Why does this auto manufacturer make people so whiny and upset?
It's only tiguan drivers.
people are jealous.
>>17637517
Nothing about them being slower than a Camaro makes me upset.
>/o/ likes the miata because it's slow, but fun
>/o/ hates the GT86 because it's slow, but fun
Fucking explain this shit
>>17637468
1. /o/ is not a hivemind
2. The people who blindly shit on the GT86 are bench racers who would likely not be able to afford one within the next 5 years
3. Both cars are a lotta fun
One costs $3000, the other costs $25,000
>>17637497
well one is almost 30 years old, the other one isn't
how bad of an idea is a twingo with a 4cyl motorbike engine in it?
>>17637323
It's a pretty good idea, especially if you're using a 1000cc supersports bike. However, fabrication and such will be a bitch, so it's probably not worth doing in a Twingo. You might as well use something a bit mroe iconoc like a classic Mini or Fiat 500. Hell, there's kits out there for installing an R1 or Hayabusa engine into a Mini.
>>17637515
Not getting a Fiat 126p.
>pleb
Are they so machine-like they can't even think of proper fucking names?
>>17637081
Names are irrelevant. You pay for power.
>muh GMC Jimmy
>>17637158
>you pay for power
Name 3 German cars that give me over 400 HP for under 40k new
When an European buys a pickup truck. Why buy a truck with a V8 when a 1.3 diesel does the trick?
1.3, are you fucking mad? The insurance would kill us
0.4 is where its at!
>>17637022
but it doesnt do the trick
Why would you even buy one of these when you can have one from the same company with a flat bed and folding sides?
How much?

They did something they didn't have to to make EVs look fun, and it looks like a lot of fun. Mission accomplished gg French

Wish they would make it.
'Course it would be stuck in europe anyway.
How can American car makers fix the redneck/for old people image?
If you talk about a rustang, slowmaro, mentallychallenger, euros and japs joke about how you fuck your sister.
If you talk about Lincoln or caddillac they talk about how they are for old people and are now imitation luxury.
The only American cars that get any respect are really old ones it seems.
I think the best option is for GM, Ferd and the like to start putting their cars in the hands of movie characters to broaden their appeal like what James Bond did for Aston and BMW.
GM tried with transformers but that movie was for kids who cant even fucking drive and the movie was shit as well.
If Tony Stark, John Wick, James Bond etc all drove a C7 or a CTS V for the past years do you think the brands would be more respected in the mass market?
>>17636444
John Wick does drive american cars, hell the first predominantly featured a new charger.

I love my chevy and I love where I come from. I fuckin' drive around in my hillbilly mobile blaring old southern rock music loud as hell around a bunch of toyotas and hyundais driven by shitskins and I don't give a fuck.
>euros and japs laugh at you
Yeah the same people who yearn to have our classic cars and even our modern muscle cars.
Are you stupid?
how does it feel that cars and trucks are going down the same path as weapons?
>fossil fuel powered cars will be illegal
>eco shit will be mandatory
>all cars will be connected to the internet making everything you do in the car illegal
>government or law enforcement will have total control over your vehicle
>everything will be automated, including driving
>manual transmissions will need federal permits
>importing/exporting cars or trucks will be illegal
>motorcycles will be outlawed
>cars will continue to become uglier and uglier until they have no faces anymore and become soulless hunks of high grade plastic
>metal materials are illegal
>a new car will cost over 100,000 UN Credits (by this time the USD no longer exists)
this is our children's future
>this is what /pol/ and /k/ really believe

Possibly one of the last nice Monacos out there.
Why does /o/ hate this so much?
>>17636413
Did you just assume everyone on this board hates everything about Tesla?
You need to read people's criticisms of the cars more closely. It follows "/o/s" normal likes and dislikes of a car

It's not the cars, so much as the shitposters that wish they drove them.
>If indictments are levied against more people for conspiracy, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the UAW will find themselves embroiled in a scandal that could eclipse most others in recent automotive history.
>The 42-page document outlines a multimillion-dollar conspiracy, alleging UAW and FCA officials used embezzled funds to support lavish lifestyles involving first-class trips, $37,500 solid-gold pens and a $350,000 Ferrari 458 Spider.
>The indictment specifically mentions at least eight unnamed people while vaguely mentioning "other" groups of people. Separately, federal officials announced fraud charges against former FCA financial analyst Jerome Durden, who is accused of creating false tax returns to hide payments to Holiefield, Iacobelli and other beneficiaries who were not identified.
This scandal could make ""emission cheating"" looking a fuckin joke.

What is the best car to connect with, where you and the car can become one unit working together. Doesn't have to be fast, doesn't have to be new.

Any car that's mostly mechanical. Newer cars give you shit like "simulated feedback" and such which don't allow you to feel the car

Hello all, I have a 2002 Ford Mustang and the fuel filler neck is rusted out
New ones are about $80 plus another $50 to have it installed so I'm not too keen on doing that
Do you guys know any sort of sealant/tape adhesive that is gasoline proof? Preferably one that can be found in local Home Depot/auto parts store?
Pic related it's me when I found out my fuel filler neck was leaking.
>>17636185
Gasoline is a solvent. Its gunna dissolve almost any sealant you try to use. Do not fuck around and nigger rig any components to your fuel system. You will burn to death or at the least destroy your car. Either learn to do it your self ir come up with the money. Its not even alot to be charging for something like that
>>17636185
Nigger that is $130, how fucking poor are you to not spend that to fix your car
>>17636185
Get a two-part epoxy. It will last a while.
