Just sold it to my brother for the same price I bought it for though so no big deal. Where do I go from here though? I'd still love to get a small quick roadster but the Miata was just too slow and old for me to justify spending thousands on tuning to make it better to drive. I'm thinking a MR2 would be perfect for cruising would you guys reccomend one?

so I am gonna go look at a 86 toyota 2wd truck next week. anything I should look for? It's $500 and supposedly only needs a battery and a blinker in the front. the body looks like it's been patched up a little

Getting a new engine would be less hassle then having redo the head. If you have the dough just go ahead and do a M50/M52 swap as its pretty much just a bolt in.
Other than that, the suspension and the coolant system will probably need to be replaced if hasn't been done already.

Fellow desert fag that knows a little about E36s here.
I would budget getting an entirely new (used) motor to drop in. Then when the car is runing and sell the left overs to recop costs. It's a pain in the dick to pick up somebodies project and I don't ever trust motors that have been left open like this one has.

This is a long shot, but around two years ago this thread came up and a number of people submitted designs for a nice, discreet car stereo. No flashing color changing sharp edges with 20 buttons bullshit.
I know I saved them, but I can't find them now.
If anyone knows what I'm talking about, I'd love to have them again for reference in a project I'm working on.

I'm getting sick of looking for a decent head unit that doesn't look like fast n the furious, so I've ordered a few parts to make my own and I remember the designs /o/ came up with being extremely aesthetic.

Hello gentlemen, I have a question about Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
Let's say I have the 1.4 turbo engine, 120bhp.
What is the difference between the 1.4 120bhp and the Multiair 1.4 170bhp?
If it is just the Multiair feature, I read that it changes how the valves behave (I'm making it simple right now).
If the difference is just on the timing of the valves, would it be possible thru the engine control unit to change this parameter and get the 170bhp out of my 120bhp?
I really can't understand if there are any other differences components wise, besides the Multiair.
