dont get a grom
I have a court date in late June for three tickets I received. I'm in Texas.
Speeding, disregard of a traffic control device, and driving without insurance. The total for these is over $700.
Coincidentally, I'm also in a bad financial situation at the moment, as I just lost my job. This was the first time I've ever even been pulled over by police, and I have a clean record.
I'd love to pay the tickets, but I have no savings and no income at the moment.
Can you br/o/s give me any advice on this matter?
A family member of a friend told me I should request a trail by jury, saying that I'd likely get deferred because setting up a whole jury costs more than my tickets.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
>>17336496
>no insurance
yea you are getting that ticket m8 because the judge is not gonna let that one go
>>17336501
That's disheartening to hear. Sadly, that ticket is the majority of the fine ($500 IIRC).
It's not really a coincidence you lost your job. You just sound like an idiot.
Fisker is back and teased their new car, the Fisker E-motion

Euro here. I'm looking for a reliable station wagon with good ride qualities to do some autobahn commuting (up to 500km weekly). Does not have to be super big, as long as I can easily transport stuff and it fits multiple people without them being cramped. Diesel with automatic is preferred, due to good mileage and smooth commuting properties.
I was thinking BMW 3 series touring (E91). However, I keep hearing lots of stories about high maintenance costs and engine issues. Not sure if these issues are common for the diesel engines. Budget is about €10k. Suggestions?
>>17344588
Fellow europoor here, get yourself a Passat B5.5 station wagon 1.9 TDI with an automatic if you can, those things are nearly indestructible and the only problem that these things have is the front wings tend to rust (easily changeable)
>>17344601
Currently own that car, but pre-facelift model, also TDI, manual. Still going strong, but looking to upgrade, due to environmental regulations.
>>17344610
You might want to consider something bigger, while the E91 rides like a boat, due to either awd or rwd the back will be a bit more cramped. Maybe something like a VW Caddy or a Opel Insignia station wagon is in order?
How retarded am I for buying a 13 year old Citroen?
>>17344509
Not really retarded, those things are pretty reliable and easy to mantain
>>17344509
Fuck off, you validation seeking pussy.
>>17344509
Pretty retarded since there are various far more reliable options, essentially anything japanese.
See if you can afford a Yaris or Honda Jazz.
Whats the silliest thing you bought for your car?
I just got some branded valve caps.
Nuxt up is a "sport" steering wheel and a fart can
I got bullet valve caps. They look incredibly silly in a fucking Ford Focus.

2011 Chevrolet Camaro 1LS
-3.6L V6
-Automatic
-87,xxx Miles
$10,995
First of all, is it worth it?
Second, can I daily this in a place that has winter if I wash it a lot during that period of time?
Third, good first car with 'some' horsepower?
Fourth, good platform to bolt-on/aftermarket parts?
Thank you in advance lads.
>>17343867
That's a shit deal, get a manual instead
>>17343880
This, or get a 350z because poorfag
>v6 auto
Have you looked at a non rental car model? 10 grand is manual firebird WS6 money.
I see people saying like 5-10 hp increase for a $4,000 exhaust system, is that really worth it?
you wont be able to utilize it without a tune. it does usually sound better but that is subjective
Depends on everything upstream of the exhaust.
Maybe you'll get 5hp up top between 6.5 and 7 but lose 10 between 2 and 6.5
It's more about the sound vs the performance gain. For performance you'd have to get headers to replace your exhaust manifold for real gains. But a cat back exhaust is a simple mod one can do with a wrench.
I wish they sold lift kits for lambos so you can get rid of the stance cuck ride heights.
so YOU were the guy they're trying to sell the Urus to
>>17343556
>those unshooped mirrors
Wtf
>>17343556
This is probably the best lambo ever.
Perfect for parking lot speed bumps and you can say you have a lambo.
>he doesn't own a ute
>his car can't go fast and carry stuff
>he doesn't own the most practical type of vehicle
Why don't more people drive these?
Because I don't smash VB's and beat my wife
Because most people aren't bogan scum
Cause you either make springs be able to carry 4-5 fat fucks and some gear as MAX GRVS or w/e, or you use real truck axles, leaf springs, and have a balance of something that's soft when empty, and can still handle a thousand pounds plus 4-5 fat fucks
Ute's can't haul much at all. I guess it can delivery a fuck ton of pizzas. But you're not going to safely carry a pallet of hardware supplies.
Cars you hate but everyone loves?
I hate the HR holden. People think they are classic Australian icons but to me they look like an Bigger Australian version of a lada.
