I'm confused, why do people call my car a truck? I'm fairly confident it's a compact suv..
So a mini truck? I call my suv a truck. Then again its pretty much an enclosed silverado.
>>17585869
Because people are dumb fuckers
>>17585962
On a side note, would it prob cost around 600 to paint my nitro black like this one ( it's silver rn)?
>pull out the oil dipstick
>its dry
>pull out the condom
>it's dry
>>17585775
This fucking happened to me holy shit it was horrible the engine drank 2.5 quarts I still shit in my pants about it.
>pull out the oil dipstick
>its dry
>refill
>mind my own business again
>feel good not giving shit about your 200$ shitbox
Hey /o/
So I just got a 2010 Lincoln MKZ a month ago, and I want you to tell me how bad i fucked up/ did good. And Maybe you can answer a couple questions.
So it had 55k Miles on it and I got it for 12k
Its fully loaded with beige interior and AWD,
But I do have a problem that is pissing me the fuck off. Any time I turn on the car, or the battery, the wind shield wipers go through a quick cycle then shut off?
Online forums tell me its a battery issue but i havnt noticed anything else wrong with my electronics. What could it be?
Aside from that what does /o/ think about Lincolns? Pic Related, its not exactly mine, but pretty much a perfect match
>>17585625
Shit forgot to mention my Wheels are scratched as fuck, anything i can do to fix? or do i just have to buy new ones?
>>17585628
Wheels are probably fucked. I hear ecoboost is fairly reliable so hope you got that. Hope it's comfy buddy.
>Lincoln has 2 sedans
>Are the exact same size
>>17585602
Explain why I should care.
>>17585602
How much direct injection do they have?
>>17585602
the continental has loads more leg room
if you buy the MKZ, your lanklet friends will hate you
hey /o/
My buddy has a 2002 jetta vr6 automagic, does not shift into 3rd gear. He's tried multiple transmissions but still nothing, is is possible a speed sensor has gone? halp
Remove transmission and install direct injection
How many of you fell for the direct injection meme?
what's the difference between gdi and standard fuel injection?
>>17585455
Direct injection get so much carbon buildup in valves it lowers the hp
>>17585455
You can run high compression and leaner fuel ratios with out having to worry about the charge pre igniting during compression.
what does /o/ tthink about flocked dash
Money would have been better spent on adding DIRECT INJECTION to that FD
>>17585345
>haha I posded id agin
Considering this for my E30.
It looks breddy gud but I've heard you have to use static somehow to make the fibers stand on end while applying otherwise it looks matted and uneven
What can I do to this engine to make the 4,000lb car that it resides in fun to drive?
sell it since you admitted a couple days ago that you can't afford it anymore anyways
>>17585280
Nobody wants it
>>17585272
Add a direct injection system.
I don't think this is weight reduction
>>17585101
Jokes on you. There's less weight.
Flash Floods are awesome
>>17585101
That's perfectly normal
I'm looking for a small sporty tuner type car, preferably Japanese, must be 4WD/AWD. What are my options?
Old impreza
>>17585021
Better off with Yuropeen or Mexrican 2bh
SX4 by based Suzuki
the CT6 will get the Escala face, the XT4 will have the Escala design language
Is this the beginning of Cadillac being #1 again?
>>17584921
What is with the weird paint job
>>17585752
i was thinking the same thing
>>17586282
>>17585752
Fucking summerfags holy fuck
Why are American cars so shit?
>>17584896
A guy in my town has a geo metro that he dropped on top of a samurai awd frame, pretty fucking cool
>>17584896
That thing probably has no torque
What kind do you have? Best kind?
I have a pair of boshes that directly inject dryness onto my windshield.
>>17584725
Bosch, they're garbage.
I've never had a good set of wipers.
>>17584725
Rain-X Latitude Water Repellency
These + Rain-X glass treatment and Rain-X Bug Remover washer fluid is absolutely god tier.
Sup /o/ just test drived this 350z. It's perfect mechanically and cosmetically. One owner car with regular maintenance. Only 22k miles and it's a manual. It's a good deal the guy is elling it for $8,000. Only reason I'm hesitant is cause I'm a poor college fag and that's like half my life savings. Should I just buy a 3k miata instead? Also how is resale value I'm thinking even if I get tired of it I could easily sell it for a few hundred dollar loss. Also how fun are these when redlining I didn't really want to push it hard during the test drive.
Does it have direct injection? If not you shouldn't buy it.
>>17584653
From one poor college fag to another I'd say go for it, I've been saving for one for a while just waiting for the right one.
>>17584653
What year?
ITT: dumbest ways you've ever spent $400
>go down to drive to field meeting
>drove the classic today
>key in, turn to start, zero motion
>no solenoid click, no crank
>fug
>get ride from coworker who wanted to tag along anyway, later get car towed back to apartment after hitting shit with a wrench for 30 minutes after shift ended
>nothing seems to work
>have great fuel pressure at rail
>no spark
>read forums, suspect TDC sensor, which is conveniently mounted on bell housing
>can't use ramps because can't drive car up onto ramps because it doesn't run
>drive dadmobile to Harbor Freight and buy jack and stands
>learn how to put a car on stands from the internet, still sketchy as fuck
>unscrew crank sensor
>trace wiring
>it's fucking unplugged
>plug it back in
>car fires up and runs better than it ever has
>clean contacts, zip tie connector together because the wire clip tab is sheared off
>car is WAY better to drive than ever
>driving on highway
>*ping*
>stray pebble cracks windscreen
Just like that $500 out of pocket.
>>17584576
Fucking hilarious.
Mum's car had its airbag/seatbelt light on for a whole year, three mechanics couldn't figure it out. Fourth one found a plug under the drivers seat loosened.
>>17584595
The hell do you drive that costs 500 for a windshield?! My last one was 320 and I was pissed!
