I'm sure you guys are familiar with what these guys are trying to do. Would you pay $5k for a CAS system?
A crank angle sensor? No thanks
From squinting at the decal it seems to be "compressed air supercharger". I can put a 100# wet shot of nitrous on my shit for $500 so I'm going to go with "What? No. Why?"
Your intellectual expose makes it impossible to not discern that you have a post doctoral understanding of combustion, fluid mechanics and Newtonian physics. I stand in awe...
Munch.
>buy car

Did you have your eyes closed when you bought it or something?
>>17542035
maybe, i was excited to get rid of my old shitbox
pretty sure i ruined the hood + bumper on my own tho
>used
>2012
>buy pic related, but it was all stock jdm
>spend literally $17k on it on aftermarket goodies/upgraded internals/machine work/standalone ecu/manifold and turbo/injectors/other racing parts
>get it all mounted in the car
>20fucking17
>it's still just sitting outside with a tarp over it
>never been started or even turned over
>still needs a custom wiring harness and a bunch of other little bullshit
>lost motivation to finish it
>moved on to other projects over the years
Fuck me. I need some inspiration to drag this thing back in the shop and complete it before it starts rusting away outside. It's sickening to think that 5 years have gone by and I still haven't heard I run.
I doubt anyone here has done something more stupid with their hard-earned money than I did
>>17541519
You installed the engine into the car without first checking to see if it'd run? Boy that's risky. You must not mind taking engines out
>>17541519
That sounds like A LOT of money spent on a 2jz. What were you even trying to do with it?
>>17541519
Sell it as a project for $40k+.
Hey /o/
I noticed the diff cover on my 84 C1500 had an impact at the bottom and was dripping during a weekend trip. I decided to take the diff cover off and change the fluid and noticed the breather was missing. Does this fluid look okay? Also, as a bonus, can anyone help me identify this axle? I don't think its a Dana axle but that would just be my uneducated guess.
I fear water has entered the differential through the missing breather
The fluid does lookreally thin. Re grease it and get yourself a breather
Should I keep my land barge or sell it and get something sportier? If so whays something decent within 7k?shit box.
Current land barge has 220k miles. Looks decent as in pic besides the missing front grille and plastic chin. Dont have a pic on file.

Keep the burb and fix it up. They're always useful and fairly comfy. Buy a miata or something as a second fun car.
keep till it dies
>>17541466
Definitely get a new one. New cars are faster, more fuel-efficient, more practical, more fun to drive, and much, much safer.
Post your i5! Cars that you currently own or have owned in the past.
>>17541456
I used to have a 1998 volvo s70 which had the i5. It was the comfiest car i've ever owned.

Well there's your problem
How much would you pay for this mustang? It has super low miles but it's old and has shitty paint. No rust though. I'm thinking like 5k would that be a good deal? https://muskegon.craigslist.org/cto/d/ford-mustang-gt/6203853333.html
>>17541353
>automatic 2v
$1500, and I'd probably only use it as a spare parts car
>>17541353
Not really a car you need to get with such low miles, plenty with clean paint and interior with higher miles for a much lower price
you'd honestly have more fun in a P71 since it's auto
>muh matching vape
Mileage is a meme, get a cheaper one.
>tfw i either turn too slow or too fast

It's an oversized clit. Geez.
Holy fuck, now I finally understand first hand why dryrotted tires are bad. And it wasn't even on the ground, the car was on jackstands when it just popped in the sun and shredded itself!
>>17541178
cool story OP.
The dryrot cracks wasn't just on the outside btw, it had spread into the inner tire. What I don't get is how it just popped only two weeks after I put the car on jack stands when it had spent months on the ground supporting the car's full weight.
>>17541213
Coincidental.
I once had a wheel bearing that gave no indication of failing totally size after changing a tire.
The only new car of 2017 with an exhaust note worth taking notice of.
No other car company even tries.

Its a shaft with cams on it. How is it a buzzword?
stuck on the side of the road typing this right now
I just mashed my heel into the brake at the red light when I was fidgeting and I heard a "click". Now the brake doesn't brake unless I push it in all the way and even then it's kinda weak.
Brake fluid level is at half so I think I either sprung a leak or have an air bubble. Refilled it with 75 w 90 gear oil as that's the only thing I have - I don't remember the last time it was topped up. Going to drive it home now and triple my braking distance.
Is it a leak or air bubble?
get a tow before you kill someone retard

I'm really hoping somebody out there has thought to scan it, it would be a big help.
What's the consensus on the new Honda Civic?
