I'll start with this 1.6L 8V abomination. The engine is literally a 90s design and the car sucks at crash tests. At least Fiat doesn't sell stuff that's as outdated as this thing is.
>>17591397
>0.2L displacement per cylinder
That is atrocious, definitely not uma delicia
>>17591397
>>17591447
it's "uma delícia", not "uma delicia" retards
>>17591447
heh, I wish that was the case, imagine the revs
it's a 8V, not a V8. Inline-4.

found the cannibal monkey
I need the absolute best Automotive Speakers for my GMC Sierra.
It has two 6-1/2" speakers in the front and two 4x6" speakers in the rear.
I have $1000 I can spend. I want the best of the best for my price range. Any ideas?
>>17590118
>doesn't know /o/ knows dick about car audio
i would go with alpine or pioneer, but that will cost u nowhere near $1k
maybe spend the extra on a good HU and amp
i would ask /g/ for advice as well
>be me
>asked about cheap head units,
>best suggestion was 15 y/o used Alpine
>still didn't meet criteria
t. found a BOSS 4x50W for $23
>>17590358
>Post that doesn't know dick about car audio
For 1000 dollars drop 500 on 4 Focal, Hertz, or if you want to save some money Infinity or CT Sounds, and then amplify them with a 400-500 watt 4-channel amp.
>>17590118
Get Alpine type Rs all around with an amp and subwoofer(s) to match.
Can /o/ redpill me on Volvos?
So far all I know about them is that they are consistently known for safety.
How does their reliability compare to other European brands?
What are some notable models throughout the years?
Any Volvo owners on /o/ care to chime in on their car?
What are some good used models to look out for if I want a safe reliable car for under 5k? (don't care too much about performance)
Also Volvo general.
i have a v70
i love the 5 banger sound other than that what you you wanna know?
>>17589308
Sweet. Assuming you do routine maintenance, hows it been holding up? Are parts hard to come by? Expensive?
>>17589288
I have a 940 what do you want to know?
Lost
>>17588241
Was that about this thing?
If Initial D was made again today what car would be featured instead of the Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX?
Maybe an Impreza or LAN EVO? Something that was fast for the time but is ten years old, passed down to a kid so he can street race his fellow hoodlums on the touge
Both Imprezas and Lancer Evolutions are 4WD (with some Lancers being FWD).
Rear wheel drive is optimum for drifting so which ever car he used would likely have to be rear wheel drive.
>>17588126
The spirit of the touge is lost on the current effiminate generation. Their noses are firmly planted to their cell phones and they don't even care about how they get to the shitty hiphop concert, just as long as they get there. They will embrace the soulless appliance transport box with the autonomous driving computer so they never have to look up from their screens, and just post instagrams to their equally disenguaged friends.
So to answer your question, the car of choice would be an early model google autocar that will safely and percisely drive them down Mt Akina at the speed limit and in the proper lane. They will survuive to eat their tofu.
not this fucking thread again
Subtle asshole things you do in your car to piss other road users off
>lanes merging down
>guy tries to wait till the last second and cut in
>I speed up and box him out
>he ends up on the shoulder like a cuck
>Drive 5mph under the speed limit or just the speed limit
Captain slow here
I drive at the posted speed limit.
Why can't there be more itasha that isn't disgusting hentai anime girls?
This is even more cringey than naked women airbrushed all over a fat boomers hot rod or harley davidson,
>yolobathsalts
>>17587150
Absolutely. The world needs tasteful itasha. Having naked girls is just cringey.
I just picked up this puppy today, and because their isn't one in the catalog, post your car and rest others.

>>17584675
>Rest others
Rate others. Fuck.
>>17584675
I secretly want one of these but worried I'll look like a gigantic faggot to casuals. Also not sure about Fiat reliability. Any common issues pop up with these things yet?
>>17584752
I've done a fair bit of research, I can't find any large known problems yet. I got this 14 model with 7k miles on it, but I'll be picking up a Chrysler 5 year/75k mile warranty extension so I'm not too worried about it.
Try driving one, they're retarded fun, and that exhaust is ungodly good sounding for a shitbox
>tfw I will never own one
What's your dreamcar that you will never be able to justify buying/owning?
>tfw the most expensive dreamcar you have is less than 15k
feels good to have mediocre goals
>>17584497

>tfw you could afford your dreamcar but insurance and registration fees are stopping you

Mildly.
It's not attachment as much as I don't want it to get dinged up or scratched.
My last car (2000 5.0L Explorer AWD, God rest It's soul) I miss more then my deceased mother.
A fucking drunk teenage girl drove over the center line and hit me doing 50mph + and got me 14k dollars in medical bills.
WOMEN.
Pretty attached, my first car, got it for 4K, don't want to fucked it up too bad, 03 CRV
>MR2
learned to drive stick in it. a moneypit and a pain in the ass but i love it and don't ever want to get rid of it.
>GS430
only bought recently, but is my comfy, practical landbarge and i'm learning to love it.
>SC2
belonged to my dad. is a shitbox in every sense of the word and is rusting away to almost nothing, but its reliability and the memories of the old man make it hard to justify getting rid of it.
Girls in your car stories?
>buy manual car even though I don't know how to drive one.
>get the basics down over the weekend and on my own on Monday.
>qt girl is working with me that day.
>offer her a ride since she is on my way home.
>forgot I'm driving a manual now.
>traffic slows down and end up stopping on a hill.
>oh shit, never did a hill start.
>end up stalling like a million times. people honking. me being in panic mode trying different things people told me like handbrake start etc.
>nothing seems to be working cos I wasn't doing it right.
>bus she would've caught drives past.
>feels bad to the max man
>eventually fluke it and get it.
>I'm obviously distressed and humiliated but manage to get her home.
>I get home and just crawl straight into bed.
>do the same thing for about 2 weeks because of how bad it made me feel.
at least she was nice about it and knew I was new to driving a manual and says she is proud of me when I finally got the hang of hill starts.
she started taking driving lessons and said she wants to give a manual a go since she saw first hand what it took to learn lmao.
should I offer to teach her? if I do think she will give gas money?
You posted this same shitty thread few days ago and it got insta-buried. No one gives a fuck about your dumb fake story you no car having summer bitch. By the time your old enough to drive manuals won't even be around so stop fantasizing now.
And I'm the future, when you are old enough to talk to girls, dont expect gas money. Girls never pay for their own gas so they have no concept of using someone else's.

Is this stuff any good...Also any discussion about detailing welcomed.
>>17543822
It's alright but I prefer this one.
>>17543849
I dont know anything about the wash wax combos. I know alot of washes have wax in them though. I like to apply a nice wet wax spray so idk if it would be overkill.
Can someone tell me just how good teflon sealants or ceramic sealants are? I was at a recent car show and some local car autodetailer had setup a tent. They offered your typical detailing services but they also did a wax and sealant job that claimed it would stay on your car for a year. Now they wanted like $500 for the job, but it sounds like a bunch of bullshit.
tfw Ford needs:
> FOUR cams
> THIRTY-TWO valves
> two sets, SIXTEEN fuel injectors
> 12:1 compression
> TEN speed trans
Just to match the SS.
The joke is, the 2018 Camaro is getting the 10-speed too - so it will have the same relative acceleration improvements.
The LT1 will be 5yo in 2018, so GM will put out the exact same engine with a fatter cam profile and make 20-30hp more to pass the new 5.0 and Hemi 392.
>>17597450
why didnt GM go back to the alum block based LS?
GM needs more displacement and STILL can't beat Ford at LeMans
And expect the Vette and Camaro to get higher-strung track variants like the GT350, see pic related. They already have an engine that puts down more power than the 5.2 Voodoo with basically a cam kit LT1.
