What's your opinion on the 190D?
2.6 with 5 speed or 2.5 turbo diesel with 5 speed.
EVOs if you have a surplus of money
>>17404287
Great car. Body and electronics will disintegrate before the engine will ever even break a sweat. Biggest issue is the age. All the rubber is rotten on these by now including alot of vacuum lines. Id your willing to replace them, then you should have a great car.
>>17404287
I own one! a 2.2l diesel with a 5sp.
I absolutely love it. Slow as shit, 50mpg, wonderfully well designed, easy to work on, beautiful in my opinion, a pleasure to drive.
>>17404295
I haven't had much of trouble with my vacuum lines or anything, but the window rubbers are nearly gone from being in the sun so much... surprisingly the door lining rubbers are still usable though.

MOMENTUUUUUM!
I need to do brakes on my '05 WRX. The most I do is mostly aggressive street driving and AutoX/Touge every now and then.
Has anyone used pads from Powerstop (Z26) or Stoptech (Street or Sport)? They're cheap from RockAuto ($40/axle) and I don't feel like spending $100/axle for Hawks. I'm taking the money saved and spending it on a set of Stoptech SS lines.
I actually can't find a lot of info on the Powerstops, but the Stoptechs seem to have mixed reviews (sports tend to leave a lot of brake deposits if not used hard). Other options are Brembo or Akebono Ceramic pads.
ayy thats what I put on my 07 WRX. They're a good value, Hawk HPS is over priced imo
>>17404309
Yeah they are given its a old compound. They'd run me like $170-200 for front and rear. I'd rather spend that money on SS lines, H6 rear brakes (2 piston front/1 piston rear like stock 02-05 US WRXs), and flushing the original fluid 100% out.
Which one did you get? Stoptech Street, Sport, or Powerstop?

Fuck off to nasioc
Should I get bigger rims for my Camry LE? It comes with 16 inch wheels. But it handles smooth
how will the wheel stay together if you just get bigger rims? how are you going to take the wheel apart if its once piece to increase the size of the rim.
The camry is just about a perfectly engineered automotive appliance, don't fuck with it.

the prelude is lame but you might as well go for it

RX7
I bought a supra and I'm thinking of selling it for a sports car, it's a good GT but not really something you can thrash around small roads.
Prelude is good but the RX7 is better.
It was a 1993 Toyota Corolla 5 speed
Got it for a song and a dance with 40k, Put about 50k on it before a nigger stole it at the gas station.
A week later the police called me and told me they found it on fire in SW Baltimore.

Red pill me on VW Golfs.
Why do they have rotors if there are no calipers? Why do you have to wash them after every drag race?

Shit, I mean Jetta.
I don't know much about Honda cars.
From what year are the twongers galvanized?
i want to buy one now thanks to /o/ memeing but i dont want one that rusts or will rust
Not sure if they ever were galvanized, but their paint is pretty good so they're not as rust-prone as you might think.
Just make sure to inspect the underbody, wheel wells and door sills.
