It seems most cops in North America have adopted the Ford Fusion/Taurus and Dodge Charger/Challenger as replacements for the Crown Vic. Considering those cars are complete shit, what would've been a better choice?
Bentayga.

Keeping the Crown Vics.

tfw fell for the c4 meme
>>17278740
C4s aren't half bad. I just feel like you can get a better vaporwave car that will perform just as good. I would assume Camaros and mustangs could go just as fast for a cheaper price.
>>17278740
c4s are goat.

It is what it is. I'm a former miata driver, so a roadster was a must for me.
LT1, 6 speed, 76k miles, almost immaculate save for some cracks in the leather seats. $7500. I sure hope I haven't lost the plot...
>This movie got me into cars.
Roast my shit up /o/...
EJECTO SEATO, CUZ

Why would I roast you? For years, I loved that movie mainly for the pink Honda S2000
And it was Herbie that got me into cars.

Hello /o/, i have the opportunity to buy a 2002 GMC Yukon XL Denali for $1000. It has 210,000 miles and the major issue is that it needs a new transfer case. I did research online and came to the conclusion that it might need a new transfer case. I did source a used one for $350 but do you think that it's more trouble than it's worth?
I do know how to work on these trucks since i own a 2000 Silverado myself but haven't done something major like this. Can i just unhook the front driveshaft from the case and drive it like it is? What are your thoughts /o/? Pic related.
>nb4 GM trucks are garbage
>>17290442
save your 1k and do something responsible with it.
Do it, Denalis are great trucks.
>>17290442
There is already a thread about buying cars that have repairs that exceed the value of the vehicle itself.

Why does everyone always signal so hard about drunk driving? I get it if you can't handle your booze, then you probably shouldn't drive. But I've been driving drunk every day for literally years now, and whenever I tell people they always freak out like I'm about to run their granny over or some shit.
Is it because our society is too much of a nanny state? Or is it because no one can handle their drink anymore?
>>17288830
fuck off OP, you're drunk
Because it's irresponsible, it does impede your driving ability whether you notice it or not and it doesn't matter if you make it home without incident 99 times out of 100 because the one time you run over a pedestrian will ruin your life and the lives of others. Just don't do it, it's not worth it at all.

You have two sons, what two cars do they have? I dream of having twin sons, then slowly restoring a Ford Maverick and a Chevy Nova with them.
whatever they can afford
if they buy American I will disown them tho
They don't have cars because I'm not please enough to have kids that can drive.
Ideally I'd get one a foxbody Capri and the other a foxbody Thunderbird

Hey guys. I'm looking for a first car and I love the angular look of the early 90s cars. I have the opportunity to buy a Celica from 93 at 2500$.
It has 170k miles and the owner claims to have new tires and battery in place for it.
It's stick shift.
Would this be a good vehicle for a starter?
Picture related (it should be the exact model)
Only if it has a 3SGE.
>>17287824
What is the 3SGE? i should add I'm not interested in racing or being fast
>>17287798
Celica convertables had a design flaw in the cloth of the convertible tops that made them have to be replaced all the time. My dads old girlfriend had one, it used to spit out staples from the cloth top. I would steer clear of any convertible car actually. Its just more to go wrong with and it makes you look like a super gay.
The phrase gets thrown around a lot, especially online, and a lot of people think that their car will become a classic in future if it's even slightly exclusive.
However, not all cars will become classics. I think pic related will be, it's one of the brands fastest selling sports coupés since the E-Type, and they're sweet to drive. Another example is the Golf R - it's got a cult following, and I think it's more desirable than the GTI line as it stands.
What cars do you think will be future classics in your countries market?
M4 is a future classic all the way unless youre a poorfag!
