>Here's a thing to discuss, what insurance companies do you guys go with?
>What are some things I should do or avoid when purchasing insurance?
i'm 24, male, reasonably cautious, with a 12 year old sport bike worth 2400 USD and basically no experience
i decided to just get minimum liability and matching underinsured motorist bodily injury coverage until i get a couple years of riding under my belt and i can get better rates. i'm parking it in a garage atm so no theft insurance and comprehensive was too expensive for what the bike is worth.
i started looking at online quotes. a couple of them had fields asking "what insurance did you have before?" with dropdowns to choose from like 15 different companies - why thank you for telling me the names of your competitors, company, I'll be sure to get quotes from them, too.
i went with Nationwide, which was the lowest rate I found. My family has car insurance through USAA, which partners with progressive to sell bike insurance. Might check them out if you have a vet in the family, it was second lowest for me I think. Progressive by itself was also ok. Geico was a bit more than I was expecting. I found lots of smaller places in my area but most of them wanted to quote over the phone, or you submitted a form with your info online and they said they'd call you in a couple of days with a quote. I only checked a couple that way, but I'm a procrastinator so I had to buy insurance FAST to make the deadline for the title transfer form.

This board needs more drunkposting.
>>17640624
those two cars are similar enough that it doesnt matter
How do you cross shop a Charger and a Prius?
Is the 05-06 Mini Cooper S any good? How is the day-to-day driving of the car? Does the car respond good to modifications and tracking?
>>17640620
I got a 06 convertible non s and I think it more fun to drive then my my 2010 Mazdaspeed 3. I can only imagine what an S can do
In the next few posts you can find the GRM buyers guide, can also stroingly recommend the YouTube channel Mod MINI
Will /o/ be faggots about Volvo when they go all electric like you are with Tesla?
Volvo is dead. They've been cucks for a long time.
>all electric
they're not going all electric though. they're going to be hybrid minimum.
>>17640433

Maybe he's trying to talk about the 960? And the Viper ACR?
He said he can get me a suzuki cappuccino for only 4000 dollars (1000 for shipping). I am broke so i cannot get a r32, but what other recommendations do you have for a jdm car under 5000?
Also he said if i knew anyone that wanted to buy a car he can hook any one of you up. Just let me know if you are interested. Only thing he said he can't do is any car made past 1992.
>>17640342
get a Honda Beat instead.
Z20 generation toyota soarer
What are some examples of non-super cars whose designers didn't give a fuck about the safety regulations or whatever and just designed whatever the fuck they wanted that looked good?
Basically, the good looking cars of the 80s and 90s that you would never see being made today - made today.
>pic not related
lotus cars are pretty much it
>>17640333
Anything pre 1972.
Designs that disregard safety today?
Cant think of anything the throws safety to the wind for fun. If it doesnt meet certain standards then it doesnt get sold.
Its more likely to find manufactures cheating on performance killing emissions standards than to fuck around with safety.
>drive a hot hatch making about 230hp and 250 torks
>could have bought a used muscle car, but cared about yuropoor memes like muh handling, muh lightweight
>dad buys an E-class pigbarge with a 4.7L twin turbo with makes about 410 horses and 450 torks
>don't expect much because muh power to weight
>put my foot down and fffuuuuUUUUUUUUUUCK when 60mph happens in 4.4 seconds
>can't wipe the smile off my face after experiencing what being fast is actually like
Why did I choose handling over power? This is way better
>>17640207
>b-but muh fun
/o/ eternally btfo
>>17640207
Did you expect less from a mercedes.
>>17640207
So, what godtier muh powa cars are you looking at OP?
Hey /o/, I'm about to buy my first car, but I have to choose between an MR2, or a mustang, I like both cars very much, and money is no problem, but I'd like to hear your opinions on them. Redpill me on both.
>>17640121
>MR2
get a ZZW30, you don't want your first car to be a rusty unreliable project car
And I say that with the AW11 being my favorite
>>17640143
This
>aw11
>Money no problem
>Money
>No problem
Then why on Earth would you want an aw11
I bought a car a few weeks ago
Trips decides what I buy from autozone and ruin it with

Sup /o/ Im looking to get a fun and reliable sports car and I want to buy new so I dont ever have to worry about maintenance because if anything goes wrong its covered. I feel like it makes the best financial sense too because there is really good financing deals too I think I can get 5% interest for 72 months thats what the dealer said.
Here is what I want to get it looks cool and apparently it has a turbo which means it gets a ton of extra power also I got it fully loaded so it will make a great daily driver too. What do you guys think?
Go test drive it anon. The veloster is shit if you ever drove a car with power or handling

Rally Homologation.
Quick, expensive.
The car that got Toyota banned from WRC.

Buying a 91' Celica is worth it?
The one I'm looking at has ice cold ac
>>17639801
A gt4/alltrac is always worth it if you're actually going to go through the trouble of keeping it road worthy.
If you're looking at a gt model, expect a zippy daily driver. If you're looking at an st, expect a gutless econobox that can be outrun by diesel box trucks
Please help me out.
I hear that the when old Evo's get on the boost it is pretty overwhelming/fun but I don't want to pay $28,000 for a 9 year old car with 70,000 miles on it so should I just go with the WRX or STI?
Please help!
Evo
Import a JDM car, same/more power, and less weight, for like $15k tops.
>>17639707
IS that a guy or a girl?
Also get the WRX
