Why are most car enthusiasts fat or lanky twinks?
>>17712919
Because we spend all of our time leaning over an engine bay, and not going to the gym?
>>17712919
Lanky twinks are the only ones who can reach down inside the engine bay to work on foreign cars
cant even drive if youre too big
BMW should get rid of any model under a 6 cylinder, infinitely improving their reputation and keeping poorfags who can't afford the maintenance from buying them (the people denigrating their reputation).
Prove me wrong.
PRO-TIP:
You will certainly be unable to do so.
>>17712677
>Prove me wrong.
They would go bankrupt 1 week later since the biggest part of their revenues comes from 4l engines and the plebmobiles that only badgewhores buy.
You know what, it's not a bad idea though, maybe we'll get rid of BMW and BMW drivers once for all.
+1
But then how will they ever shift any units to companies for their employees to lease? Those are massively taxed on their CO2 emissions and fuel economy figures in official tests, where tiny turbocharged engines have a massive advantage.

Hey /o/,
So I was looking at getting some wheels for my daily and I stumbled across these Rep Volk Rays Te37.
On the back is stamped with 'Made in Taiwan' so I'm sure they're fake.
Do you think these replicas are worth buying for under $1k?
OP here.
This is how they sit on my car.
(Bit of poke)
>>17712436
>buying replicas for less than 1k when the originals are about 1,5k
>having your wheels bend when you hit a pothole
Do you like the style enough to pay a grand for them?
derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
also, reps get a bad rap but aren't the end of the world.
Convince me not to buy this car.
>>17712253
Are you a poorfag?
>>17712255
Nah not really

its not a car you drive yourself
its a car someone else drives for you
What are your opinions on radial engines? They started off in big vehicles bug are now making their way into smaller cars like the Mazda CX-2.
Do you think it's the future?
depends on a lot of stuff.
how good the engine actually is, how easy it is to work on, how reliable etc
P-38, ya radials are cool
Now get out f a g g i t
They won't fit in an engine bay, lol. Only place they fit is on the nose of an airplane. Sure weirdoes have modded some cars to accept one but no production car will have one and no engineer will bother making one fit into a production car.
I have a 283 in my 67 impala and im looking to pull it and clean it up but cant find a rebuild video and i would greatly appreciate one if anyone can find one.
It's just another Chevy smallblock, so any Chevy smallblock rebuild tutorial should work, right?
>>17712180
ya think? i don't want to mess this up because this will be my first engine rebuild:)
>>17712144
you probably should go to the library then, books have a lot more reference and tips than a video
Just bought this hellcat, it's a real beast of a car!
Did I do good?

Most reliable SUV for under $5000?
I want something nice, tank-like, and not to hard to whip around.
I have an old rusty v6 4runner right now, its great but.. its over 20 years old and erm.. i want something newer and cleaner and easier to work on...
Contemplating going down to texas or cali to get a one owner 2000 Escalade with 90k, specifically interested in the 2000 model because unlike the newer ones its literally a tahoe clone, so it, theoretically, wouldnt have the problems of the newer ones.. and theyre cheap af
Not really brand-loyal, as long as the vehicle itself has a good reputation for reliability i'm game...
SUVs are for cucks and butch dykes. Try buying a Miata instead good buddy
>>17711332
one step ahead of you, i had a NB for like 5 years
not really an option in my current life situation to get another one though
>>17711332
Don't listen to this closet cuck.
I heard 00-04 Nissan Xterras are pretty good.
My friend asked me for advice on cool cars because he wants to get a "cheap, fun, cool looking" second car as a "date car." I gave him a few suggestions of cars I've driven in the past and a rundown of how enjoyable each was to drive. He then sent pic related.
Ok
>enjoyment while driving isn't really a big deal to me
Sounds like he should get an bus pass if he hates driving so much.
>>17711241
That's rude. Tell him to go fuck himself.
Have you guys ever seen any /o/ browsers on the road before?
Once I was pulling out of a taco bell and I saw a Nissan Xterra without a front bumper pull in with a bunch of stickers on the side rear window. I saw a Supreme "harambe" slap and I drove away as fast as possible. I think I saw an Anime slap or two with it. Pic related. It had that
>implying anyone on /o/ owns a car
I had a cop stop me, notice my WAT sticker, and talk to me about /o/ for maybe 15 minutes before parting ways. No ticket.
