I recently was having problems with my 07 Jeep Wrangler it wasn't running smoothly and the engine was stuttering, I can alot of injector cleaner through it but the problem persistent. I changed the oil, the plug wire, the plug control module, and the plugs. But still one of my cylinders isn't firing. Whenever I unplug it from the module there is no difference in how it is running, but when I unplug a different wire it shocks the shit out of me. What could it be that keeps this one cylinder from firing? Please help /o/

If it's not firing, then check your OBD2 codes.
Does anybody know what this bent piece is called? Was recently in a wreck and it bent up. Trying to find replacement parts.

Here is it how it's suppose to look.
Would it be worth the hassle to pull out and beat the fuck out of it with a hammer or should I just replace it...?
Can you post a bigger fuckup? No.
Yeah, me.

>enter the parking lot, informed it's closed, but the underground parking lot is available
>kind of sleepy, doesn't look back when I reverse so I can veer right to enter the underground ramp
>slam another security cabin, breaking the rear window and slightly denting the bumper
>freak out a minute, then park it on the underground, go to work
>for the next three hours I literally want to die
>tell both parents, they're fine with it
>insurance is called in, no one asks who was driving and whatnot
>rear window is replaced in the same day
>it's like nothing happened
And I only got three months that I've got my permit.
Before anyone says something, I am obviously the only one to blame for this, even because I suck dicks.

Don't feel too bad anon. I scratched my car pulling out of the garage last week because I was late and in a rush. and got a speeding ticket like 10 minutes later as well.

When sleepy or DUI, it is easy to have the "oh well who cares" atttitude, so you don't look when you reverse. Good thing it was not a pedestrian or your boss's car that was hit.
Anyways, it was an easygoing lesson.
Have you faggots ever gotten cramps while driving? I almost died today.

you can now import kei cars that are 25 years for dirt cheap
or buy ones that have already been imported here.

>synthetic oil
Has there ever been a bigger scam in the history of the world than this? I have a car that "needs" synthetic oil and yet, surprise surprise, the normal cheaper oil works just fine
>>17405921
*ticks in your path*
well synthetic is needed if you dont have an oil cooler. high temps cook conventional.
my car has a factory oil cooler so i can use either.

Look at this exception, the Miata. It looks like a WINNER.
Can we get an edit of Miata being a clingy yandere and the Toyota being a nervous MC?

At work today, I heard a radio advert for the 2010/2011 Cadillac CTS-V. Boasting to be faster around the Nurburgring in Germany. I sat and thought to myself, I wonder why they would make such a large claim.
The cars they Compared it too were the Mercedes C63 AMG with 451bhp, The BMW M5 Sedan With 500bhp… So I had to reseach the Cadillac. Turns out it has 556hp… NO SHIT ITS GOING TO BE FASTER. It has over 100hp on the Benz and over 50hp on the BMW…
This is why American cars piss me off, They use ridiculous claims to try and sell there cars which are horrible in my opinion. I cant stand general motors, How can you go from the King of automotive to the scum of the automotive world. Using other companies cars as your own
Yes I understand they can do that because blah blah blah I dont really care. Look at all the previous generation of Corvettes, Horrible cars after 10+ years… I dont care what year it is, its made of plastic and the frame is from a 18th century wagon and to top it all off… Monoleaf rear suspension.

hey dumbass hey
hey
hey
the reason the cadillac was being compared with the benz and bmw was because it's in the same price range
and it's faster
euro btfo
and Im calling bullshit because no way you heard an ad for a 7 year old car
second gen did a lap in 7:59 and and started at $59k and could be a manual wagon.

Would greatly appreciate a check of this VIN
So I'm looking at my first performance car after coming from a j31 maxima and after thought of what I'm wanting reliability(Nissan, Subaru) or at least cheap easy parts( hsv) , low 5 second 0-100, an engaging experience (especially coming from a fwd 4 speed maxima) and potential for after market performance. I'm looking at spending max 25k with something under 100,000ks.
From what I've seen the hsv has the biggest aftermarket(would get cams, headers, exhaust, intake and a tune) being that I'm in Australia followed by the wrx sti (injectors, fuel pump, new turbo etc) cause its a turbo car so not hard to get more power and the least aftermarket for performance is the 370 where it would be headers, intake, exhaust and a tune at most as I'm not willing to get a turbo or supercharger due to the cost.
So I guess what I'm after is a 3 way comparison and maybe some other ideas? Sorry bout the post im on my phone.
Also the hsv would be the ls3 version
>>17405731
Swap the 370 for the 350. It's better looking and has more aftermarket parts.
>>17405789
The better looking parts subjective and the interior of the 370 is miles ahead of the 350, I'm not sure bout the after market parts though
Alright so it's probably just me not getting the air out of the system but heres the deal
when i start my car and it's cold the temp gauge will run up like normal but then spike past normal temps for a second and jump back down. Before the temps spike i get no heat at all.
When the car is warm but has been turned off for a few minutes and then turned on i get heat for a maybe a minute then goes dead cold and the temps spike again and when that happens my heat comes back
is it just air in the cooling system or maybe a thermostat? Engine is a GM 3.1 out of a malibu. I've followed the hanes manual on bleeding and it states:
open bleeder valve and fill surge tank
close bleeder valve and surge cap
run until operating temp
open surge cap while idling, and fill if nessicary and then reinstall cap
everytime i do that it just seems to leak the pressure, i dont lose any coolant and when i take it for a drive once the temps spike the car holds temp perfectly.
i'm not an expert but i need this to just work for as long as it can while i figure out how i am going to get a new car
had similar problems with my NA miata after a coolant flush despite it working just fine prior. ended up replacing the thermostat and it fixed the issue.
anyways, all you really need to do is jack up the front of the car and idle the engine with the heat on as youre adding coolant. it should remove most of the air
>>17405715
>ended up replacing the thermostat and it fixed the issue.
i've been wanting to swap the thermostat to the 180f one instead of the 195 it's just an absolute bitch to get to on these engines. I guess i'll have to try it then. The one thats in is less than a year old and is the oem replacement one. Who knows maybe it is sticking.
