Be honest, how clean are your wheels right now?
Why are you letting the brake dust destroy their finish?

Is this car worth 3k?
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Equinox
Style: LS 4DR SUV FWD A5
Engine: 3.4L Gasoline V6
It has 94k miles on it, and the oil hasn't been changed in a year. Oil looked thick and was really low. Took it for a test drive it had a rough start and a quiet scraping noise coming from the left side when driving slow. The owner said they only drive it about a couple times a week to get groceries and go to church(there my aunts two retired neighbors).
The doors only unlock automatically sometimes from the key and never from the door. The brake light is almost falling out/loose. There are some small dents/scratches and a couple big ones along with paint chipping.
Are these problems easy to fix? Are there scratches and dents fixable?
Here's the VIN if anyone could run a search

>>17574535
no. get a clean civic for 3k. even with double the mileage its a better car.
>>17574546
Im trying to buy a car from someone I know considering I don't know shit about cars.
My friend is selling his 09 ford fusion sel with 125k miles on it for $4000. would that be a better deal?
Thinking about joining the two-wheeler club? Must enjoy zipping from A to B and ridin' free.

>tfw too poor to afford a bike, MSF course, AND gear

>>17574951
Isn't gear required for the MSF course?
>buying a used corolla from a toyta dealership
>tell them i want to take the car to an motor association recommended mechanic for an inspection
>Dealer offers to take the car to the mechanic for me
>All I have to do is book the appointment and pay the inspection fee myself
Should I take them up on the offer? It smells fishy to me, but then I wouldn't have to take time off of work
Maybe they understand why you'd want to do that and have nothing to hide.
>>17574428
Or maybe the mechanics are getting kickbacks from the dealer
You realize you have to pay for an inspection right? Fucking Jew. Get a real car.
Dear /o/,
I am the owner of a nearly built 280z 2+2 (yes I know shame me for getting the longer car if you want but I like it) either way I am looking to replace the seats since the car came with some cheap sparco ones that I couldn't stand. Here is the dilemma:
Which seats will actually fit? and of those seats which one is ({[BEST]})
This is objective of course, but here's what I'm looking for
1) Leather
2) Heated
3) Power
Any ideas?
TL;DR What car should I steal seats out of for my datsun?
>>17574358
>1) Leather
>2) Heated
>3) Power
in an old shitbox? nigger, are you retarded? you bought the wrong car.
Best bet would probably be some 2000s Lexus or Toyota.

Sorry I made a thread a couple days ago but now the car came back and I know more info. If not, Ill just send it to a repair shop to look at but figured I'd try here one more time
I have a S63 with completely fine interior, exterior, etc
Only thing not working is the engine because it died after being driven in a very large puddle (didn't touch body of the car though, was not *that* high)
All the electronics work. However, they only worked when I charged the battery. I left it overnight to charge and it didn't work. I'm thinking I didn't give it enough charge so I'm leaving it overnight again.
If it doesnt work tomorrow then I know the battery needs replaced and if I get a miracle the car will start and I will own an S63. But I need advice as to what to do if it doesn't.
Also note the air suspension isnt working and car is sitting very low but hoping that is just because battery has been dead, and also some of the airbags and shit have been torn apart to get to the engine but I dont think that effects the car not turning on?
Need as much help as can get as wtf to do with as little $ as possible
>>wtf to do with as little $ as possible
You stupid fuck, you have a dead S63 and you don't know how or have the connections to re-jigger it yourself. By the time you're done you may as well have bought a working S63, jesus christ.
Which s63?
>>17573778
do you know what it costs to do a full engine replacement? go on buddy, take a guess
yeah, you have no clue. and judging the amount of water its in, the problem is probably much less complicated than that
best reliable head units under $30?
looking for something to throw in an old shitbox with only mild speaker upgrades
so 4 channel with 100-200 watts is fine
Bonus points: double din
also audi/o/ general, ask your vehicular audio questions here
>>17573529
> Under $30
That's like impossible.

That's probably not possible. Do you really need a head unit? A phone and a amp does everything better For $30 you can get a decent use 4 channel amp and a 3.5 to rca cable. Add in a bluetooth receiver if you want to get fancy.
I wanna see what you guys think of my car. Had it for just over a year now and I fucking love it.
It's slowbro
>>17573423
That's a nice car anon! I'll be buying an early CRZ for dirt cheap soon
>>17573479
Agreed, it's more suited to nice handling and excellent fuel economy but that's what just a couple of the things I love about it!
>>17573489
Thanks! If I were to make a recommendation though, try and get a 2013 model or above. They're a little more powerful and have subtle differences in styling which make them better looking that the earlier ones, at least IMO.
I looked up my car through Carfax and checked out the maintenance schedule. Does anyone know what the hell lubicate driveshaft u joint means? Apparently my car requires it every oil change. I looked up a video, looks pretty tricky. Am I just better off taking it to a shop and letting them do it? How much does that even cost with a 5k oil change?
usually good practice to lube them every so often. go underneath your vehicle and have a look at the u-joints yourself, might not be so bad
Sauce on that delicious fire crotch gril?
>>17573393
What kind of vehicle dicknose
Probably Toyota
Gonna test drive an 09' Corolla CE in an hour.
Anything I should look out for in particular?
I'm going to get a mechanic to look at it for sure, but I don't want to get jewed
