Colorado.
It contains most of the proving grounds automotive companies use, tech hub is pretty big, lots of manufacturing in Denver, many people moving in from everywhere, and lots STEM schools/graduates.
I would hate it since it would only bring more people here, but it's an honest answer.

So i decided i want to be a nigger and install subwoofers on my 07 avalanche
Now my truck has the stock GPS screen stereo which i really like and dont want to get rid of, but a dude told me if i want subs im going to have to get an aftermarket headunit
So my question is, can i install subs and keep my stock stereo, and if i can will the bass be severely hindered?

you are given a complete stock roadster with an inline 4 engine doing slightly below 200HP, a 240kph/150mph topspeed thanks to a retardedly long 5th gear, manual obviously and a rather stiff suspension
what do you do and in which order, to get your ride ready for the racetrack? rule: "realistic" modding eg. no fucking 6L V8 engine swap (neither would it fit nor would the transmission survive it)
i thought something like this in order of most important to least:
1. tires
2. coilovers(?)
3. replace entire exhaust system
4. cold air intake
5. ECU reprogramming
6. ???
add to the list and swap things around
random unrelated miata because it is the first thing that comes up if you google roadsters

I use supertech in my shitboxes, rotella T6 in anything that's high performance, dirt bikes etc
IIRC it's made by mobil for walmart, it has ASE certs, and it costs 12 dollars for 5 quarts, what's not to like?
I don't even change my oil filter every time, last one I waited two changes before putting a fresh filter on lol.
I also go about 7-8k miles on non-synthetic usually.

Hey /o/,
I have way too much money into this car with little to show for it, and I'm thinking my only chance to get rid of it and recoup some of my losses is to overhaul the exterior and swap in a better engine.
I'm looking for ideas for paint colors/styles, as well as engine swap ideas. I'm in CA, so any swap I do needs to be from a car sold in the US, newer than 1980, with smog equipment intact. My buddy proposed a 3SGE swap, but I think I'll have better luck with another Nissan motor and trans. I want to keep it RWD if possible.
Wat do?

Sounds similar to VR38DETT without the turbo spool once it has been decatted
Probably not practical with a budget in mind but would modernize the shit out of your datsun
