Just got a manual 94 nissan sentra. The car is in good shape and runs fine. The problem is... There's no a.c. and I'm not talking "it needs a recharge" or "the compressor is out" I mean it has nothing. No compressor, no condensor. Nada. I can't find anything online about this model not coming with ac. So I guess the point of this theead is: what are my options? Is there an inexpensive way of keeping my car cool? I live in the deep South so its fucking hot all day.

Put a large container of icewater next to you and stick your hand in it. A lot of your body's heat goes through your hands.
roll down the windows
Get a cool suit.
Why would you buy a Mexican Nissan with no ac if you know it's hot where you live?
>you will never be able to afford a fast car.
why even live? Out of all the possible hobbies I had to be born attracted to this one
>>17468652
You can build a fast car for $30,000.
Buy an old shell like an early 80's Corolla. Swap in a newer engine that punches out 300-400hp, then scour e-Bay and Craigslist for second hand parts like coilovers, wheels, etc.

People make their own cars all the time, bro.
>>17468663
>$30,000
Did you accidentally add an extra zero?
>>17468663
The upkeep on that sounds expensive.
I'll start
>hurr durr drivetrain layout has nothing to do with luxury
>t. Audi shill
>Hurr durr muh turbo V6 is less heavy than your heavy ass V8 and therefore better for track purposes
>>17468606
holy shit that one always gets me
as if the only thing impacting weight was the engine
I'm guilty of falling for that meme when I played World of Tanks some time ago though, I'd literally do power/weight ratio without taking into account that it's the total weight of the vehicle that matters. Then I realized how stupid I was.
>hurr durr the Giulia Quadrifoglio that got the Nürburgring record wasn't stock
Nevermind that it didn't even have a rollcage like the Panamera Turbo
90k miles 2002 Z28. Its auto but man its still fast as fuck and has that beautiful LS1 growl.
Tell me I wont /o/. Any fbody owners in here can tell me what im in for? This will be my daily and it seems like the engines go past 150k miles easy. And the Auto is fine. Paint has a bit of fade but its worth it.
>GM
I would preffer not to

You better be able to work on your car every week
>>17468263
>dumbass

That's if he wants to build it

Eh it's alright I guess. These cars are pretty reliable and still pretty quick. Price seems alright but it's an auto
That should be your main gripe
Hey /o/, /k/ommando here.
I'm looking to put a cold air intake on my 1995 c1500 5.7l Silverado. While searching around I've found some for my truck, but for some reason they're 300+ dollars. But then I've found some for a 1996 c1500 5.7l silverado and they're $150. Am I just getting meme'd on here, or is there a large difference in the engine between these years that'd prevent me from getting the cheaper one?
95 is pre vortec the 96 is probably the vortec but this is all a non issue because the stock air box is the best cold air intake you can get just get a spectre drop in and you can't beat the setup and the do ins are like 35 dollars
>>17468275
The stock one isn't on there anymore, its been replaced by an open air cleaner. Pic related. (It isn't mine.)
Which is why I was just going to go to a old air intake.
>>17468307
in that case you can use a hood scoop
If I see a car like mine in a parking lot, I always park next to it. Is this autism?
Also, does anyone else do this?

If I see a car like mine in a parking lot, I always key it.

I just bought a civic type R for 52k after the dealer mark up. Its my dream car so didn't mind paying alittle more. Haters/poor people welcome to comment lol
>>17467753
This now faces of /o/ thread now
>paying $52k
>for a fucking Civic
This has to be b8
>>17467753
>I just bought a civic type R for 52k after the dealer mark up.
For $10k more you could have gotten an M2
or you could have gotten a used 997 911 turbo
or a slightly used gt350
When a eurofag says he's gonna by a pick up truck.
>unibody
Haram
This looks like a shoop. Is it?
>>17467665
When a eurofag says he's gonna buy a pickup truck, it's pretty much always a pure work vehicle like pic related.
That's how you cook a fucking steak you fucking barbarians edition.

Do you slam on the break and than give gas again??
That was interesting, any details on the suspension setup?
Was that a lexus?
now do it in a godess
I need that shit in my getaway car for hopping over spike strips
Fuck guys, I'm nervous. Last night it was pouring and I accidentally drove into a puddle. My car immediately slowed down and made a huge splash. Today when I was going to KFC for the $5 fill up box meal, I heard a rattling noise as if something underneath my car was scraping on the pavement but nothing is hanging off.
nice try KFC shill

Does the Ford gt even have any track times out? Or is op just being an edgy retard
Hey /o/ my strict dad thinks I'm a trouble maker when I'm not and thinks it's justified to put the Verizon HUM / car tracker on my vehicle, is there any way I can talk him out of it ? I even showed videos of how it can actually ruin the car and why it's bad, he also uses the "muh living under muh roof" excuse
>>17466906
If he's paying for the car and the gas, it's his car and he can do with it as he pleases. Ride the bus or raise the money to buy your own car. If he insists on doing it to your car, then he's being a dick.
>>17466962
Yeah he's going to be doing it on my car
>>17466975
Who's paying for the gas and insurance? Is the title in your name?
/o/s opinion on the Aston Martin Cygnet?
>>17466873
I fucking want one desu
It's an amazing machine.
I drove the Scion iQ version, it was pretty good. I can't imagine this would be anything but better, having a real interior instead the cheapest shitbox interior.
Just have to make sure it doesn't have the fedora spoiler.
>keep hearing about how gas is super cheap
>(((gas companies))) keep raising the markup for premium so it stays at 3.50 a gallon
>3.50 a gallon
where is this
>>17466835
It's like $2.10 in the midwest. What cucked state do you live in? People's republic of California or Jew York?
I've been paying between $2.00 and $2.10 for over a year now, where the fuck do you live?
