Same question
G310gs or rc390
Still considering between racing vs. Adv
>>17616715
RC390
i want to make driving friends
Will they succeed in the US?
>>17616617
No.
it will be the same story like with japanese and later korean cars.
first they're unreliable cheap copies of known brands and later they become better and better and at some point are just as good or even overtake in some regards.
also, what difference does it make anymore when you consider that a HUGE part of every car nowadays gets its parts from china?
>>17616617
They'll price them low and they'll be steaming piles of slapped together crap. And then either they'll do what the Koreans did and get their act together or they'll slink away like the Yugo did.
I am looking for a daily driver I can mod to be fast yet reliable around $8000, any recommendations? Please include what you'd do to it, and preferably prices. Your experience would really help me out!
Mazda speed 3 gen 1. Seriously some of the fastest production cars for the price point, tons of options for mods, built in dataport. Only comes in manual, comfy as fuck, bulletproof, parts are cheap, easy to work on. Like I can't stress enough how fast these cars are and how easy it is to make them faster. Plus actual backseat and room for stuff/friends, perfect for a daily.
Yea I know fwd is gay but for a daily its perfect.
I have a fun rwd car, but my ms3 is the greatest daily. Aside from a miata/s2k in a canyon, or a shit box with a ls swap, you'll be faster than all the other ricer boy racers out there.
>>17616253
>daily driver
Easy.
>I can mod
No problem.
>fast yet reliable
This is going to be hard.
The instant you start modding you enter into a never ending upkeep the more mods you throw on. And the more mods you adds the less reliability it becomes as a daily driver. Unless you're talking about really really simple mods.
>>17616287
>Mazda speed 3 gen 1
this. my neighbor owns a 2013 ms3 turbo and it walks on wrx boyracers on the highway easy.
its also his daily and from what i've driven its real /comfy/

Hey /o/, I'm about to go all-in picking up an early '90s Lexus SC400 for about $1K. Crazy reliable 1uz, bulletproof everything else sans maybe 1 water pump procedure, great looks, 2+2 grand tourer, buttery smooth, V8, luxury. Can any other car even compete in the $1-2K price range? There are even capable SC400's in the $500-$1K range, too. Unreal!
no comers?
>>17615852
If they didnt need water pumps replaced theyd be a perfect car for 1k.
>>17615852
LS400 is better in every way. Only advantage of the SC is that you can get the 300 in stick
Why are White people so bad at trying to be Japanese?
Why is it in places like America... people stick lots of crudely stick anime stickers all over their cars like this.
>>17615605
>>>/o/osg friend
But the Japanese actually go out and find a good graphic designer or sign writer and pay them to design it properly like this.
How is it that weebs manage to be even cringier than genuine Japanese people?
Gee. If I didn't know better I would have guessed that yanks were purely vapid and superficial people
WE generation cucked
>>17615479
new cars do look like a gay hand soap minus pubes stuck on it. but muh economy
I don't like the way new cars look, but they are objectively better aside from doing your own repairs.
If the Devil drove a car, what would it be? My vote's for a black 1970 Charger. Post evil looking cars ITT.
>>17615314
I'll bump sounds like a cool thread.
>>17615314
Well if Jesus drove an accord and didn't talk about it, The devil would drive a ferrari and tell everyone about it.
Designers put countless hours into sculpting beautiful bodylines onto every car on the road and attention-seeking tunersluts butcher their hard work with bondo and fibreglass.
There are no aftermarket widebody kits that improve the look of the vehicle. Prove me wrong.
>brotip:y'stcannot
If you make it look that awful then yeah I can see why people will get upset.
>>17615198
>There are no aftermarket widebody kits that improve the look of the vehicle.
Not only does this improve the look but it fits wider/stickier tires for better grip.
Lol I saw those flares on r3vlimited. Jesus fucking Christ.
I think pic related looks good, at least the flares. They just look like an E30 M3. I believe they're either alpina or AC schnitzer
I want a lightweight RWD sports coupe. Hmmm, which one should I get?
>>17614946
The RF is pretty slick, I felt obligated to test drive one when I was considering options.
>miata $41k
>Corvette $50k
Mazda cucks are this delusional.
>>17614961
RF starts at 31,500 in the US. If you have the least bit of negotiating skills you can get one for 28K out the door

/o/ BTFO HAHAHA, Driving actually makes you a brainlet study says :
http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/world/the-times/regularly-driving-more-than-two-hours-a-day-reduces-iq-study/news-story/ed1477f6f1ff46cc3c762f1ab04fccfe?nk=0dbae42c5267cb872a6f950b9a5ae1d8-1501206090
>Driving sends your brain into reverse, warn scientists, who have found that regularly spending more than two hours a day behind the wheel steadily reduces IQ.
>The researchers, who studied how sedentary behaviour affects brainpower, found it fell faster in middle-aged people who drove long distances every day.
>They suggest that people who want to protect their brains against the ravages of ageing should minimise their time on the road and find activities that are more mentally stimulating, such as socialising.
>Kishan Bakrania, a medical epidemiologist at Leicester University in Britain, said: “We know that regularly driving for more than two to three hours a day is bad for your heart.
>"This research suggests it is bad for your brain, too, perhaps because your mind is less active in those hours.”
>>17614585
I've always said truck drivers are fucking idiots
Study seems highly flawed. What if you were listening to audio books, classical music or red pilled talk radio?
i play candy crush while driving for this very reason. stimulates the mind
What went wrong bros?

Reminds me of the Supra. What's wrong with it?
If they built it, would you drive one?
>>17614409
Eh, not really. Miata is small enough for me and this is coming from a manlet.
>>17614409
Not with that fuckhuge ugly grille.
>>17614409
>go with the biggest wheel/tire size that fits
>add twin turbos
>place giant intercoolers right in that gaping grill hole

So why haven't you gotten your pilot's license so you can avoid all the peasants yet /o/?
I bet most of these busriders can't afford it, OP. Flying's expensive and they require quite a bit more training to fly than they do to drive. And you're not allowed to work on your own plane either, except for changing the oil. Anything else you have to take to someone licensed to work on whatever plane it is you have.
I don't own a plane nor live in a place with ample space to store it.
>>17614233
My vision is shit even if i really wanted to i can't get licensed
