I'm looking at used Mazda RX8's on carsales.com and not a single one I've found has reached 200,000 KM's or 124 thousand miles for you Amerilards, they are all sitting at either extremely low KM's or around 100,000 range where they begin to crap out. Is this true or am I dumb for considering an RX8?
well you're gonna need a $500 engine rebuild kit and you need to know how to get the engine out, open it up, replace the seals, stick it back together and put it back in.
RX8's are cheap for a good reason

Rotaries aren't shit
Late model Rx8's aren't shit
but people who initially bought Rx8's not knowing they are rotaries and not knowing how to properly take care of them are shit. (and those are a lot of people)
chances are the one you found is garbage.
You are better off with a First or Second gen Rx7
>>17308458
No OP, but There's a first gen RX-7 near me, I kind of want to buy it, but last I heard it needed a clutch (Came in to the shop I was at job shadowing for my senior project in HS), and I doubt the fat bitch that owns it has done anything to take care of it or the Rotary.
Part of me is tempted to get it, how hard is it to work on these things for someone with a bit of wrenching skill? I mean I doubt I do it I don't need a project on my plate right now, but I mean aside from the aformentioned issues, it's one of the straighter looking first gen's I've seen in awhile.
Audi cheats emissions on their diesels too!
https://m.phys.org/news/2017-06-audi-software-diesel-emissions.html
Diesels are filthy, inefficient, noxious things that only belong in tractors and trains. Why are they still allowed?
>>17308282
>Diesels are filthy, inefficient, noxious things that only belong in tractors and trains.
satire? diesel is more clean than gasoline
also trains use electric motors
Actually NOx emissions from diesel vehicles mitigate the greenhouse effect of CO2, so really by driving polluting diesels you're fighting global warming.
HOWEVER - NOx is also highly hazardous to our health in increased concentrations, so it should be encouraged in rural areas and banned in urban areas.

Cargo trains don't. In many countries not even passenger trains do.
Any of you bros use a dashcam?
>>17308179
Front and back in my dd
Front in my truck
Double helmet cams (swap n charge)
I have another dash cam for my rv but I realized last night is still in the box and I don't have time to do a proper wire tuck before I leave today.
Driving without video feels bad now, it's like driving without a seatbelt.
OH LOOK HERE IS ME DRIVING TO WORK OH LOOK HERE IS ME PARKING AT WORK OH LOOK HERE IS ME BUYING FOOD OH LOOK HERE I AM PICKING UP LADYBOYS ON THE CORNER

>>>/facebook/
What the fuck
can't wait until EV pickups catch up and can embarrass coal rollers at towing and stoplight races
>at least you don't own an Aztek
>>17307880
At least I don't have lung cancer
>american "design"
I'd rather have an Aztek than a Juke or current gen Cherokee
compared to them, it looks like a work of art
how would he even fit in there??
>>17307679
>1.50 for premium
Why tf he look like this niqqa?
Very easily, have you seen Clarkson get into cars? Niggas like 7'3 400 pounds
I put this sticker on my subaru wrx because the ladies love it.
Also sticker general.
/osg/ exists for a reason go post your car there, this is a pointless thread

Imagine a world where a r32 skyline is a shitbox. That world is reality.

I don't understand, are you the rare country liberal?

Get the k-swap asap to go seriously fast. Rev hard, drift safe.
>he thinks Californians are moving out of the state because the ocean is rising
It's because the liberal coastal states keep making fucking retarded laws.
What tools do you have?
First set?
Best brand?
Weird tools you can't live without?
Post em if you got em!
Also, I'm a mobile forklift tech, I have almost all snap-on stuff and a large bag I carry most of the tools I use commonly in.
I'm trying to find a set of carbon wrenches like pic related, but can't find shit on google outside of like tiny drone shit. Any ideas?
>>17306732
Get the k-swap asap.
Best brand is anything with a life time warranty that's cheap
>>17306738
I gotta agree. If you can replace it as many times as needed then there's infinite value there. Pic related is my chest
I need step by step instructions on how to perform a routine k-swap on my Honda Fit.
$500 and an afternoon
some guy did it on a 2nd gen fit, search for his build thread
>>17306654
step 1: Take engine out of Honda Fit
step 2: Put new engine into Honda Fit
step 3: ????
step 4: Profit!
It's been confirmed America won't be getting the i30 N. Another shitty day to be in America.

Who fucking cares, I'm more pissed that we won't see a Fiesta ST200 here.
>>17306456
We'll get the next-gen Veloster and whatever N version they make of that.
>>17306861
What? we have the 200 it's the regular ST just without the badges, although I'm pissed we couldn't get the 230 or 260
>Challenger R/T
>5.7L HEMI
>only 375HP
>in 2017
Seriously? I thought these things made at least 400, that's embarassing. The Camaro V6 has a better power:weight ratio and the Mustang GT gets 60 more horses with 700cc fewer.
>>17306339
The '11 V6 Mustang with the PP is as fast as an R/T Challenger. This isn't news.
hahahaha 375hp from 5.7L
hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
shame because challengers are the only cool modern muscle cars too.
Seems like someone is conveniently forgetting the 6.4 liter R/T
so which car is good for uber? going car shopping tomorrow and looking for something brand new (2017/18), and cheap 20k CAD.
needs to be comfy, 5 seats, great on gas, etc. what does /o/ say?
>>17306118
probably a hybrid
however, let other /o/tists reply, are you sure about getting in uber?
Also depreciation will hit you much harder that it would usually with a regular brand new car or with a used car bought for uber.
Buying a brand new car to Uber for has got to be the worst investment you could possibly make.
>brand new
>comfy
>20k syrupbux
Pick two.
Is there a mod to increase car mileage at high speeds? I have a 65hp shitbox and I like to drive somewhat fast, but I feel a bit guilty for wasting fuel.
