Truck owners loved getting cucked
>paying for healthcare
Why do Amerifats love trucks so much? I get their utility benefits, but what the fuck does an average person haul in such quantities that he needs a vehicle the size of a school?

The AW11 is only liked on /o/ because it's the much cheaper alternative compared to favourite anime vehicle, the AE86. What other unpopular opinions are out there?
>>17256847
I thought that was the only reason people bought AW11's. You also have to remember that finding a running 80's sports car is kind of hard and there are plentiful of AW11's in running condition, probably because of Toyota's meme reliability and 4A-GE's are great durable engines.

The BRZ has plenty of power. I got a '15 manual and its my favorite car I've ever owned.
decatting a car or otherwise removing emissions equipment is retarded and you could do many better things to make a better-running car
unless your car is literally a mid-70s trashbox decatting is on par with getting a cold air intake

Is there a way to tell if a Mustang is the ecoboost or the 6 cylinder one just by looking at it?
Obviously a GT will have a GT or a 5.0 on it, but how can you know with the others?

Are these things any good?
ARe they like some sort of understated lightweight with lots of potential?
I drove about 5 feet with my parking brake on today. Is my car going to catch on fire or something?
>>17256249
Yeah. You should take it to a mechanic and tell them what you did
>mfw I've driven over 20km with my parking brake on once
Your brake pads are fucked. Not even trying to meme with you or anything, your brake pads are fucked. The force of the handbrake clamping down, with you driving any more than ~0 feet, means your calipers are destroyed, your discs warped, and your pads shredded. Just junk the car before you lose the ability to brake at highway speeds, before it's too late.

Bakuon is literally about cute girls riding/learning about motorcycles, drawn by a hentai artist, and features a genderswapped biker Stig.
Why do dropped trucks looks so sexy
Because you have an early American car aesthetic but it hasn't been legal to make giant heavy gas guzzling v8 rwd cards for forty years
i hate the square wheel wells.

I will never forget one September day on I-65 between Indianapolis and Chicago. Two of these motherfuckers did this for nearly 45 minutes and caused a back up miles long. People were trying to go around them on the shoulder. There was at least a few near accidents. Finally the cops got involved and were able to pull them over.
*Goes underneath them ala Fast and Furious in that one scene where they're doing the thing and they try to jack the truck but the truck is like no and then he shoots the guy and then O'Connor gets found out he's a cop and Dom is really upset and sad about it*
I don't think so, Tim.

i want to know if anyone has owned an elantra and could give me an idea how reliable/unreliable they are? i was thinking of getting a mid 00's model
I have an 05 elantra gt.
they work great and can take a lot of abuse up until about 150k. I never had any kind of "you need to do this every x miles" explanation about cars, and this was my first. So I went about 3 years without an oil change (granted I was putting maybe 5 miles on it a day during that time), four flats from tires going bald, still havent changed any of the fluids, and four years on the same brake pads, alignment has pretty much always been off, etc. I got it at just over 100k and my 150k milestone should happen this week or the next.
what finnally fucked it, was getting the timing belt changed. I had the shop do an oil change at the same time because why not. The drain plug wasnt put back on correctly and the engine siezed up the next day. ever since its been a new problem every month.
I should say that a transmition flush will run you ~$700 due to it apparently being weird and requiring the whole thing be dropped from the car. I know this because mine should have had one when I got the car at 100k, but didnt.
