we hanging out in the ghetto this time?
>>17228073
Who keep making these? This isn't /o/.
>>17228110
Nope, only the ghetto part with the friendly neighbors who don't care about us blasting Moonman.
why dont more working people buy vans?
it keeps your stuff dry and safe unlike if you load them in the back of your pickup. thoughts?
>>17285525
Trucks don't have a ceiling and they're more likely to have 4WD that's actually useful.
Not a problem and not a problem.
Only plumbers and pedophiles use vans (same group, really).
>>17285531
Except that all those fleet trim pickups are 2WD anyway, and the vast majority of construction sites don't require the ground clearance and 4WD capability of a pickup truck. Most of them are flat dirt. That's why Europe gets by just fine with vans and van based flatbeds.
If you were to buy one of these 2006 Impala's, what could you do with it? I was doing some reading and I think people are putting in some 400hp engines into these.
Are they compatible with a lot of stuff? I don't know much about this stuff, but I wanted a cheapish, normal looking vehicle that can fly.
Also if anyone can send me in the right direction to helpful links etc, please do!
Just get an SS.
300hp, 5.3 liter and 8 cylinders.
Should be able to find one easy well under 10 grand.
Swap in a big v8 and make you a sleeper from hell, stock exterior with a monster under the hood
>>17284867
I want to get quite a bit higher than 300. 350-400 preferably. Also the SS look isn't really my style.
Why are commercial vehicles so slow? Why can't they make them less slow? Like, if they made vans that accelerate as fast as a Ford Focus it'd be a huge improvement.
Why?

>Don't talk to me or my son, grandson, and great grandson ever again
vans are set up to haul, they sacrifice speed for that.
Because van drivers already drive around like cunts, we don't need to aid that.

HOW TO RIDE MOTORCYCLES
1. At the rise of the hand by Policeman, stop rapidly. Do not pass him by or otherwise disrespect him.
2. When a passenger of the foot, hooves in sight, tootle the horn trumpet melodiously at first. If he still obstacles your passage, tootle him with vigor and express by word of mouth, warning Hi, Hi.
3. Beware of the wandering horse that he shall not take fright as you pass him. Do not explode the exhaust box at him. Go smoothingly by.
4. Give big space to the festive dog that makes sport in roadway. Avoid entanglement of dog with wheel spokes.
5. Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon. Press the brake foot as you roll around the corner, and save the collapse and tie up.
Why is bmw no more stick shifts :(
>>17284019
Because there isn't much of a market for it anymore

Im in the market?

And you're worth keeping an entire division open for, why?
What mods do you think are most important/your favorite for increasing:
>horse power/torque
>handling
>aero
>sound
inb4 tires
Tires are the best mod to increase handling though.
>>17283990
Tires and suspension are the most important and best mods to do first/spend money on. It doesn't matter how much power or aero you have if you're suspension is fucked and your tires suck you're not going to see shit for gains.

Why would anyone buy a McLaren over a Lamborghini?
they look nicer
>>17283680
I know looks are kind of subjective, but you're just wrong.
>>17283705
Italy is trash and everyone knows it.
Slightly more exclusivity.
Claim to be higher class.
Need to pick up some aftermarket wheels. Looking for something budget friendly and durable. 5x114.3 19x8 and 19x9.5 are the sizes I need. Any recommendations?
ez
Not digging those. They look so bland.

fifteen52's?
So a few nights ago I took my first try at sleeping in a van and I have to say that it was pretty fucking uncomfortable.
Some observations:
It was only 50F outside but I was freezing my balls off still even with a sleeping bag.
It's NOISY in there. The walls of that van provide literally zero sound deadening or insulation from the outside.
>>17283452
Dude you got to build it out first.
Insulate , build a bed, and get a real sleeping bad.
I assume you had no mattress?
Thats probably why so cold
>>17283559

Seriously. You don't even have any shag carpet or a drinks globe

Alright /o/, I'm clearly doing something wrong. Sister just bought an 03 Honda Accord, V6 model, and her timing belt promptly exploded on the freeway. Her valves lived to tell the tale, and she replaced the whole TB kit, but developed problems just last week with power steering. I just replaced the pump for her today, then went to bleed the system as per normal- turn wheel to full lock back and forth. The wheel weighs about a thousand pounds, and after 30 minutes all I'm getting is foam in my reservoir. There is clearly a large air bubble somewhere... why can't I get it out?
<stock picture related
>>17283112
crv owner here, my timing belt went out like 3 months ago, also fine on valves but i pretty much spilled all my power steering fluid out on the driveway and had to replace it. supposedly honda uses "mineral oil" or something in their ps fluid which is different than what most manufacturers use. i probably read 100 forum posts saying that i need to use honda brand or autozone for honda brand fluid in it or my pump would melt a hole in the lines. normally i would listen since its such a low cost difference, but autozone was out of "honda" power steering fluid so i just put in random stuff and its been working fine.
realistically if its already passed inspection tell her to start working out
>>17283112
VTEC kicked in too hard
>>17283215
Yeah, I've heard their pumps have such tight tolerances that the ps fluid lubricates it and prevents it from melting itself. Seriously though, it's not just a touch heavy, it basically doesn't turn. Am I just being an idiot for doing this on a hill, maybe?
