>Looking for some advice/input
i'm relatively new to the car scene and i've had a hyundai shitbox since i was 19 (now 22) i don't have any experience with the more technical projects. i've had this desire for about a year now to work on a car i can learn from and grow with. it's the similar feeling i had when i started building computers when i was younger. i've been lucky enough to have my father offer to help me out financially if i wish. i've been saying nothanks for about a year now (it's just a shit feeling asking for a large sum of money like that), but he has been insisting recently. i've been thinking about 240s but i think i missed the boat on them while they were cheap they all just seem over priced nowadays for what i want to do. Recently been looking at e30s and like what i see, thoughts on them. I plan on doing an engine swap regardless of what i decide to go with.

240sx's are kinda garbage. stay away from them unless you plan on buying a stock one with drift tax. (a low mileage 240sx without any rust will run you $6k+)
Also is there a specific reason why you want a 240sx?
Because you want a "cool" looking DD?
Same question for an E30... they are 30 yr old shitboxes. Fun to hoon but thats about it.
I mean what do you plan to do with whatever engine swapped rwd car? Do you plan on taking it to drift events or do you just want street cred or something?
>>17419277
you should just buy a Miata. less tax with them and way more fun to drive, assuming you aren't drifting it.
or E36 325i. It obviously has more power to play around with and a great aftermarket

>Like the way they look and heard they were cheap hoon machines good for first timers, simple as that. Like i said i think i missed the boat on them.

>daily driver that i can have fun with. you said fun to hoon and that's what i'm after. As far as drifting goes not particularly, maybe i'd give it a try in the future not sure.

What is the point of this thread?
>>17419231
Because it turns up %60 junk cars
One of the best european shitboxes ever made
Agreed OP. It may look cheap but it's one of the most optimized vehicles out there. Versatile and all around useful. You can still buy a turbo equiped 205 with some effort if you want.
overrated dadcar

Have you cunts ever driven one?
I'm old, and I've owned the 1.9 version
They are utter shit. They handled OK, but it was like driving a tin bucket with wheels. Absolutely horrible cars.
Fucking kids talking about shit they know nothing about
Stoner hipsters see this car and take a photos of the 420 badge for instagram.
>>17419155
the fact that you made a thread about it makes you just as pathetic as them

my buddy just bought a 70s v8 450sl for 900 dollars, it's a fun car
Is it a meme thing to get people to buy overpriced tiny screens or will they come as default dashboards in the near future?
>>17419099
Why not both?

Was thinking of buying a new diesel car to replace my old corsa. Any recommendations? Would the ford focus be a good choice? Location: Germany, Budget: 20 to 25k

Do Brabus tuned/designed cars hold value?
Stop worrying about stuff that holds value, the best value for money is a corolla (Suzuki carry if you want a workhorse) that you drive way past 500k until it dies. Then you repeat the cycle with whatever's a cheap reliable and common car in the future.
>>17418626
Maybe he doesn't want a shitbox Corolla, as reliable as they are.
>>17418598
Here is a life tip poorfag...
People who can afford to order a Brabus, don't give a shit about it's depreciation....
>here's your parking space bro
Please rain so that it bogs up right on the ramp off. Seeing normie cars stuck is one of my fetishes.

How does it feel that most of the cars you like are considered completely shit by normies?
Amazing. More money left over for upgrades.
