Anons, I'm torn between getting the Impreza WRX Wagon or the Sedan and I need advice on which one to get.
Wagon:
>more on the market so I can get one pretty much immediately and have a good choice of them
>cheaper
>actually looks decent
>lots of space inside for carrying shit
>bigger, so harder to park in crowded areas, especially yuro cities
Sedan:
>looks way cooler
>smaller so probably less weight so a bit faster I guess
>easier to park
>better car for a young guy without a large family (me)
>less of them on the market, so not as many choices
>more expensive but should also sell better later
What do? Take the wagon as it is out there or wait for a sedan?
>>17531579
Alternatively:
>better respected
>faster and N/A
>unlimited internet/part support
>comfier
>can handle gear abuse better
>>17531579
Neither. Get something actually good.
>>17531607
>non-AWD
I want AWD.
What the fuck?
they looked like shit back then too
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
>>17531534
2 out of the 6 you posted are pony cars and 1 is a sports car.
modern "GTO" wasn't a muscle car nor was it intended to revive the Judge. it was using the name to market what would otherwise be an unknown care in the states.

They persist trying harder to mimic "modern" shits or German-wannabe
Where is my slow fat land yatch with a plush couch?

Pressure washer then spray it with soapy foam then rinse it off?
Acid
>>17531460
This pretty much, a lot of pressure washers have have soap nozzles and mixtures you can put in as well that help.

Let's talk about Uber (and other car hailing service). Anyone here an uber driver? What kind of car you're using and how's the pay?
>>17531071
the pay is less than minimum wage after you factor in insurance and wear and tear on the car.
You destroy your car, have to deal with trashy people sitting in your car, you have to do your own taxes, your insurance will disown you if they found out.
>>17531165
>and wear and tear on the car.
Don't they provide cars?
so my gfs dad has a clean e30 325is with a busted auto trans, roughly how much do you think I'd have to put in to it to swap it over to a manual?

Cleaning is usually a feminine thing to do, but when it comes to cleaning a car, its like some kind of ritual.
Usually people just buy cheap products from Walmart to clean things around the house. But when it comes to cars, people buy designer chemicals and other expensive cleaning products, they usually buy tons of useless products they don't need like super expensive wheel cleaners, claybar lube, leather cleaners and conditioners and microfiber detergent.
Cleaning is usually a hated chore, but when it comes to cleaning cars, it's like sex
>>17530939
>claybar
>useless
enjoy your paint feeling like sandpaper
>>17530939
It's relaxing and people like taking care of one of their most expensive possessions.
>>17530939
half the expensive cleaners are also sold at walmart
Fuck the guy that told me to watch this trash.

why didn't you like it anon?

it's full of cliche millenial hipster garbage and watching the main character was like draping a wet, oily rag on my face. the parts with literally anyone else on screen was fine though
I haven't seen it yet, but that waitress girl in the trailer redirected my blood flow in roughly 1.9 seconds. 10/10
/o/ I have an interesting question(s). Will the RX7 FD ever appreciate in value? And if so when? Or will it depreciate. Is right now the perfect time to buy one? Your average FD goes for around 13k Leafbucks right now with 10k and sometimes 20 exceptions. A pristine or special anniversary edition models go for more usually.
They'll see some drop in price once the JDMs become US legal. But if you keep yours pristine and running for the next fifty years or so, it should appreciate by then.
It will stay right around it's current price for at least 10 years. Maybe go up $5k or so to match general inflation. Nothing to sweat over or consider buying as an investment.
i would say one with a good engine is. say a pineapple single turbo with cooling system upgrades. the stock is terrible. pic related. full of blunders
Anyone ever buy a seized/impounded car at auction? There's a police auction near me next week. They have both ex-police Crown Vics and also some nicer cars like Mustangs and SUV's. Seized from drug busts mostly. Just wondering if anyone has an idea what to expect.
When poice have public auctions they do not maintain nor clean any cars on the lot for that day. So you literally get whatever condition the car was in when it was siezed, meaning usually shitty condition for it to need justification for taking. The "super clean drug bust cars", are a meme. Usually you get shitty camry's and downtrodden crown vic's.
I only go to them if I happen to see it when I'm out and only just for novelty and never with the intent to actually buy a car. The types of people to expect are older mechanic types running their own cash for clunkers business or the occasional grandpa with a fat wallet looking for another car to add to his collection. Don't expect much unless you live in a rich area where the car's are from a wealthier base income such as Miami or LA because usually those are the stolen nicer cars but usually run higher on the auction floor.
t. Uncle owned his own garage and would buy cars to flip and I'd go along sometimes because he let me clean the cars out and let me keep whatever I found. The coolest or most interesting thing I ever found was a Soldier of Fortune magazine and a fuckton of loose change.
>>17530433
My brother went to one a couple weeks ago.
He bought a 2002 Integra, 1998 Lincoln Navigator, 2004 Pontiac Sunfire, and one other shitbox that I can't remember.
He paid $1,200 for all 4 cars.
They are all sold now and his pockets are happy.
>>17530491
Correction - 1998 Integra/2002 Navigator
Thinking of buying one in the very near future. Only question is should I turbo it, supercharge it, or leave it stock?
Are you flat-out retarded?
>>17530421
Drive on right side of road: turbo
Drive on left side: supercharge
Something about the steering column.
>>17530540
Yes.
