Checkmate
So I drove without power steering for the first time today and I must say that it was pretty shitty. Obviously it is not too noticeable while you are moving but slowing down for a sharp turn or something of the sort is a real pain in the ass. I previously had a hydraulic rack and there is virtually no difference that I can tell when it comes to "the feel of the road". It's just a fucking hassle to drive now
No power steering is a fucking meme, people remove it thinking they'll gain back that unnoticable 2hp.
Then when they came out with electric power steering everyone talked shit about that too because of "muh road feels."

well what car was it
Looking for a semi-luxury sports coupe under 22k USD no older than 10 years with sub-70k miles and these 3 seem to fit the bill the best, just looking for some opinions before I test drive in a couple weeks. They also have very similar reviews and specs (60 in under 5), and most of the differences appear to come from small details or personal preferences.
335i: Most visually appealing to me, but you see 3-series everywhere and I'm not exactly BMWs biggest fan for really stupid reasons that shouldn't prevent me from purchasing a car. The 2013's are all in my price range, making them the most "recent" of the bunch, and also have the lowest miles (seeing them with 20-40k miles). The confusing thing to me is that people say "just spend another couple grand and get an M3" but when I look around, the only M3's within a 200 mile radius under 28k (more than my budget) are 5+ years older, have 120k+ miles, and just don't look well taken care of.
e550: Second in looks for me. Seems to be the middle man between the other 2. Not many thoughts, but I've always like Mercs. Can get these between '10-'11 for the price.
s5 4.2: Gotta have the v8 in this one. Probably my favorite interior just looking at it, looks more like a young persons car (I'm 27) and the front end is gorgeous. But I hatehatehate the rear of this car. Idk why. Can get these in '10-'12 for the price.
Anyone have other thoughts? Experiences? Opinions? I'm also playing with the idea of an 08+ LS3 c6 Vette and was surprised to see those in my price range, definitely faster than the others listed above but would be the oldest of the bunch and I would feel more pressure to modify it (more $$) when I'm trying to get something semi quick for getting around traffic but not inclined to dump 10 grand in performance parts. My current daily has been a '91 LS swapped foxbody Mustang for the past 2 years. Love the car, but it's time for an upgrade.
Not interested in: Camaros, Mustangs, Challengers, Z's, 86/BRZ's, Miatas, etc.

Timing chain guides say no. Supercharged V6 is a much more reliable option.

FUCK the formatting got fucked. My bad.

FUCK YOU ELIO WHERE'S MY CAR
I RESERVED THAT SHIT LIKE A YEAR AGO
DID I JUST GET SCAMMED?
>>17385669
Never preorder anything. Retard.
lel did you actually bought this piece of crap?
>>17385669
But dude, that shit looks awful
Rental company took my f-150 ecoboost away because of recall. That thing was awesome!!!
Now I'm driving a really nice expedition limited but miss the ride height and speed of the f-150, not to mention it was more intimidating to people. The Expedition intimidates no one.
I might could trade it on a black and chrome ram 2500, pick related. Should I?
>>17385503
*picture
Anyway, is the smaller hemi going to suck in a heavy 2500?
>>17385510
Or is it going to have a better transmission and be good?
That f-150 had a 10 speed transmission and aluminum body, 0-60 rated at like 5 and a half seconds or something.
>>17385610
Never mind, got the ram.
It's slower than shit and the interior is shitty but it looks badass and sits up real high so that's good enough.
YOU HAVE 28 SECONDS TO EXPLAIN WHY YOU DON'T OWN A MOTORCYCLE
>GO
Because they're dangerous as all fuck! Pic is mine. I've been riding for over 30 years.
I had three, then two, now one.
Bout to get rid of the last one, need money for a welder and a tubing bender and a plasma cutter.
I'll never get rid of my mopeds tho, mopeds are life.
Poor
How do people drift in Gran Turismo? If I use the handbrake the car comes to a halt.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kz2hUKswc9E
>>17385191
I dunno about GT5. but just started playing 3 again, and the handbrake is useless unless shifting the weight to correct from understeer imo. Just hit the corners fast enough with the throttle applied, and then hit throttle as needed to maintain while countersteering. Probably way easier with a wheel and pedals, but as I have none I can't really tell you.
>>17385191
>used car

use the shitty tires?
Name a better car.
Pro-tip : You can't.

Only people I ever see drive AMG mercs are ~20 year old blondes
you'd think they give them out for free

Hmmm, I would also consider RS6 wagon. That baby looks bomb and sexy.
