Alright fellow Fl/o/rida fag, I drive by your truck all the time. Come forward, let's talk about how you're so fucking jealous of that fiesta st you park next to all the time.
>>17347813
Quit taking pictures of your own POS OP.
>>17347829
Make me Faggot.
You already tried this once with that shitty party thread. Fuck off.
>driving on a steep hill
>there are cars street parked at the top
>not enough space to merge into the next lane
>motor getting close to stalling as I approach the parked car
>HAVE TO STOP
GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKER IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL TO PARK LIKE THIS.THIS IS THE MOST RETARDED SHIT EVER.
>>17347437
Gid gud and learn to clutch control or downshift rapidly.
Otherwise, have you tried driving a car that has enough power to make it up hills?
My 1.6 Focus only ever struggles when it's trying to climb a long steep hill while fully loaded, and even that just means I'm using third gear for torque and being patient.
>>17347437
>stalling on a hill
>not redlining and slipping the clutch simultaneously
amateur detected
>>17349148
if you're "using third gear for torque" the engine shouldn't be struggling bud
Okay /o/ so i need to change my front CV joints on my 1998 Subaru Forester and the options are
1) Reconditioned Subaru OEM CV joints
2) Brand new CV joints from an auto parts store (their own inhouse brand)
What do? To buy brand new 1998 Forester CVs from my local dealer would cost $2600 AUSD for the pair, people on ebay are selling them for $240 but cant verify if they are genuine or not.
Got the car booked in to get it changed so any input would be most appreciated, thanks /o/

choose from several, I'd go with the subtracks
>>17346718
Dayum son thats cheap, but wont be able to get that on time for my service this Tuesday, dont really want to put in reconditioned Subaru CV shafts and i dont really want to put in CVs that are new that are made in China. Are reconts that bad?
Is this the perfect family car? Imagine just going on a road trip across the country and seeing the countryside, going to the beach and surfing with your kids
Oh look it's the daily Lincoln autist thread
how can Cadillac even compete?
>>17346349
they can't
Not trying to start a flamewar but I'll keep it short and sweet:
>own a 2008 Golf
>its a piece of shit but it's paid for and I own it
>have the hot hatch bug
>starting to make plans to replace the ol shitbox
>want something similarly fun
>want something relatively reliable that I can make repairs on if needed
should I get a Fiesta/Focus?
>>17425837
Focus or Mazda 3
>>17425849
I was also considering a Mazda 3 hatch/wagon but I have seen posts (memes, I guess) on /o/ regarding their lack of reliability.
How about SEAT VAGi Boi?
I GOT 20GRAND FROM MY VW TDI.
Giving 10 to the parents, another 10 for me. I got 10 grand to drop on any car... I'd prefer to have that money cover the cost of the car entirely.
I want:
>fun to drive
>decent fuel economy
>RELIABLE AS FUCK (HUGE ONE HERE)
>stick
>nothing moded up
Buy a Fiesta and shut the fuck up
>>17425710
Mazda 3, though you'll have forsake some reliability.
Civic si
Will buying a nice car get me a qt gf?

This is like the fifth time this has been posted here.

>Truck did nothing wrong but have a high center of gravity
>>17425089
Car is the ultimate pile of shit here.
Bike should be charged for roadrage and maybe leaving the scene.
Car should be charged for attempted murder and held 100% responsible for damage\injury for all vehicles involved.
>>17425092
>>Truck did nothing wrong but have a high center of gravity
which is the most hilarious bit
nigga got fucking tapped and is upside down

>Automotive News reports that a more hardcore version of the Civic Type R is already in the works. Honda is also considering building even more variants of the Type R to cater to different enthusiast needs.
>The first Civic Type R variant will be a more hardcore version with more horsepower than the base model's 305. On the opposite end of the spectrum, a less hardcore Type R "focused more on the grand touring aspect," according to Matsumoto, is under consideration.
>Interestingly, Automotive News also reports that an all-wheel drive version of the Type R is a possibility. Matsumoto said that he wanted the first Civic Type R in the US to be a reflection of previous models—light, powerful, and front-wheel drive—but apparently, he's leaving the door open for radical new versions.
What did they mean by this?
>>17424718
>What did they mean by this?
There's room between $34,000 and $40,000 for a Civic Type R [extra retarded japanese nomenclature here] so that they can sell them to people in the Northeast corridor, where people have money but also snow.
I hope my dad will by me the hardcore version when I turn 30. Would be neat if they removed some weight too.

It's pretty sweet tasting. Once you've tasted it you'll remember it and help remember what fluids on your car taste like what.
