Have fun literally letting the jews know exactly where you are at all times
>>17606689
The NSA already knows where you are. They've tapped every device you own. Using a consumer service for basic navigation means absolutely fuck all.
Did you miss everything Snowden already told us?

Can anyone identify these wheels please?

why are you making pol style slide threads, but only 1 of them, and is not actively trying to kill threads?
>>17606403
>title says 25k
>body says 35k
which is it, im stoned
>>17606417
35k MSRP, after Cali tax incentives it comes down to 25k
I find it ridiculous that hot rods cost more in 2017 than the cars they were trying to copy in the 1950s.

Does a seatbelt ticket raise insurance?
Yes you fucking degenerate
>>17605974
Ware a seatbelt next time you fucking idiot.
>>17605974
Wearing a seatbelt has literally 0 negatives.
Hey /o/, complete noob here. I'm going to be changing the oil on my Ford Explorer for the first time ever and have a few questions.
One is that my driveway is on a slight downhill incline. Is it still okay to change the oil on it, and if so should I be pointing up or downhill? I doubt I'll need to jack this bitch up with how much clearance there is.
And two, do I need a torque wrench for the drain plug? If not how tight do I turn it? And if I do, what size drive should I buy?
Pic semi related, my driveway is only slightly sloped.
>>17605861
If the oil drain plug is on the back of the oil pan, let it face downhill. Apply this logic to wherever the drain plug faces.
You don't need a torque wrench, just get it snug enough with a small 3/8 ratchet to the point where you can't push it normally anymore, but don't try to "oomph" it more than that. Do not go past this point or use a huge breaker bar to tighten it as you will regret it the next time you go to undo it.
Apply similar logic to the oil filter, if you tighten it too much now you'll hate yourself for it next time you go to remove it. You might even experience this when you go to change your oil this time around since there's no telling who did what to it last time.
>>17605881
Thank you anon!
Am I an idiot or something? I've tried using my 3/8 ratchet and I can't move the drain plug one way or the other. It isn't even like its stuck, more that it feels like my sockets aren't grabbing anything, as if I were just pressing the thing against a flat surface and twisting. It clicks and moves but the bolt doesn't budge. Also I'm not 100% sure which setting to switch my ratchet to for removal, which I realize is retarded.
What should I do?
Been driving a PT Cruiser for the past two years.
Is a Audi TT Quattro even slightly faster or am I just wasting the 7k I earned
>literally a fancy Beetle
At least get a Boxster if you're set on VAG for 7k.
>>17605582
This, those early TTs were dog shit. At least the Boxster is like 70% 911
>>17605579
Not much faster. Honestly you'll miss the ride quality and high rpm torque of the PT. TTs are fun rentals but I get boring after a week of daily driving. At least the PT is comfy, cheap to fix, and super roomy.
I found this shift knob at a yard sale for 10 bucks and thought it may be valuable, real wood and all.
What car is it from?
>>17605542
This is a bait thread. If you really bought that shifter then time stamp it.
If that's a Honda access shift non it will be worth over 100 dollars.
Look up old Honda parts catalogued and see if you can find it.
My first instinct is an old E class merc
MAZDA CLEF

... Is that a Ford Escort ZX2?

You have been visited by the bogan skyline of Australia.
You must type 'fuck off you shit cunt' or bogans will put a unit sticker and Chinese parts on your car when you sleep tonight.

how to remove fuel from fuel rail? specifically on an m50 BMW.
I have literally blown up a car doing this(also an m50 bmw...) see pic I spilled gas in the engine bay and when I turned it on a week later pic related happened. the replacement I bought also has an m50 engine, and I have to replace the head on it. how much fuel can I spill in the alternater area before this one blows up too? obviously I'm going to spray it out with water first - which I didn't learn last time. but I'm still scared to do it. should I buy a pump? can I safely vacuum gasoline with a shop vac? So make the shop vac a straw then hook it up to the gas line (I've done this with my brake line but obvi never gasoline. friend thinks really bad idea. he helped me with pic related)
How much gas exactly did you spill that it hadn't evaporated a week later?
jesus. take it to a shop desu.
Pull something down-stream somewhere. Don't spray your alternator or anything that gets hot with fuel. If you do, clean that shit up. Throw rags and shit down underneath it before you pull it.
Pull injectors with rail so it doesn't spray everywhere until your ready, then pull one injector and let the fuel flow into a container.
Remove the fuel hose off the end of the rail and have a container ready.
don't work on cars.
>Turn on car
>pull fuel pump relay
>car runs until lines are empty
>???
>profit
Going to start looking for a fun daily driver to fix up, given the two options here which would you buy? I don't mind getting either's engine rebuilt if need be, i plan on getting some work done if mint examples are rice taxed too much
>MR2
>Subaru 2.5 rs coupe
>>17604132
Get the sw20, NA too for godlike reliability
>>17604132
Subaru. It's much less likely to kill you... even if you go sideways into a tree because you can't drive
>>17604183
Yeah, I'd go NA I hear turbo ones have more problems (alot more expensive too)
>>17604185
The downside with the subaru is its alot harder to find without a salvage title or undamaged body. I'll take the time to find good example of either one I guess
Hey /o/, I'm in search for a car.
What I need tp know is what's wrong with old BMWs like a 325ci or a 740i, they all are within my budget and most seem in great condition. Are they really too good to be true? Are they money pits?
I really need to know because they seem like a really good deal
>>17603033
>Old german """luxury"""
Maintenance nightmare, OP
Just be prepared to spend the price of the car again on repairs
I'm not saying you'll need to, but you might depending on how well maintained it is
>>17603060
This pretty much. Its best to be looking for a well cared for model with a thick book of paper work detailing all the repairs done.
Also learn to use a wrench.
