Just allow fuel vapours to build up in the gas tank until they reach a vapour-liquid equilibrium?
vented gas caps.
>>17249273
