So I'm looking at a new 2017 V6 Mustang at 24gs and some change. Should I wait until the new 2018 models come out that exclude the V6? Would the price drop significantly?
>inb4 get an ecoboost
Dont like how they sound.
>inb4 get a GT V8
Poor fag
Get a used GT V8.
>self-proclaimed poor fag
>buying new
really gets my neurons firing

Budget wise you jackass.
So what do you guys think of Jon Olsson's new Rolls-Royce Wraith?
810 BHP
It's dumb and a marketing gimmick like himself. The same shit he's been doing for over 10 years.
>road car
>road wheels and tires
>"rally" lights
Fucking disgusting.
There's no good reason to modify a rolls-royce
Lightning Mcqueen: C5 Corvette

jesus what the fuck?
How does car offspring work? Do they get a designer baby made at the nearest GM plant that they upgrade every couple of years to account for aging?

I didn't see a QTDDTOT thread, so I figured I'd make one to ask this question from someone with more wheel swap experience:
I have some Virgo wheels (pic related, although it's just a Google image picture) from my Volvo 240 that I'm about to part ways with and I've always liked the look of them, so I figured I would put them on my 2000 Volvo V70 before getting rid of the 240.
Bolt pattern is the same, wheel size is the same, but offset is different. The Virgos are 20mm while my current wheels (I believe) are 40mm. Should I expect to run into any issues?
I'm going to swap them this weekend, but I wanna have a rough idea beforehand to know if I'm just wasting my time.
Assuming you mean +20 and +40, the outer lip of the virgos will sit 20mm farther inboard. This might look funny. You might be able to make up for that with spacers and extended lugs.
>>17417787
Oh and you also might rub at steering lock if you don't use spacers, but that's not a huge deal, just don't turn the wheel all the way.
What qualifies as a classic car on /o/'s classic car general threads?
Will Amricans buy the Kia Stinger 4 door sportscoupe?

Why did the NSX and Civic Type R fail for Honda this year?
Fail how?
You not liking it?
>>17438573
They are mediocre at best.
Sales for the NSX has been poor due to it being a hyvrid and the new civic is FWD with an ugly design.
If honda made a cheap rwd sports car with 250+hp to compete with the Toyota 86 it would be GOAT. But sadly honda cannot into RWD anymore
Something that hide its powerlevel behind the small, meek, unassuming look

Wrong. Lexus is best.
just asking, what is wrong with the interior? Seems like your generic luxury, nothing outlandish but nothing really horrible
>paying 60k for a ford with leather seats
Lots of people are saying don't do it because you'll be pretty much broke but I've wanted this car for so long now.
What do /o
>>17431953
It depends on how your finances are otherwise.
If you're in good shape financially and can afford that car, fuck it, go for it. I ALWAYS keep my monthly finances to a 50% ratio or less. Ideal is 40%.
(Mortgage + utilities + insurance + taxes/12 + food + gas + __________) / (Annual net income / 12)
Or, do what I did to get an expensive car... Save up and put a large down payment on it

No
Make a new chassis already, fuck.
Who here is waiting to get one of these cars once agencies start swapping them out with new ones?
>>17442328
Why? They're shit even with the ecoboost so they'll be even shittier with the na v6.

The twin-turbo ones will be nice to have, and they can be pretty durable. They are nice to ride in.

/o/, I work in an architect's office and I had to go on a site visit today in order to inspect the concrete foundation pour which was reported to be incorrect. The company truck had a flat tire so my boss told me I could take his Miata. There was a touge with some sicc twisties on the way to the site and I couldn't help but do a little drifting. While drifting I accidentally lost control and flipped the car into a ditch. It has been an hour since work has ended and my boss is frantically calling me, probably wondering where I am with his car. What do I do? How can I hide the fact that I flipped the boss's Miata? The car is currently upside down. I tried lifting it with the emergency scissor jack but I can't get enough lift to flip the car right side up.
>>17441685
If this isn't bait, you are kind of fucked.
Your best bet is to say that someone swerved into your lane and you panicked and drove into the ditch, accidentally flipping. Say that the dude who swerved ran after you flipped.

Good afternoon /o/. I don't usually come here, but I had a question, and you guys are the best to answer it.
Long and short, I want a DeLorean... Or, rather, an electric car with a DeLorean body.
I realize how insane the request may sound, but I want to know where to start my quest. Can I buy a body kit for this? Does the DmC still exist in any major degree? Is there such a thing as an electric car frame on which to put a body? What kind of budget will I need?
Any help is appreciated.
>>17441521
fuck off
>>17441533
It's a real question, I'm not trolling, or anything.
I'm legitimately curious.
DeLoreans are fucking garbage. Unless you're a midget, you're going to feel severely cramped. The panel gap is laughable on most of the cars, especially the later ones. The stock engine and transmission are both anemic as fuck.
They're horrible cars.
