hoping it comes with more available options for NA
>I will never own a cool or respectable automobile
That does look pretty cool though. It will probably have a few more options for North America but I wouldn't expect that many for what's going to be a low-volume enthusiast hatch.

And they killed the gran coupe for this

Good. Gran coupes are retarded.

Fucking obese sedan
Fucking ugly piece of shit
This issue has been bugging me for a week and I'm stumped.
I have checked the voltage and ampage on the battery and it is good and I even replaced it. I have replaced the alternator through warranty for a new one even when the last one tested good and I have cleaned the battery terminals real good. I've checked all fuses and relays and they are good. Checked the starter wires and they are good and tight. SJB is dry as the desert and so is the carpet around it. All main chassis grounds were on tight.
What is happening is the computer seems to reset itself when any kind of electrical stuff is being used. Even when I open the doors and the window automatically comes down an inch or so. It doesn't start period now and no power appears to come on EXCEPT the slowly flashing anti theft light and the airbag light if I have the key in. Before, no power came on period. Everytime I try to crank the car with the key, it either does nothing at all or I hear that sound the instrument cluster makes when you reset the ECU.
Yesterday, it worked just fine. I drove it for a couple miles with no gremlins and started it up and off a dozen times. Then I park in the garage, close the doors and hit the lock on my key fod and bam, all power goes out. I try disconnecting my battery and instead of my alarm going off when I connect the negative terminal, it clicks nonstop as if it's trying to off but can't. Like as if it doesn't have enough power.
This all happened last friday when I was parked, driving home from work and out of nowhere the car's computer started resetting itself while the car was driving but the actual motor wasn't turning off. I made it just far enough home in my driveway then the car wouldn't turn back on again until tomorrow when I disconnected the battery and let it sit for a couple hours.
The day after, the motor was turning off while the same symptoms were showing though. All dummy lights like ABS, TCS go on, gauges reset, radio resets, lights turn off and on and you get that braking feeling.
All in all, sometimes it works 100%, sometimes half the car works until I hit some electric stuff with or without the motor on and sometimes I get nothing.
Here is a video of what it is doing right now, and you can clearly hear the noises and computer clicking. One of the clicks is me constantly turning on the lights which causes the computer to reset ( or the use of any electrics it appears ).
How do I go on about finding the problem? I'd hate to take it to a mechanic and get charged an arm and a leg.

Sounds like your going to need a new ECM, if it's still warranty they should replace they no problem. If not you're fucked! But if it happens after they fix it I'm sure they will buy it back.
>>17367586
Whoa there cowboy, don't go manning the parts cannon so soon. Need to narrow down where the problem actually is. Something is causing the voltage to drop out to the ECM. You really need wiring diagrams, OP. Need to backprobe the power lines to the ECM and rule that out first. If power is cutting out due to a bad ground or a short then you need to track that down. If ECM is getting good power, then you can start looking at the ECM itself being bad. Get. A. Wiring. Diagram.
Do you live in a road salt state where corrosion is bad, OP?
>cut somebody off
>proceed to brake check them right afterwards
Why do people do this?
Also first time using dash cam, it started beeping when this faggot almost hit me.
Why drive in the far left lane to begin with if you're not even going over 65mph
>/o/ you should be ashamed of yourself.
How are you going to redeem yourself?
>getting the rolls royce meme lights on your headliner costs more than a used 2014 car with less than 50k miles
redeemed.

I always thought it looked kind of cheesy too. Even if money was not an issue I wouldn't get them
Why did Shelby always use a live rear axle instead of an irs or multi link?
He wanted his cars to corner like the chickens he loved so much.
Let's talk parts suppliers /o/
Typically, I like to use good quality or at least middle of the road quality for parts I put in my shitboxes to keep 'em running.
My Accord needs a new front end kit, so upper control arm and steering links, and ball joints all around. What brand should I go for? Moog is really expensive, but my understanding is most parts kits out there are the same repackaged chinesium no matter what you buy. Thoughts?
My go to is
>Seals and gaskets, Fel-Pro
>Spark-plugs, wires, modules, AC-Delco
>Filters, Mobil or KN
>Bearings, Timmken

I just put all new MOOG steering parts in my jeep. 3 of the TRE's were made in the USA the fourth was made in Canada but still looked like it was good quality. I also bought new wheel bearings they were made in South Korea and had really good reviews on jeep forums. I like MOOG i have never had problems out of their parts.

Spray paint money signs on the wheels
>my shitbox constantly feels like it's about to fall apart but it just keeps going and going
>>17366956
Swap motor mounts
I know that feel anon
>>17366956
Oh shit
I zoned out and stopped at a green light and the guy behind me started yelling
I AM a fucking retard, is it even possible to recover?
Yes, just forget it and don't do it again

the worst is when you almost hit pedestrians. I recall a time I almost left turned into a grandma and child, luckily they stopped and I kept going on my way to think about the terrible accident that could have occurred.
Also once late at night I wanted to run a yellow and went WOT, but decided against it last second. Stopped and realized half a dozen highschool kids were just crossing on their merry way not giving a fuck talking amongst themselves and whatnot.

I was approaching a crosswalk once and the guy to my right was slowing down with his right blinker on, I thought he was just slowing down to turn but there was actually an old lady standing at the crosswalk hidden behind his vehicle and I couldn't see her, luckily he layed on the horn and stock his hand out the window when she started crossing which made me screech to a stop
I've been wondering about pic related recently
Is this cheapo SUV worth it to carry the family around and go innawoods?
Is Renault cool again?
Should I find a 4L instead?
Damn
Nobody's French or what?
Should I've put this in the off road general maybe?
I'm pretty sure this thing could go anywhere with a nice winch
I want to build something fun and off-road based, like a Caterham but for sand and back lanes.
Is a trophy truck kit car even a thing that exists? I know the Ariel Nomad fills this gap, but I'm the sort of faggot who'd like a windscreen.

Perfect
Thank you anon
I am looking for a first car car for 7000. I found a VW GLI but I'm open to any recommendations.
What is it you're looking for in a car? Figure that out first, before getting caught up in trying to convince yourself a particular car is right for you.
so I recently got a magnetic smartphone holder for my dash, but the suction cup keeps coming off
any good way to fix this? I don't want to just attach it to the windshield, I want this on my dash
I use a small magnetic one that uses 3M tape on the bottom and not a suction. It's stuck there for a few months.
>>17366040
My buddies came with a flat round plastic plate with 3m already attached to that. Stick it to dash then suction to that.
3m tape is your friend. Don't be afraid to bend up some styrene or whatever to contour to your dash.
