any bros here just drain their oil direct from the engine into the street and into the storm drain?
its so much fucking better than collecting that black shit and hauling it somewhere.
seriously, fuck that

Bronco always was the higher end wrangler.
Calling it now:
$29,999 base model with open front and rear diffs, N/A V6, cloth seats, "removable" hard top, halogen lights, 6-speed manual. cruise control optional.
$54,999 Eddie Bauer edition, electronic locking front and rear diffs, ecoboost V6, leather everywhere, 4g hotspot, all LED lighting, 10 speed auto-tragic standard, hill descent control, "rock crawl" mode, automatic driving tech included.
Oh and possibly your warranty is void if driven offroad.
What does /o/ think of car wash oil changes? I think they're scams personally but I'd like to hear opinions

So I was driving my friends car while he was sitting in it and I hit a pole and caused damage similar to pic related, neither of us has insurance and he wants me to pay for the damage but I can't afford to.
What can I do? I'm in Aus
>>17507817
Kek why and how did you hit a pole?
Get a job, or work harder if you already have one
>>17507817
>What can I do?
Be a miserable asshole and lose your friend over your own dumbness.
>>17507817
Just tell the government that your car has a pre existing condition and it's not your fault you don't have insurance.
Get the taxpayers to pay for it.
I have a choice between a new 2017 honda civic sport hatch or a 2014 mustang. Which should i get?
Tell mom you want both because you'll crash one right away and need another.
Mustang if you can afford the v8, civic if you can't.
>>17507502
Why are those your only 2 options. I take it youre from another board.
My 92 Cadillac DeVille's 4.9 isn't what it used to be. How hard would it be to transplant an LS into the body and swap the tranny out for a standard shift?
If not the LS, then what would be a good block?
>>17507299
you could get a faster more reliable car for less money it would take to do that, unless your a mechanic
>>17507441
I want to perform an engine swap in my car. I like my car. Your answer means nothing to me.
>>17507299
>transplant an LS
You'd be looking at a 2008 or so Impala SS swap since it's the only FWD LS install GM did.
>manual
Virtually unpossible. I suppose you could bodge it together using a transaxle from a Cavalier or something and make some adapter abortion to mate that to the LS engine but the durability wouldn't even be as good as the already abysmal 4T65E imo. The clutch pedal assembly would be completely custom work.
Alternatively you could fire up the sawzall and cut in a trans tunnel to make the thing RWD but there's not enough engine compartment depth for that so you'll have to cut into the firewall and that'll completely fuck the hvac system. A straight rear axle would be easiest to do though I suppose you could use an IRS set up from something like a MN12/FN10 Ford or maybe a 03-04 Cobra set up.
Waaay more effort than it would ever be worth.
After watching Ronin and the Transporter movies/TV show all of my hooligan dreams involve an AWD Audi. Has anyone owned/drove one? I wanna hear some opinions on D2s vs D3s

Ive had an A3 and RS5, liked both a lot
No idea wtf u mean by D2s, google shows something about headlights

Is that just a headlight & Silvia hood swap? Those somewhat hidden headlamps are sexy.
So i am 18 and got a 2015 corolla s with 10k miles on it, but my parents and I both want to have a fun/sports car in the family. they said i can get one in 4 months and that i will have to pay for it. I am considering a 1994-2008 miata, or a 05-13 WRX (preferably the wagon, i love the look on those.) Which one is better for a reliable, but fun car?
Get the new Honda civic si coupe.. IS new an option?
>>17507154
The wrx would be more reliable imo
Not really because my price range is around 15,000. An older SI is definitely possible (like a 2012 or 2014.) The only brand new car i can convice my parents to let me get is a fiat abarth which i also adore. (20k for a new one)
I want to show the import boys that a corvette can look just as dope as a civic but I can't find any suspension kits to add extreme camber to my c4.

My local car wash is offering unlimited washes of their highest tier wash for $20 a month. It's right next to my house and basically on the way to everything so I'm debating trying it out and using it daily. It's a tunnel wash but it's brand new and fancy as fuck.
I know hand wash is better but this seems way too convenient. My question is, is washing it that frequently bad for the scotchgard clear coat or anything else?
>>17506896
>highest tier wash for $20 a month
+doubt
>>17506896
Probably yes.
If its a shitbox though that you really don't see yourself hanging on to long term then it probably would be worth it.
>>17506910
Same, but I tried it out at the regular per wash price of $13 and it wasn't bad at all. Used like 5-6 different types of foam, like 10 different brushes and a lot of power washing. Includes polish, sealer wax and weather guard wax, blow dry and towel dry. Also power washes wheels, wells, and underside.
