My brother has this car and i agree.
How do I get over driving anxiety? Long drives and highways make me panic
lose your will to live like me
drive more
Remember that the goal of all life is death
Why can't European or American cars handle like this?

I can't even believe it...
Pretty sick car that WRX, love to see it in person especially at isle of man TT race.

Dear /o/, I've fallen in love with pic related but I'm a broke as college student
>tfw i'll never build boost and launch out of the parking lot in my turbo buick, while stealing pussy from chads in WRXs and Camaros
>but i don't need pussy in my life, race car drivers don't need pussy, because pussy is fro pussies
>also not miata so not gay
alright what's the point of this thread
>>17344335
This is a buick thread, /o/ lacks buick threads.

bro just save up some cash.
I saved up 5k while at uni and by the time I had my first real job I was able to get to 10k within a year and spent half of that on an E30.
If you keep thinking you're poor and there's no point in saving then you will never have any cash, but saving like a few pounds a day adds up.
Hey /o/, I'm in a little bit of a pickle here.
I got a $20 dollar ticket for following too closely/tailgating.
Should I fight this ticket or just pay it? I didn't cause an accident or anything but the cop did see me and probably had it on his camera too.
Will my insurance go up and does that make it worth trying to fight?
>>17343763
Just pay it you fucking mong
Your insurance will go up for 3 years. Fight it.
You can pay $20 and the insurance hike or you can spend twice as much fighting it and then lose because you were following too close. There's nothing else to it, you fucked up and that's all there is, whether or not it caused an accident is irrelevant. Unless you had a legit reason such as evading a mass shooter or precariously made roadways that forced you into that situation it was entirely your fault and you have no case.

Explain this.
>Currently have 13' F150 Platinum with 6.2L V8 with 76k miles
>12 MPG average
>Might want to trade it in for a used 6.7 Powerstroke with maybe 100k-130k miles to get better fuel mileage, more power, and more longevity. I don't like the Ecoboost, either.
If my F150 trades in for an equally valuable F250/350 with the 6.7 PSD, will my yearly input (fuel, maintenance, everything) be the same as owning the 6.2? I drive about 12k miles a year. Obviously maintenance is going to be more on the diesel, but holy shit my F150 burns through so much fuel I think it actually might just be better to step up to the diesel, What y'all think?
>>17342489
Ls1 swap your F150
>>17342496
Nah, too much work for not enough reward
I get 8.4 mpg average from my 4.7 1500 ram.
Because it's a site vehicle.
It really depends on what you do with the vehicle and the condition it is in.
What are some similarities that your car and your >gf share
Mine:
>beautiful
>high maintenence
>has a nice straight six
I used to say
>doesn't exist
but I actually have had a car for a year now.
neither exist
Doesn't work half the time and when it does it gives me trouble to no end
my car is sort of a shitbox now, is it still worth it for me to pay about $100 extra for top of the line michelins vs some decent looking yokohamas?
/tire general/
I also have a question about tires. Which ones are the best for DD but with good grip to use them for some backroads or w/e
>>17340694
>yokohamas
Those are probably fine, but there's more to it then that. What are your driving habits?
>>17340694
I'm thinkin' about picking up some Hankooks Evo 2s because they are pretty affordable at just under $400. Does anyone have these and can tell me how good or bad they are?
What the fuck went wrong?
>>17340178
Their owners. should've been left alone.
They tried to not be platforms that werent repeated garbage, got punished by mama GM, then put out gimped products.
>>17340178
No no no, what the FUCK happened here?
So, who has the fastest car on /o/ and why is it me (pic related)?
>understeering haldex VAG spare parts bin trash
This is not even in the top 10 fastest here lol
your s4 is heavier than mine
therefore mine is faster, faggot.
kys
Thinking about buying the 94's honda civic
it has around 140k miles, 125 hp, 1.6 litres and atm the guy wants 6 300 PLN (which is almost 1700 USD)
Im 19 and its going to be my first car (settled down on a civic after almost a year of thinking and looking shit up starting as a complete auto n00b)
What's your opinion about the car /o/, am I getting ripped off or is it a good choice considering my tight budget, I refuse to take any of my family's money cause I just want the full feeling of independence (would already have a 2012 fiesta if it wasnt the case)
>pic(s) related is the car
more details below
>inb4 read the sticky, im a fucking europoor, almost nothing is relevant
>>17339691
Well it's a red Civic hatch, so prepare for Memes on that front.
Every thing else, it's a decent car and I wish I could find one for that price, numbers on the motor should make it, (if my honda fu is right) a D16Z6 Which means VTEC brah, albeit single cam, but I doubt you care that much, if you want to know if it's economical for a to b shit, then yeah it should be, look at shit like rust, (outside looks clean but check under, wheel struts, etc it is a 23 year old car after all) make sure the timing belt is changed, and you should be fine.
>>17339691
The owner bought it in 2010
Entire car was painted and rust proofed (the owner clamis to not get any rust ever since), replaced both doors and rear fenders(plastic)
>cost 3 900PLN (little over 1 000 USD)
>>17339691
sorry if im confusing but im translating it on a go
In 2012 the engine was swapped from a D13B2 to the D16Z6 and it came with
>changing out bearings new ones from Taiho
>crankshaft was checked and polished
>new crankshaft sealants
>new camshaft and timing belt
>new Valeo clutch and filled with MTF
Behold the new crown Vic's of our time
>>17339431
>tfw own a black one
>get looked at the wrong way when i pass the hood
what's the deal, i thought they liked unmarked crown vics
>>17339466
They like when THEY are driving em because it gives em more power than lil ole whitey
At this point I miss tricky vicky.
Fucking explorers are the soccer mom vehicle of choice around me.
