/o/ wouldn't drive. They would be too poor to afford cars back them. Also all cars back then were basically crossovers. The sedan as we know it really wasn't a thing until the 1950s

Hey, do you guys wanna help me work on my bike?

I got this Yamaha xs 650 about a year ago and it's definitely a bit of a project.

Today though all I'm trying to do is get it running after a long sit all winter, and change the rear break pads.

I am letting it trickle charge, and while I wait I was hoping if one of you could tell me where to start with the breaks, picture pending.

Looking for my next car, is there anything that's comfy, take more than 2 adults, and okay to drive, but will actually go around corners?

Any retard can buy a modern german saloon and floor it on the highway
I want something that can eat them on a country road/too-gay and requires actual driving ability

Picture sort of related, except the Cosworth 2.5 wasn't actually that quick

Read: I can't afford a modern fast car like my wealthier, more successful peers. Please help me find an cheap, ancient beater that can do everything a modern german saloon can but but better so i can live out my vain dagumi fantasies of impressing them with my sick driving skillz.

Just had a letter come through for a fixed penalty notice, I've already sent the appeal through on why it was a harsh decision which it was, Traffic was moving freely on the approach to a box junction then the lights must have changed causing a queue by this time I'm already stuck in the box junction causing me to pick up a £130 fine, I'm curious though should I have to pay this fine is there anything about paying the full £130 in 1/2p coins just to be a dick? Is it allowed?

Items of quality are never cheap. You get what you pay for.

>>
>>17557693
Because you're too young to realise you're paying for the brand.
>>
>>17557693
because they are high quality

Why do you think companies like DND, NRG, and Grip Royal are so cheap? lol

anyways there are plenty of other options if you want a deep dish steering wheel.

It sounds like you should be buying them used as you can get them for slightly cheaper

Porsche is a legendary brand for performance cars. Now they just want to make as many money as possible with SUVs and some kind of wagons for rich normier and chinks

Cafe racer hate is retarded.

I like the style of Harleys and Indians particularly bobbers and and frisco choppers.

I also like something that is fun to ride in the hills.

Cafe racers are the perfect compromise between the two things.

I'm looking to get a beginner drift car to learn some car control past the limit.

I built up my current car (96 del sol) so that it hauls ass in a straight line, but its powerband is useless anywhere except the freeway.

There's a huge tax on the "traditional" drift cars (240sx, Tofu machine, etc), but I feel like there are plenty of cheaper options that would be just fine for learning. Long wheel base and a decent amount of torque seem like they would be good.

I've got a little experience now and can stomach some modifications as needed.

What does /o/ suggest?

Any thoughts on pic related? or is the suspension too much of a marshmallow to be useable?

Any BMW and if you live in the US, any Mustang will do.

BMW E36 is extremely popular. You can give the old Mercedeses a shot too.

And then there's Ford Scorpio and Sierra but finding one in a decent condition is nearly impossible these days.

Where do you think the electricity comes from?...
thats right, coal fired power stations.
And how much spare power do you think most countries have?
thats right, none.
If everyone drove an electric car that just means more coal power stations to power the cars and i get a feeling that as dirty as petrol is it is still cleaner than burning brown coal....

Or do leftist idiots actually think the entire world runs on solar power and there is an unlimited supply of energy or something?

Seriously America uses 115% of it's power meaning they have to import power from other countries and that is without every single car on the road there being electric....
and you just want everyone to start driving an electric car?

Get real m8.

>Jeep could be better off without Fiat Chrysler (FCA-IT), according to a note from one Wall Street analyst.

>Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas issued a research note Monday that walks through a sum-of-the-parts analysis that suggests Jeep is worth more than Fiat Chrysler. The analysis puts Jeep's value at 120 percent of Fiat Chrysler's market capitalization.

>The iconic off-road vehicle brand alone could account for nearly half of all Fiat Chrysler's sales by 2018, Jonas said.

>At the moment, Fiat management has not publicly discussed any plans to spin off the brand. However, on an earnings call in April Jonas asked Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne if he would consider spinning off both the Jeep and Ram brands. Marchionne simply said "yes."

>Such a deal might be similar to Fiat's spinoff of its high-end Ferrari brand in late 2015 and early 2016.

Can we discuss new cars? 2015 through present, even future models.

It's a pretty dismal market right now. It feels like the options are either a truck, a hatchback, a 50k german sedan, or one of endless list of identical round crossovers. Does anyone else get the feeling that the auto market's decline will lead to an ego death of unique cars? Or do you think that approaching singularity will make companies push out truly inspired models?

What are the standards you look for in a car, and can you think of any new models that meet those standards well enough?
