Looks familiar sir
where is the fun in daily driving a performance car if you can't legally have too much fun in it?
>no going over the speed limit
>no excessive acceleration
>no taking fast turns
>no tires squealing
>no burnouts, even on your own property
>no "reckless driving" in general
also
>inb4 "take it to the track"
not all of us want to spend a whole day beating our engines to the brink of death, I just wanna have fun on my daily commute
>beating our engines to the brink of death
You clearly haven't been to a track before; that's not how it works. Are you not familiar with the concept of track prep and basic maintenance?
>wants to have fun
>cares about the law
lol yeah right
Go drive one and find out for yourself
Why don't you own a Prius /o/?

Why didn't the Viper sell well? It was comparable to a Corvette, without having to say you owned a Corvette like every other average joe.
It was literally the most expensive car to insure ever
>>17288278
People can't handle V10 masterrace
The Viper was made to be a successor to the AC Cobra. Manual only, very little in the way of safety equipment, fuckhuge N/A engine. It doesn't sell well to sandniggers or celebrities, and they are the ones who hold most of the supercar/really fast sportscar/whatever you want to call the Viper purchasing power.
Friendly reminder that germany thinks this is a coupe.
They also think this is "Vorsprung durch technik"

What's /o/s favorite cruising song?

Its like this song and this car were made for each other.

blasting vaporwave while high
I love driving at night in my 300zx tt with this playing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dx3_4BWHqLI
Very relaxing.
I don't know why I like it so much. What makes it good? I contacted put my ringer on it, but a lot people seem to like it. Can you tell when what it is that makes it good?

At the time the styling was far too soft and the wheels much too small. Now the styling fit in better and the large wheels complement it to modern eyes. He also went for monochrome look which also helped.
>put a fucking Excursion V10 in it
No, OP, that car is not good. Body looks sexy though, as it should with all the one-off work put into it.
for almost twice the price, is Royal Purple oil actually superior or it's just a meme?
Just asking /o/ option to consider will it worth spending money on, not for shitposting purpose.
>>17287895
The only reason I've ever bought it was becuase the gear oil I was needing, needed friction modifier to add to it and it had it in it already.
purple is a fag color
it's literally the same as Mobil1 oil, it's pricing is a joke and a meme
My car idles a bit rough, and bucks a bit on startup. There also seems to be a bit of hesitation when I push it hard, like when merging onto the highway. My mechanic has said that the timing and balance is fine, but he suspects that the injectors are a bit gummed up, and possibly the valves and other bits as well. He recommended running using Seafoam (or something similar) in the oil and gas, to help de-gunk the internals.
The car is a 2008 PT Cruiser, non-turbo. It's a 2.4L I4 engine, 108k miles.
Since the car isn't worth much and I plan on replacing it soon, my mechanic said it just wouldn't be worth the trouble of rebuilding the engine.
What are /o/'s experiences with Seafoam? Does it actually work or is it snake oil? If it does work, what do I need do do to help it? Italian tune-up?
I trust my mechanic and respect his opinion, but simply adding some liquid to my gas and oil doesn't seem like it would do much.
>>17287867
for ten bucks a pop, you could probably give it a go
>>17287867
yeah it works, but it's not a miracle cure all thing
don't expect much but it'll help until you replace the car
>>17287867
It's not snake oil, people have been using it for quite some time.
Even if you're planning on getting a new car, consider cleaning the old one. Even for that little increase in re-sell value.
What will the gascuck say now that it is cientifically proven that our friend Diesel can be cleaner?

Heresy
Absolutely amazing cars. Great fuel efficiency, fast, never breaks down.
The only drawback is how civilian it looks.

Looks like a coupe to me

Something was up with the rear suspension on these. Can't remember what. It's something to look into.
'Drag Meet IV when' edition
----
A thread for the British denizens of /o/.
Brit/o/ Garage: https://www.brit-o.co.uk/
----
Upcoming Brit/o/ Events:
Welsh Togue Run
What: Driving around in Wales I guess. Glancing fearfully over our shoulders in case Devil Will shows up.
Where: To be decided
When: June/July
Ultimate Street Car (USC)
What: A car show where loads of chavs show up and show off their Limited Edition Corsas and financed Golfs on airbags. Also drag-racing, live music, and poledancing.
Where: Santa Pod Raceway (Northamptonshire)
When: 4th-6th August 2017
----
Recent Happenings:
Drag Meet III happened, with a fairly healthy turnout of cars and autists (around 16/17 people in all; there were GIRLS too!). Fastest time of the meet was a nice guy in his M135i, which was also the fastest time ever at Shakespeare for Brit/o/, with an ET of 12.88, terminal speed of 108mph.
The guys also went out and about, with a meal at a Wagamamas, where one uncultured chav enjoyed his noodles in dishwater. Apparently there was also bullying of a french girl, and Shun got to drive a car for maybe the last time for a few years, RIP. We'll all be in autopilot Teslas and google cars by the time you see light again.
Pictorial and moving imagery will hopefully be posted in the thread soon.

Threads are a rarity as we mostly hang out in our own dedicated Slack chat. If you want in, just post up your email (it can be a throwaway), and you'll be invited in. We do actually discuss things of an automotive nature, don't fear. It's not all degeneracy.

Are you being paid to advertise Lincoln here? Or are you doing it ironically?
I just saw one of these for the first time and was like "why". Does Ford really think the Lincoln badge has the same associated prestige as Cadillac?
Motorcycles should have their own board. Motorcycle riders and car drivers are polar opposites. Most car drivers dont ride and dont understand or care that they are endangering riders by tailgateing and not using blinkers or checking blind spots.
The motorcycle board might be a little slow but there is other slower boards like /an/ & /ck/
There is always multiple motorcycle boards up in /o/ so a new motorcycle board would be active enough to justify its own board.
As a biker and a car enthusiast i am tired of Seeing how car only drivers have such a massive lack of respect for riders safety and right to ride on the roads too.
They shouldn't have their own board but they should be contained in /n/
I ride both a modern bike and drive a classic car
What am I?
I'm sorry normies have ruined your opinion of enthusiasts for some reason. Also please learn the difference between threads and boards.
who's in the wrong?
