>$440,000 for a fictional car
We have all went through this at some point in our life.
Tell me the story that made you stop buying used tyres
No we haven't.
I spend more money on tyres than any other automotive consumable combined.
>>17628853
I guess getting a job and finding tirerack.com.
I suppose the time it was called into doubt was when a torrential downpour occurred just as I was driving my newfound life to relocate 500mi away and my bald tires caused me to ram into a concrete divider. That would later cause the wheel to fall off on the highway (regretable) but not until another couple thousand miles later.
Hey /o/, what do you think would happen if Hotwheels/Mattel worked with an automotive company to produce 1:1 Hotwheels cars? (like pic related)
Honestly I'd buy one
>>17628597
>what would happen
Financial suicide.
You mean this hasn't been the case in Detroit for the last 50 years?
>>17628641
What do you mean it'd be financial suicide?
It'd be perfectly possible to produce 1:1 Hotwheels models and still get a profit. Most of the more "realistic" Hotwheels would be completely legal to drive

Planning to ride the Ducati 800km to north west NSW in a couple weeks.
Pray for me
>>17628563
Good luck. Hows the beemer coming along?
>>17628569
Pulled all the glass out, roof liner almost out, inner C pillar skin is looking alright so he'll just pull the outer skin, realign the roof, then set the new outer skin in place.
Once that's done, it comes back home for the meat of the build.
All fabrication, all drivetrain is done.
Then it gets taken apart to paint everything, then I put everything together inc interior to finish it
Why is owning a car just such a hassle...?
>>17628375
Because you're fucking lazy and don't realize caring for things takes effort.
Same reason you're alone.
It's over a ton of steel, aluminum, and plastic full of computers which has hundreds of moving parts. It's actually pretty amazing how cheap and reliable cars are, all things considered. My phone is 5% the cost of my car, but it feels 0.1% as substantial.
>>17628375
You could never be a good pet owner if you think owning a car is overwhelming.
>new driver
>TERRIFIED to drive because I might get in a horrible crash and become paralyzed
any tips for safe driving f.a.m.s
>>17628328
Just keep practicing, you'll get accustomed to it.
Keep your eyes up, watch your mirrors, don't sit in some retard's blind spot, keep to the right lane, and leave space to the car in front of you.
>>17628339
basically what this guy said op.
just be vigilant of all the other cars on the road. remember, its not you, its all of them. also, be decisive, hesitation gets people in accidents pretty often.
torque vs horsepower?

Wtf is the point of this brand?
What's the point of Lexus? What's the point of Lincoln? What's the point of Acura?
>>17627677
Those are all premium brands to distinguish from the base brand.
GMC existing at all is the biggest fucking mystery in the automotive world. wasn't GMC originally supposed to be a nameplate for fleet and commercial vehicles? why do they exist for civilians?
gmc at least makes some semi popular suvs
>>17627677
>what's the point of lexus
>whats the point of lincoln
i've questioned both of these cars existence for so long, maybe include Mitsubishi there too at a semi close third
No not neighboring countries like America and Canada or any European countries. I mean in a completely different country from the country you live in.
>>17627494
I drove once in Jamaica. It scared the shit out of me. Those guys give absolutely zero fucks
>>17627494
Driving in Okinawa is kind of scary. The roads are so narrow they make a Prius feel like an SUV.
(I'm a tourist, not USA military)
>>17627840
USA military (used to be at least) and spent 14 years there. Maybe the first year behind the wheel was scary but after that, no issue.
Guess it depends on how long you were there for. Driving in mainland is about the same by my experience.

What's taking your car to a cars & coffee type show like? Never been to one, but my tiny town bank is having a car show next weekend. Casual pull in and park kind of thing.
Thinking of taking the New Edge Mustang GT I just finished overhauling for shits and giggles.
Last year they had everything from some guy's '80s Land Cruiser to a genuine 1965 Cobra 427 that'd sold for about $850K earlier in the year.
Do you really want to spend your whole day standing outside talking to guys? I don't know, maybe you're gay, but that sounds like torture to me.
>>17627689
It's just a morning, and people usually do talk to each other. But I'm not a massive 4chan sperg.
>>17627689
your sexuality is extremely fragile
What's the fastest production car ever made?
>>17627347
It isn't the Huracan Performante regardless of whatever shit they pulled on the Nurburgring.
>>17627347
Depends on how you're defining that: Overall top speed, acceleration, track times, etc.
As for 0-60 the Model S P100D holds the current top record for a production car.
not important what is important is, what car is the fastest around the track for a reasonable amount of $? and the only answer is snek
