I hate these so much. Although they did sell well. So ugly. So unreliable.

Unless it's the GT, because that has the SRT4 motor in it.

looking to buy a new car. came upon a 07 camry with 118k but it's been sitting in a garage for 3 years. Should that be a deterrent? I know battery might be shitty but do i have to worry about anything else? Price is good.

Have you ever done an engine swap?

I've got a 1990 ford ranger 2wd. The body and frame are in good shape, but the 2.3l is just getting really wore out. It doesn't have any power and it drinks and leaks oil. I've kept it alive as best as I could with regular maintenance. Next weekend, I'm going to be swapping it for a 5.0l 302. I've been planning this swap for about a year and I finally have everything I need to make it happen. Everything has been done on a tight budget, with 90% of the parts being from several u-wrench-it junk yards.

Last summer I swapped in a 1996 ford explorer 3.73 limited slip rear end. Also did a mild upgrade on the front suspension, to handle the added weight of the v8. The 302 is bone stock from a 1995 mustang, with just gaskets and seals being replaced. The transmission is the m5r2 from a 1993 f-150 with the top shifter plate from a 1997 f-150.

It'll never see a drag strip or do any off-roading. I just want it for the extra power and the rumble of a v8.

so my boss was getting rid of his daughters car (she just moved to college) and he sold me the 07 vue w 117k for $1200 but it needs brakes/rotors on front and probably back.

should i flip the vue and get a more dependable car or will this last me a good few years?

tl;dr - do you like vues/are they dependable

I can vouch for the reliability of the vue but only with the honda v6 that is
you might have to replace front wheel bearings at that mileage which i did to mine
other than that its been a damn good dd for the past three years

What can /o/ tell me about the 2006 Lexus Is 220d SE?
I live in Albania looking for a first car. I like how the car looks and I know its basically a toyota so it must be reliable right?
Thing is these are very rare here so I got basically no information about them so tell me what I need to know about em and if theyre worth it to own or not.
Also is 6.5k euro at 200k km too much for them?

I'm looking for a cheap but somewhat decent looking sedan.

After my old car rusted down, I'm looking for something reliable, not too rust sensitive, newer than 2000 and if possible lightweight/low fuel eff.

I've heard good things about jap car (reliable, easy to fix), so I'm looking at Toyota, Honda and Mazda's.

Anything I should look out for or avoid with these brands?
