>inb4 twingo
>>17565776
I don't know but it looks pretty content with life
Can somebody ID this Lancia?
>inb4: Fiat with a body kit.
>>17564949
Looks like an Appia GTE Zagato
>>17565040
>Appia GTE Zagato
I think you my be correct.
It seems to have lost the headlight covers. It does have the V4.

isnt the whole appeal of the G class the fact that it has the old fashioned boxy suv look?
Why haven't you flooded your car with X-tra strong black ice yet?
Why do you just use your pussy regular version?
A friend sent this to me last night and kind of bragged that the car was something special. True or bullshit?
its a basic modern shitbox
>push start
>radio
>climate control
This is standard on all modern cars
Thanks... Any clue what kind of moden shitbox though? Make or model or whatever?
Why did car manufacturers stop including useful gauges with their cars? I can't tell you how fucking helpful a battery voltage gauge would have been a few months ago when my alternator was dying
Sometimes that shit is still there but it's just hidden
I'm not sure how you would use an oil pressure gauge?
>Why did car manufacturers stop including useful gauges with their cars?
when people started taking their cars into the dealership to complain about low oil pressure at a stop light.
I've got some budding clear coat issues, pic related. Anyone know any good solutions?
>>17564444
Had this issue and fixed it with some egg mixed with flower. Put on the spots and it will start fading the colors around it into the spots. Let it sit for 1 day and remove it with water.

I'm trying to fix paint not bake a cake on my roof

There's a videogame general so I'd figure I could make a diecast general.
/toy/ is shit and very VERY autistic in the diecast thread, I'm sure some of you like them little cars as well.
I mainly collect 1/64 which is more or less HotWheels size.
Some brands:
>Hot Wheels
Great resistance to wear and beatings, lowest detail, thick paintjobs, some neat designs, still desirable
>Matchbox
More realism and better proportions, pretty much like HotWheels but much smaller with much less different product lines
>Greenlight
Chink brand that makes great things, all metal. Quality control is all over the place. Buy in person. Very fragile, the wheels tend to break easily under pressure. Tons of movie cars
>Johnny Lightning
Less detailed than Greenlight but still desirable. Great colors and some crazy models. Casting quality depends on the car. Company has gone through tons of different owners.
>M2 Machines
Castings depend on car, quality not as sharp but they have the best proportions. Plastic underside. You can easily disassemble them, which is a bonus for customs.
>Kyosho
Top tier branch but prices are a mess, they depend on the model and availability. They sometimes may not roll. Quality of casting depends largely on the model
>Tomica
Shit tier jap brand with shitty wheels, mode oriented for kids
>Tomica Limited
The absolute best when it comes to detail, mostly vintage japanese cars
>Siku
Shit tier, but somehow popular
>Majorette
Medium tier, on par with basic HotWheels. They proportions are usually shit
>Autoworld
Top tier proportions and scale, wheels are a bit sketchy. Full metal. Overall one of the best, but they make mostly older american cars.
>Maisto
Dogshit tier, they dont even have interiors
>Welly
Less known chinkshit brand that is dirt cheap and actually top tier. Rubber tiers and great proportions for the price of dirt
HotWheels is probably the most extended, and although their basic models are dogshit, their premium models can be great.
For example some racecars they have. Realistic concepts of things that dont exist.
Like what if you riced up a Chevelle to modern spec racing, with fenders, canards, lowered suspension, widened axles, front spoiler etc...
The HotWheels Racing and HotWheels Vintage Racing are 10/10
Fagnus Fuckner also licensed some HotWheels recently
>surely making this hat visible in my shitbox window will prevent me from being pulled over
That`s some highly corrosive gasoline you are using there.
>>17564241
That's all gas, the owner of that car just doesn't give a fuck about not spilling any on the paint.
>>17564092
How hard is it to wipe the spillover ffs. Lazy faggot.
Why do Americans call pick-ups as trucks?
>open flat bed lorry
Why do Americans call dingo-haulers as mobile mullets?
>>17564048
It's not just a "truck". It's a "pick-em-up truck". For picking up chicks obviously.
>see cars all around town with "For Sale" signs on them
>none of them ever have a price written on them
What the fug
>>17563566
Make an offer you cunt
You're supposed to call them up and ask. Or you can look up the bluebook value.
By what age should you be dailying a <5 year old German car like a well adjusted male should be doing?
im not bluepilled
>>17563508
This.
>Buy a new car every 5 years because the old one has already cracked in half because it's completely plastic
>Well adjusted
Good shit OP made me reply

new to /o/ and I want to learn more about my car but dont know where to start.
Should I start with how boxer engines work?
I don't know anything about car parts and how it all comes together.
I've heard other people mention engineering explained but which vids specifically should I start with?
also are there any youtubers who specialist in 2004 WRX's?
Just take you car apart and put it back together. It is what most of us did. Get a factory service manual if you need help reassembling things.
>>17563430
>new to /o/
run away, while you still can. This place is cancer and knows fuck all.
>>17565157
Lel why take your car apart if there is nothing wrong with it
Is a 100 mile daily commute too much?
One hour each way of my time + petrol costs, is it worth it? I ride a mitorcycle so traffic is of no concern, and its 90% motorway anyway.
>>17563194
think about it like this
lets say you need to be at work at 8am
so you need to leave at 7am assuming no slowdowns on the way
which means you need to get up at 6:30 at least if not earlier
then on the way home in rush hour traffic your hour commute will turn to hour and 15 min or more
so you leave work between 5 and 5:30, get home close to 6:30 or later if you need to run errand on the way
you go to bed around 11 or 11:30 so you can get close to 8 hours of sleep
you end up with 4 maybe 4.5 hours of free time
if that's ok for you then go for it
thats a lot of miles but if it's only 1h, fuckit. my commute is 10 miles but sometimes I'm lucky if it takes less than 2h
>>17563212
Well I have a real love for riding but if I'm doing 20,000 miles a year its going to kill the bike. Its the petrol cost that is worrying me.
