Just wanted some opinions of my exhaust what ya think. 2015 Mustang GT.
https://youtu.be/4O9B7aUb5aE
sounds good
how were the welds
>>17400786
Pretty good. The main thing I envy about big ass V8s is that sweet growl. You don't get that from my 300 hp 3S-GTE.
>>17400821
The MBRP welds are fine this is my 2nd exhaust I've purchased from them. (First being my 12' 3.7 mustang)
My Ls3 is in the shop, got this nigger rental car, can I ask for a different one??
>>17400669
No. Just drive like shit in the desert and fuck up the alignment or something they won't notice. Redline it at every opportunity.
>give me a nigger car
>I'll act like a nigger
Do it.

What do we know about the ford Edge, specifically the 2010 model? I drive one every day to work and around town. It's the base model with no special features except for a rear backup sensor, and it's the FWD version. It serves me well and has enough room that I can keep all of my tools in the back and still carry 3 passengers (though I usually just take my dog around with me). It's got 100,000 miles on the odometer and runs well as of right now, but what problems should I be aware of with the 3.5 V6?
As a side note I think this is easily the most mature board on the chan and I enjoy reading this board more than any other even though I'm not an auto enthusiast. You people have your shit together.
I forgot to mention this is only the second vehicle I've ever owned outright and my last ride was a V6 Buick LeSabre custom; I really care about keeping it in good shape. I don't make a lot of money.
>the chan

These are known for having transmission isssues after about 120kmiles op maybe look for one with less miles or maybe a Honda CR-V
Hello /o/
Someone backed into my car that was underinsured. My insurance wants to total my car (05 Lexus IS300)
Anyways, Can I decline this and keep the car? It's only cosmetic damage and I just got the car.
>>17400594
why dont you ask them if you can decline ?
>>17400594
Take the total loss if it's an automatic and get a 2IS its so much better
if they know it's considered total I'm not sure what you can do. You can always let them total it, grab the check, and buy it back.
>aviator coming back
>50/50 chance of a mark 9 or a full size flagship
>Highest satisfaction rating of any brand
>Highest loyalty rating of any brand
>Better reliability than German cars
>Smoother ride than (((Cadillac)))
>front Seats as comfy as an s class's rear seats
Lincoln is the best brand, this is a fact
>mark 9 based on the current mustang platform
>hardcore variant along the lines of an AMG
yes pls
>>17400514
but the rest of lincoln is pointless garbage, forgot to mention
they seem pretty shit tbqh
a bunch of geriatrics liking them doesnt mean much to me
Diesel Swaps
Why aren't they more popular?
I decides if I get a 240sx and for whatever reason the engine seizes or has too many problems, I'd Diesel swap it
Friends say this is a bad Idea
Why?
if not, what diesel engine would be recommended?
>still a newfag to /O/
I'm here to learn
>am in California, Diesel is cheaper than gasoline
they are literally meme tier now
they were cool at first but now theyre meh from so many doing them
id suggest not spending thousands of dollars to have slightly cheaper fuel
>>17400373
Diesel motors are heavy, expensive and shit at making HP due to RPM restrictions.
They definitely have their place, but aren't a good swap for performance or even everyday driving
>>17400395
Weird because I've seen diesel swaps on a Charger & Camero, and they seem to be plenty fast & powerful
What makes them different?
https://youtu.be/C3bBiqIWffY
>overtakes you
>brake tests you
How do you react?
Surely your reaction aint to eye that tyre iron under passenger seat
>>17400361
Why get blood on my tire iron when I have a crowbar?
Any reasonable person would probably just move lanes and pass the shitbox
Well, time to live up to that stereotype.
>>17400380
>breaks down
You sure showed him
Thoughts on the Raptor?
Inb4 >ecoboost
>>17400332
badass
>>17400332
Better in every way than the old one except for the exhaust note.
>car has odd number of exhaust tips larger than 1
>>17400315
I'm going to put a trio of tips in a triangle in the center of my 818's rear bumper and you can't stop me.
Dammit I knew I should have added another one
For me, its Black Ice spray, the best automotive scent.
>not the tree
but then no one can see your meme and you actually have to smell the shit
literally why
>>17402455
>actually have to smell that shit
Can you even deal, faggot?
Any word on that anon who drowned a BI tree in this spray and left it to ferment in a ziploc?
Got title related recently, and am wondering what some of the best entry level mods are
>2.4 i4
>5MT
>Bone stock
I've taken a look through the accord forums, but it's mostly full of shitposters
>add 2 cylinders
>you bought the wrong car XDDD
The only valid advice I've seen seem to be ported intake runners, UR pulleys, and downpipes
Any of you fucks got any input?
Why would you mod a slow shitbox though? Even fully modded its slower than a modern civic.
And they are right you are missing 2 cylinders congrats u played yourself into buying a boring econobox.
run open downpipe for maximum trolling
The only significant performance gain you could have is trading it for a v6.
We've had threads about aesthetic race cars so now post race cars that belong in the "what were they thinking" category.
Like this thing. Not only is the road car one of the most hideous cars to exist, someone thought that using its body desing for a race car was a good idea.
Anyone else wearing gloves while on the backroads in their shitbox? If yes what gloves are you using?
Pic related, my poor man's racing gloves.
Only because I'm too much of a lazy cunt to take them off after work, or because its winter
>>17400112
Those are excellent for working on your car. They use them in work, I sneak a pack or two out for myself desu.
>>17400126
>Those are excellent for working on your car
Nono, I mean driving. I have sweaty hands and I can't grip my leather wheel reliably enough to drive hard comfortably.
>*blocks your track*
What u do?
>>17400027
Let Aston Martin win Le Mans.
>>17400027
brake just early enough to not understeer off the track
Plow straight through.
New to bikes so im slowly buying gear on sale and I just realized that its all from alpinestars. Therefore im wondering if its silly to be head to toe in 1 brand as a new rider and is it really important for a jacket and pants to zip up together? :/
if you wear full leathers on the road you'll look like a fag
>>17399872
>look
Disregard what she said.
Safety is paramount
Nothing wrong with some good fitting 2-piece leathers for street as long as you don't ride them in the rain
