My engine hits peak timing advancement with 94 octane, unfortunately in commiefornia the premium gas is 91 octane.
Recently I've supplemented 14.5 gal of 91 octane with 3.5 gal of 100 octane race fuel. The problem is that race fuel is expensive as fuck. Are there cheaper alternatives?
I've heard torco is really good but it contains manganese which can foul up your plugs, o2 sensors and cat.
>>17687177
E85
>>17687182
Wouldn't I have to tune the engine for e85 and modify the fuel pump + injectors?
>>17687177
Do you have a tune? Otherwise a large portion of that race fuel is still going to waste despite mixing.
>>17687223
Only if your car doesn't support it. Also if your car doesn't support it, you would probably need the following
>injectors
>rail
>fuel lines
>fuel tank
>fuel pump
>tune
Not just a few, that shit eats stuff not built for it.
I was literally just about to put down cash on a new econobox, but here in MA i can't fucking get insured anywhere because i drive for Uber like 10 hours a week just to pay off my insurance. Any other faggots driving for Uber having insurance troubles lately?

if a car has less than 4 sensors it was probably built pre-1950's

Who played this as a kid?
Or do you play it even now?
is that Driver? the first and second one i played some, DRIV3R i played every damn day. Then I had to endlessly play the Driver: Parallel Lines demo because it was rated M so my parents wouldn't let me get it or GTA.
>>17686670
Driver 2? Only played the first. Good shit. I did replay the first a couple years ago, waaaaay easier on PC.

jfc the horror...
Driver 1 was epic, cruising around in a Chevelle, causing accidents and drifting non stop.

pic related, it's pretty funny, were it not for my country's retarded rules limiting it to 45 kph

They're cheap, comfy, and fantastic for towing boats, large campers, dirtbikes/atvs/snowmobiles etc. You just don't do that every day, but fuel and the trucks themselves are cheap enough that it's fine to daily and not worth renting one. Why does it bother you so much that our markets are different?
To those of you who ride motorcycles, was there a moment where you decided you wanted to do that? I assume most riders already drove cars when they switched.
For me, I had nothing to do with motorbikes growing up. Shortly after my 15th birthday, my mate took me on the back of his zzr600 and thrashed the fuck out of it. I feared for my life but also was completely sold on the experience and had to get one for myself.
>>17686575
I have been riding them since i was 4 years old, as soon as i could ride a pushbike without training wheels i was allowed on the dirt bike.
yeah I was depressed and lonely and full of anxiety and my parents were bugging me to get a car.
>>17686575
Had a housing issue but a good steady paying job, and the issue was trying to keep fuel costs down the hours or so drive I had to make. So instead of buying something boring like a prius for 10 or so grand I bought a motorcycle for about 2500
Alright mot/o/rists,
I am going to buy a vehicle that will last at least 1 year for me. I can't find a lot under 2k based on the sticky, but what about Chevy Trackers/Suzuki Sidekicks? Some are on my craigslist and I figured I might give them a shot since they are 4wd and 4 cylinder, so good on gas.
tl:dr Chevy Tracker/Suzuki Sidekick good for commuting?
Post your CL.
First gen RAV4s are much better.

All of these will last much more than 1 year with the proper maintenance.
So I'm changing my spark plugs, finishing up the first plug and I was tightening up the 10mm screw in pic related and it fucked snapped in half, I wasn't even tightening it that hard either. I'm like in shock...what the fuck do I do?!
>>17686223
thread two nuts together to twist it out
>>17686223
Take it out and put in another screw
>>17686223
Unless my eyes deceive me you'll need a new bolt for that one, and that usually means to remove the upper part of the engine/spark plug cover, whichever your car requires
Still, I don't know how those are exactly mounted in yours. Could you give us a photo of what it looks like without the coil there? As in remove the coil pack and show us the remains of the bolt
>30% more efficient than Skyactiv-G, which is already 15% more efficient than most gasoline engines due to Atkinson cycle

50MPG easily, with no hybrid technology, or 1L turbos with horrible throttle response. Turbofags and electricucks watch out.

Post yfw the next Mazda3 has a supercharged 2.5L that makes 250HP.
>supercharged
>2.5L
>250 hp
meanwhile ford offers a turbocharged 3.5L with 450 hp
stupid japcucks
>>17686066
the power is impressive for what the engine is aiming to achieve

>3.5L """""Eco"""""Boost
>Ford GT gets 14MPG combined
This is about thermal efficiency, not power density dumbfuck.
So I'm buying a Fiesta ST and this one looks awesome. Under €22k and 16k km driven. Lots of options like Keyless Entry etc this car was expensive 2 years ago.
But what's that black like only on the drivers' side? Is it a special model or something? I think I'll have that removed.
Also, is it a risk?
It's just a sticker. The only special model is the ST200.
>is it a risk?
The Fiesta ST is one of the most reliable vehicles Ford has right now. Getrag 6 speed manual >>>>>> garbage Powershift transmission. Someone on the FiST forums has one with nearly 300000km on it, no problems.
>>17685906
It's the 6 speed yeah I'm not a burger. Why does this have that fucking sticker. It's so ugly lol.
And I'm happy that it's reliable, think I'll go for it. Mind you, I actually like those cross-over/city SUV cars quite a lot hehe. Thinking about getting the new Peugeot 3008 instead .But it's a fucking Peugeot. BUT LOOK AT THAT COCKPIT. But the specs are fucking RUBBISH. And it wont climb a hill. You like to know you could you know
>>17685925
Yeah me too. My dad's got a Kadjar (which is just a Qashqai) and I drove a "Renault" Duster for 2 weeks on my holiday in Brazil. I like those a lot as well.
The 3008 is a good car, even voted best car of 2017 or something. But it's too expensive. And FWD only. The first decent one will cost 40k with options. The next stars at 50k
