Find a community college or specialist 'school' that can get you a CDL, either finance it or pay out of pocket, then get on board at a company that offers tuition reimbursement.
Stick out your two years in the meat grinder to pay your dues, then decide once you're debt free whether or not you want to stick around.
There are also companies that will train you in exchange for you signing a (typically) 2-year contract, and while these are generally regarded as a total shitfest, it's not the worst thing in the world if that is your only option.
That said, aim for a recognizable company - Swift, Prime, and Schneider all get a lot of flak for being 'puppy mill' companies, but the true shitters are companies like CR England, CRST, and a handful of others that aren't coming to mind.
Nine times out of ten, a smaller, locally-owned-and-operated 'Mom and Pop' company will be your best bet.

What makes them different?
What are the advantages and disadvantages to both of these?
Thank You

How does it feel buying a new car? How does it feel that every minute that goes by your car is devaluating? How does it feel being a complete bitch ass cuck in a "NEW CAR"
>>17876817
You sound kind of upset. Did you just buy a new car?
Don't worry, all cars "devaluate", some just faster than others.
>>17876817

Lol
Haven't been snowmobiling in a while but I used to do drag races and trail rides and general fuckery with hill climbing and playing in powder.
Ridden a Yamaha Enticer 300, an Arctic Cat 550, and a beastly Yamaha Viper 700 that I hit 100 mph on.
anyone else think cash for clunkers was somewhat a good thing?
it helped get rid of all the rusted out gm, ford and chrysler products that people just didnt care for and neglected that would just flood the used market
without it, craigslist would just be flooded with rotted away cars, it was pretty much a necessary evil
even if they werent rusty most of the cars traded in were garbage

looking to buy on for 4100 from a dealer, is it a quality car in your opinion or no, carfax down below
https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistory/p/Report.cfx?vin=5N1ED28T84C671968&csearch=0&partner=GAZ_0
used to have an 00 4x4 5 speed that had 138k for 5k. only issues I had were the fuel sender crapped out the next day (recalled issue, dealer towed it and paid for the fix) and 2 years later the distributor died (another recalled issue, replaced it with a $60 chingchong one and it worked great). other than that great car, never let me down even at -30... until my wife crashed it.

Sup /o/, I need some help. tl;dr: My lesbian moms who live in another state want to give me their car. My registration renewal for my current car is at the end of this month. I'm supposed to fly there in about two weeks and drive it back. What steps do I need to take to drive the vehicle back legally? Can I transfer my existing insurance? Do I need to renew my current vehicle registration if I plan on selling it?
I didn't have a daddy to teach me these things. :(
Google. We have no idea what state your in or going to, but don't respond just Google it.
You will need new insurance for the new (to you) car. Your existing policy will be updated to reflect that.
>Do I need to renew my current vehicle registration if I plan on selling it?
Depending on where you live, you might not need to but again depending on where you live, you might have an easier time selling it if the registration is current
>>17876435
This. Depending on the state there can be different registration procedures.
Some states you even have to pay tax based on book value (not transfer value) of the car. All depends.
Any 406 /o/tists out there? Preferably from Billings?
The car scene is kind of shit out here. Looking to go on a cruise or something.

Very much so. I'm from the San Fernando Valley area and I kind of hate it here. I want to move but I live with my parents and don't have much money at the moment. Shit driving roads, shit car culture, shit winter, etc. Fuck me

How the fuck is one supposed to carry 4 wheels inside a Fiesta without having the wheels roll everywhere and fuck up the car's body?
I was thinking piling two wheels on each side of the rear seats and having a friend sit in the middle holding them.
Other alternative would be getting rid of the spare wheel, getting one of the wheels in there and asking three friends to hold a wheel each.
Another one would be securing each of the three wheels with a seatbelt and the fourth on the spare wheel well.
Use a small trailer. People who daily their track cars do this
>>17876368
That would involve getting a hitch on the car and renting a trailer. And it would only be a one time thing.
>>17876360
Ratchet straps.
