Why don't you have a turbocharged LS in your car?
You can't just go adding an LS to everything.
>>17666291
Of course you can. You can get one from the junkyard and swap it for like $500.
Can you LS swap a Tesla?
These have been on since 1987 or earlier. Can't afford a rear disc upgrade but at least it stops somewhat better than a vw bug now.
nothing wrong with drum brakes m8
>>17665859
FUCK drum brakes. Spent countless hours on mine just to replace the shoes and drums once. Something like 16 hours total because things kept fucking up. They still squeak

End your pathetic existence immediately

Hey /o/. I'm making a list of cars that would be decent for pizza delivery because making sandwiches for minimum wage sucks.
I want a car that's fun enough to drive that I won't mind being in it for most of the day while it's not actively trying to break itself. Budget is ballpark around $2,500. If you would pick a car to deliver pizza in that delivers those criteria, what would it be?
old smart fortwo
a fucking twingo
>>17661957
>I'm going to make a minimum wage driving cars instead of making minimum wage in a store
Might as well drive for Uber or Lyft and game the system;use the tax deductions well and you'll easily come out ahead.
>$2500
No, never mind.
Go get ya a beat-up Civic or Corolla.
Corolla 2008 or older's actually not bad.
>>17661957
An electric car. It's the perfect application.
Why haven't you bought a Fiesta ST yet, /o/?
>>17658861
Because I would always be depressed that I didn't just buy a Focus RS instead.
>>17658870
There are people who have bought the RS and miss their FiST. It's not any more fun.
I can't justify the price.
What is the most recent car without any computerized/electronic control over car components? Basically, I want a vehicle that is fully mechanical without any drive-by-wire/brake-by-wire/etc. shenanigans. Age doesn't matter that much, as long as the car is reliable and easy to work on with plenty of spare parts. Other concerns are gas mileage, roominess (I want at least a 4 door, hatchback style preferred) and safety. Price isn't a major issue. Also, I live in America so it would have to be stuff on the market here. What are your recommendations, /o/?
>>17658207
A fleet pickup truck or van like a Ferd Transit. Otherwise rental car tier Focus or other small car.
They all have EFI tho
dude drive by wire is like standardized
are you against electronics in cars because your stupid as shit and dont understand ohms law?
>>17658216
yeah your stupid is dumb as shit too

Is this the dumbest car in the history of the planet? One can only imagine the repair bills such a car would run up in 5-10 years time when all that electric and forced induction bullshit starts to fail, and it's entirely pointless because it doesn't even improve the fuel economy.
cool
>>17666949
Its a plug in hybrid, so you don't have to pay as much to register it in certain European countries. Why get a Q7 when you can get this for way, way cheaper?
>>17666967
Are you high? It's like $100,000 in the US, it's 75K in the UK once you've put a few options on it.
Just picked up a '91 323
Picked up a '90 MX-6
What's the safest motorcycle? Could you get a motorcycle installed with seat belts and an airbag? I wanna get a super sport bike but they are too scary how can I make it safer?
>>17666355
This is not tasty bait at all
>>17666355
nigga sounds like you want a car
If you wore a seatbelt on a motorcycle it would be arguably less safe. Being strapped to a flying hunk of metal isn't exactly smart.
>inb4 getting on motorcycle isn't smart
>car manufacturers think this is the normal sitting posture
Why is this accepted?
>>17666323
Because shitty government regulations.
>>17666323
What the fuck are you driving?
>>17666323
How else am I going to sit?
My car is 4 feet tall
>lowering springs
pls stop
??
I bought a pair of those ramps from Autozone while they were on sale.
Waste of money though, all of my cars are too low and just get caught on the bumper.
>>17665966
That's the intermediate pipe that got smashed down onto the rear subframe by a speed bump, broke every single exhaust hanger, and bent the down pipe.
>>17665974
I got them for $40 at home depot. They're super useful.
I generally hate using jackstands unless I really have to.
