I show them the documentation where it states that my vehicle is part of the official emergency response vehicle fleet in my area, more specifically the main vehicle for the Red Cross Search & Rescue Corps
Therefore they would be potentially hindering or outright sabotaging emergency readiness and the rescue service. If they take the car anyways that would be a quite huge case, and if they don't I'm ready to let it slip

I have lived in a Van for a year and now use one as my work truck.
High roof is nice but unless you are living in there it is not that important and where I am (Cali) you can pick up used E350 6.0's for $7500 with around 200K miles.

I've never owned a garage, at least not since I moved out of my parents house. Only had my car broken into once in college and it's because I left my backpack on my passenger seat.

Assuming you're not into track driving (I understand why you would buy more expensive tyres if you do) do you buy the cheapest tyres if your current ones are damaged and need a replacement?
Some advice I've read say you should spend more on tyres since it's the only thing that keeps you on the road instead of going cheap but I do fine with the cheapest ones.
So do you buy more expensive tyres or the cheapest ones?

Because you never get close to the limits of your cheap tires. You're doing fine without your airbags and seatbelt as well, right? When you're waking up in the hospital bed and the doctor tells you you've been in a coma for 2 weeks and are paralyzed from the neck down, you're gonna wish you had tires that allowed you to stop from 60 in less than 200 feet or let you swerve in the wet.
Also in my experience decent Michelins last longer than chinkshit and end up being cheaper in the long run.

I went to my local Chevy dealership today and I my fiancee and I had a hard time trying to squeeze in a Silverado.
A while back I asked for suggestions on what vehicle would be large enough to support me and my wife, I was suggested a F450, but that was just as similar to the F150. I blame both Ford and General Motors for making vehicles too small to support my soon to be wife and I.
Please won't you help me find a good vehicle to support me until I drop this weight. I'm 538 lbs.
