>Start car
>Go to corner shop to get milk
>Gone for 1 minute
>Come back and start car
>Belt screams it's tits off
>Car now has a tendency to scream when it is shut off and started again with in a couple of minutes
What the fuck does that mean and why does that happen
>>17444446
Tighten your belts..
>>17444446
Your car is angry at how fat you've gotten and is showing its displeasure. Go lose some weight and the belts won't be as strained.
It's hungry you dumb faggot, feed it.
My father and I are having an argument he says that when you are a truck driver for say: Walmart why not your day goes like this: load the truck drive it to the destination without using gps or anything besides a fucking map then unload the load at new destination then drive back to where you came from again not using gps but just a fucking map
I think he's full of shit because he did trucking back in the fucking 80's it's gotten a lot more to just they pay you to drive and the company loads/unloads it right?
theres a whole discussion thread on trucking. look for the truckerfag general in the catalog newfag
>>17444434
Take all the shit you go through driving your car through traffic and now imagine you are driving 70ft of truck and trailer. Also, in older parts of cities and town you will experience shit like pic related all the fucking time.
>>17444434
Walmart is hard to get on and they dont pay very well anymore.
It depends on the company you are driving for, the company you are hauling for and what you are hauling. Its not all just pickup and drop off. Also you dont even know about the whole "I arrived 5 minutes late to my appointment and they made me wait 6 hours to be unloaded and then it took them 6 hours to unload to pallets off my trailer" stuff. Thats the real fun part about trucking.
Which cutehatch would you rather get? Which is the nicest to drive?
Out of the Yaris, Mazda 2 and Fit/Jazz

I think you are asking the wrong people there Dr. Nosenberg DDS.
Why not just get a classic, limited porsche? Like a mint, early 930?
PS richfags will laugh at you for buying a $300k car. Get a loaded A8 or S class, and spend the rest on a plane or a nice boat you LaRPing dumbsshit.
>>17444213
>Basically i want to show everyone that i have a pretty big dick without hiding it.
You want a BMW or Mercedes then.

How many horsepower does an average horse produce
27
>>17444058
That depends on a lot of things, for a short time about 15 over the course of a day's work about 0.9 (James Watt didn't want to get into trouble for his steam engines performing worse than an actual horse over a day's mining)
>>17444058
The average draft horse can sustain 1 hp of continued work. Most other horses cannot. I've had drafts that can exceed that during heavy pulling though.
A good horse can do up to 20 hp in a sprint.
"79 mustang"
Looks pretty though.

So I've never used this part of 4chan before but I figured it was better than any other random forum site I could use.
I own a 2006 Honda Accord, 4-Cylinder. Anyway, my car has been having problems starting the past couple months. Sometimes it starts up without a problem, other times it'll be sluggish, and other times it would crank a little and fail to start for a good ten minutes.
It finally shit out on me a couple nights ago, where after a drive to get some groceries I come out to the parking lot to find it wouldn't even attempt to turnover at all. I called a friend over to help me jump the battery as I suspected that was the problem. Didn't work. So I get it towed to a shop and the next day they tell me that the starter was messed up and needed to be replaced. I pay the overpriced fee for it and get the car back today.
The car started faster than it has in a long time, but on the way back to my house I notice the battery light come on. My owners manual tells me that this means the battery is not getting charged with the engine on.
After reading this, I turn around and drive back to the shop. About halfway there all the electronics in my car fail, the radio turns off and all the gauges that measure speed and engine temperature and whatnot go down to 0. At this point I pull over and try restarting my car, only to find myself with the same problem I had before it got towed the other night.
From what little knowledge I have on cars this must mean that my alternator is malfunctioning now too. I'm only worried that this was the problem to begin with and I wasted money on a false diagnosis that the shop gave me.
I got it towed back to the shop and have to wait until the morning to find out what was wrong, I only hope that those morons aren't going to possibly screw me over on more expensive repairs.
Anyone know what could be the problem here???
Some more info:
I bought it used about 3 years ago with 136,000 miles. It's now at about 205,000. I've been working on and off as a delivery driver, about 20 or so hours a week at most for the past year, so the car has been put to some use and I was constantly turning it off and starting it again.
I replaced the battery not too long after I bought the car, around 3 years ago.
The car runs fine otherwise. I punctured the condenser a couple months ago and my A/C has not been working since. Also none of the power windows are operational except for the driver side window. I doubt any of these problems have anything to do with what's currently going on with it though.
First problem sounds like a bad starter. Second problem sounds like a bad alternator. First problem could possibly have been a symptom of the second problem.
They should have checked if your battery was holding a charge and if the alternator was charging your battery the first time you took it to the shop though.
>>17443718
Also, if it isn't your alternator, I'm not sure what it could be. Best of luck to you
/o/ I need help.
Recently I've bought my first vehicle. When I say vehicle, I mean the lowest possible denomination of private transportation. It's a fucking 50cc TaoTao that I got for cheap off of Craigslist. There were a couple of problems I worked my way through on it and now I've got it to start and run very reliably. Thing is, I haven't been able to afford to register it, and the title is still in the previous owner's name. That wouldn't be a problem if I could just not want to take it for residential street rides at 2 a.m. I tell myself I'm just "testing" it when really I'm just riding the fuck out of it on residential street at 2am, which is nice because I have to try hard to even speed.
How can I tell it no, /o/. I hear Florida police pull these scooters over often because they are stolen without titles or registration often, so that's got me paranoid. At the same time it's the first actual vehicle that I've bought and fixed myself. Help me /o/
>>17443493
What do you need help with specifically? You didn't really ask us anything
how much is it to register a scooter in FL?
>>17443499
Irrelevant since he can't register it without a title

Does this count as a pickup truck? Why Tacoma so successful, and yet this looks like a minivan with a pickup bed welded to the ass end?
Looks like a truck to me.
You're probably thinking its a minivan cus it's not a fuckbox huge truck like american trucks or the regular japanese trucks for the american market.
Looks good to me desu, but I like small cars.
>>17443247
>>17443228
Do they make 2-door units with 4wd and a normal-sized bed?
your spoon, my mouth
It's quiet, comfortable, loaded with neat features, gets better gas mileage and will do the job 99.99% of the time. Still going to be outsold 100:1 though since truck dudes comically insecure.
I test drove a new f 150 with no auto start, no blind spot monitoring, 2 doors, no auto climate control, no leather, no bed liner, manual seats, an infotainment screen the size of a postage stamp, gauges that would look outdated 10 years ago and no keyless entry.
Cost? $45,000. What a deal!
