Can someone explain to me how C&D got the STI to go from 0-100 in 11.7 seconds, and the RS from 0-100 in 13.0 seconds?

Having an existential crisis about cars - not sure what I will be happiest with.
Narrowed it down to a few I might like:
>new(ish) WRX
Would be fun to drive, might might get tired of the lack of refinement
>slightly used Lexus IS
Would be comfy, have some luxury and pep but not the same raw experience as the wrx
>Tesla model 3
Already have a reservation for this.
I'm assuming it would be a great daily, cheaper to charge than gas and tons of torque. Downside is that everything is controlled by Tesla and can't even use flappy paddles
Should I wait for the Tesla? Should I get one of the others? I am really afraid of getting tired of a car and wanting to sell it.

I was a professional mechanic for about 8 years, doing mostly diagnostic work.
When I quit the trade I sold of my Solus (Fap-Off) Scanner.
My cars all haven't given me a quirk until now, I've got a MIL on in my Mazda.
I don't want just a code reader, I want to be able to pull and ideally graph data the same as my old Solus did.
Which USB/Bluetooth readers atleast let me see real data like Fuel Trims, MAP/MAF values, ECT, IAT, Throttle and Pedal Position, ect...?

Need a new SUV.
