Hey cool I'm from buffalo thanks for passing thru m8
If I woke up at a bus stop in Buffalo I would kill myself
>>17676887
Buffalo's not that bad. I got some wings and saw the waterfall. I was a little baffled when the guy told me they only got Uber like a month ago.
Just dented the back of my car
Is this expensive to fix?
>>17676597
It looks like a pretty worthless shitbox. why bother fixing it so long as nothing major is damaged?
>>17676597
To take out the bump? probably not.
Paint correction? Absolutely. You'd probably be looking at $1000 job from any body shop.
whack it from the inside and get some touch up paint faggot
hi senpai i was just leaving subway in my lowered 2012 civic and accidently scraped on the driveway a bit harder than a normal scrape. right after my VSS, ABS, and power steering warning lights came on.
everything looks fine on first inspection, but does anyone know what might've happened and how to clear the lights? ive heard those warning can come on pretty easily
driving still feels 100% the same despite the warnings
>>17676567
Car's totaled get rid of it.
>>17676567
Sorry to hear that OP. I wish factories would set a standard ride height to avoid this problem.
>lowered
>HIDs in reflector housing
Kys op
So I'm going to obtain a Ford Tempo AWD.
It's just kinda there, so I might as well dick with it instead of scrapping it.
It sounds like it has a 50/50 center differential, So I plan on stripping it, and driving like a sicc cunt on dirt roads.
Has anyone here even heard of these cars?
Yep, they have an INCREDIBLY weak AWD system, in fact it was common to convert them into FWD because you couldn't get any parts for them 20 years ago, let alone now.
And 50/50? more like 90/10
tempotopaz.com used to have some decent info on them (and everything tempo/topaz related), but it hasn't existed in nearly a decade.
>t. has owned/raced/demo'd too many of these cars, never an AWD or Diesel one though.
>>17676935
It sounded like 50/50 because I found posts where they claimed it was harder to steer in AWD.
I kinda planned on building it anyway, but if parts like the trans or differential start breaking, that's almost of no use to me
>>17676446
They made an AWD tempo? Learn something new everyday.
NISSAN'S (fake) 7:08 GTR NISMO LAP TIME BTFO BY VIPER
AHAHAHAHAHA AMERICA WINS AGAIN
3RD NUKE HAS BEEN DROPPED
>>17676293
I never got the big deal about the ring times. Who cares how fast the car goes around the ring? how many times does the average person drive on the ring?
>>17676293
>new car faster than old car
What else are you going to tell me? That new computers are faster than old ones?
Grats dodge, finally managed to beat a decade old nissan with a non volume production car, heck, it's not even production anymore!
Still slower than the NISMO gt3 by the way
Lmao
This holds the Nurburgring lap time record at 0:01 seconds. You literally can do nothing to beat this absolute god of a vehicle.
>>17676183
Nobody. NIO cucks will try to defend their million dollar "car" which pales in comparison to a true example of automobile genius.
>>17676183
sauce
>his car doesn't use quantum tunneling and brane cosmological exploits to complete laps of the ring before it even springs into existence
So I got a car with these hideous pillar covers and at this point I've tried everything to take them off except heat. What would be a good oven temp to soften the glue but not ruin the pillar itself?
>>17676095
Just use a heat gun full blast, stop and check every few seconds how its coming along. Theres almost no way you could ruin the pillar although i warn against it OP because it'll probably look like shit under that tape
>>17676095
Did you try a heat gun or a blow dryer?
>>17676106
I plan on repainting them so what's under doesn't bother me but I don't have a heat gun
>>17676107
Tried the blow dryer had pretty bad results I even hosed it down with Goo gone and adhesive removal spray, they just don't want to come off.
Fun fact: the throttle cable off an 4th gen Camaro connects up to, and is the perfect length for, the FC3S gas pedal.
>>17675968
>the throttle cable off an 4th gen Camaro
What engine?
>LT1 ?
>LT4 ?
>LS1 ?
>L32 ?
>L36 ?
Nice info though.
LS1. This is off an 01 Z28, so has the LS6 intake.
Compared to how it was putting in a 5.0, this cable is a piece of cake.
>>17676035
The camaro I pulled it from had a rotary swap.
Looking into getting a new car. The is200/300 looks promising. Anyone had one of them, they worth it? No plans on any mods just looking for a dd.

>>17675328
What are you even >implying?
>>17675334
OP's pic related.
Just bought a 2004 Corolla CE for $700 syrup bucks. 5 speed which I didn't know about beforehand (gf arranged the buy, I drove home) Anything I should know about these? 5th gear is gutless, but 1st 2nd and 3rd are fun to row through, this being my first 5 speed. I literally learned in 5 minutes in this car. Very happy so far!
Decent shape, only real rust is around the door handles. Needs rear brakes done for inspection and a horn
>>17675241
Keep up with basic maintainance like oil, belts, alignments, and such, and get weekly carwashes in winter and it will do 200kmiles without issue.
>>17675281
>only real rust is around the door handles.
haha being this naive, but being under $1000 its fine.
New brunswick?
remember

Fuck Cyclists, and what kind of shithole do you live in to where you have to park on side of the street anyways?
Tell us your stories /o/
I drove every night when i turned 13.
I didn't really know what i was doing, but my father said that as long as the water didn't spill, i would be good.

What does /o/ think is the best auto service location? since we all know you don't service your own cars
I used to go to a private shop, he was great. He's retiring in a few weeks, so I'll be doing 90% of my stuff myself now.
Oil changes aren't very hard, just time consuming because of my vehicle. But it's easy to work on, so I'm not worried about bigger stuff like transmission services.
For anything really technical/difficult that I can't do myself, I'll take it to a Toyota dealership.
Certainly not any of the "quick lube" places, holy shit. You'll come out with more problems than when you went in.
