>V6
>same engine as Ford F150
>$500,000
name a bigger fucking meme..
>pro tip: you cant
>Will still sell every one they make
>Will be worth 1.2 million in 3 years time
>Ford now has a halo car that brings up the rest of the brand
Nobody cares what you think OP
>>17330510
are you a car enthusiast?
how can you fucking justify paying $500,000 for a car that has the same engine block as a Ford F150..
It's kind of like the new Lexus LFA, except instead of being defined by it's engine and being "meh" everywhere else, it's the exact opposite. Meh engine, everything else is pretty badass.
GOD DAMMIT CAN SOMEBODY REDPILL ME ON CARS
>be me
>like cars
>have money to buy nice car (have saved up like $8000)
>but no job to pay for taxes and shit
>too autistic to work to pay for taxes and insurance
JUST KILL ME PLEASE REDPILL ME ON CARS SO I DON'T WANT A CAR ANYMORE
Get the bus, this is an expensive hobby.
>>17330265
Well my country provides free busriding for students so that might be an option
>>17330274
if you dont live in america, and live basically anywhere else in the world (australia an exception), a car is somewhat non-essential..
Does any /o/tist have experience with buying a restored salvage title? Most places seem to say to stay away from them, but if I bring it to a mechanic and a body shop for a inspection and they pass, is that really all I need to do? It seems like you can get some deals on restored salvage titles.
>>17330208
2 problems:
>Resale value
> reliability and safety
You can bet the air bags are missing
>>17330338
This guy is right, at least about resale value. If it's on an old shit box, it literally doesn't even matter cause who gives a fuck about the resale of it. Also make sure you know the reasons for it being salvage. Let's say it was hail damage and it's not that bad - then it's whatever. Also you have to get it inspected by the highway patrol (at least in my state I did) and that's a huge pain in the ass to get done cause they are open very short windows of time, only during work hours, and are a bitch to get a hold of and set up an appt. Then they're also bitchy about the dumbest shit.
Salvage title just means be very thorough. Obviously stay away from buying anything that was in a severe crash or was in a flood.
Hell/o/, I'm learning to drive. I was wondering what is the technically correct thing to do here, when I back out of my drive way in the middle of a three way.
I'm in Canada if it matters.
>>17330035
The correct thing to do is to reverse onto the driveway, so you pull out forwards.
>>17330035
you back into your driveway and pull out

If I were you and the car was positioned like this and there was some traffic I'd drive on the lawn so the car would be positioned correctly
I am planning to buy an E30 BMW as my first car. What basic mods should I do.? I am not planning anything fancy yet (m40 to m20 swap will be later in life, hopefully), just basic mods that'll make my ride more enjoyable...
Bump. Also looking to get an e30. Are they good for DD?
>>17330006
There are some totally sick replacement parts in the OEM catalog that are identical to the ones on your car except nicer and newer.
I recommend a dope new OEM exhaust for more power, a rad set of OEM wheels and a less restrictive brand new OEM air filter to get you started bro.
>>17330014
the image is found from the internet... I am just planning to buy the same chassis...

Welcome the future lads
here comes the musk fanboy damage control
so much for muh smart crash avoidance self driving meme
goes to show if the average driver is a retard then all the tech in the world cant make a difference.
>The company says the Model S ended up being compared to a wide range of vehicles, including a "Volvo station wagon," making it an illegitimate comparison.
Tesla cars are safer than any other car in the world, and that is fact!
Except when it's being compared against even safer cars, then it doesn't count
Do all the Mazda MX-3 trim levels have TTL (twin trapezoidal link) - passive rear steer?
Looking to buy an MX-3, but all I can get locally is a 1.6... I have this suspicion that only V6s got the TTL.
Thanks for any info. Pic related, it's what I lusted after in high school, 15 years ago. Not something I'd do today...
>tfw my old friend back in 2006-2008 dumped money into a mx-3, use to drag race it

Fuel injection doesn't really affect us in Hawaii other than mpg, always warm, always at sea level
>>17329453
heyyy, that's pretty good.
here's mine, a 89 grand marquis
why would anyone replace a s54 with an ls
does this not fuck the concept of driving a BMW?
same with people who ls swap rx7 fd's
>>17329155
>why would anyone replace a s54 with an ls
Cheaper to make power, probably fits better desu, fuck changing that last spark plug that's under the lip on the firewall
Because the LS is cheaper, simpler, better made, produces more power and has a higher power ceiling.
German engineering is a meme that elitists bought hook line and sinker
How did Ford manage to go from an anticipated laggard company in the late 2000s to the GOAT car company it is now? They have so many good cars, and not just performance cars, but their family cars are great too. The Focus, the Fiesta, the Fusion, the F-150, the fucking Ford GT, every car they make is great.
I'd say their only real weakness is that their interiors are boring. There's no doubting the Focus RS and Mustang are great cars but even a VW Passat feels nicer to sit in.
They may very well be hitting their prime, now if only they could come up with a 2 seater ecoboost miata competitor
dunno bruh but they're about to go to shit now that the first good CEO they had in forever got kicked out because he wouldn't make a mememobile
You are visited by the car genie. He will give you any car you want but that car will be the only one you can drive for the rest of your life. Which car do you pick?

For the amount they cost you can have a better executive car (lexus) or a car that handles just as good or better for the money (camaro, probably lexus too).
