Everything about a car that is relevant and objective can be learned by the published figures and your own personal and hopefully extensive experience. You should be able to know how different a 200hp motor in a 3000lb car feels as opposed to a 400hp motor in a 3800lb car.

The rest of it, just how stiff a suspension is, just how much road noise there is, etcetera, are all subjective. If you don't drive it for yourself you are going off of some jack weeds opinion with his own bias and subjective history of experiences that have and should have no bearing on your opinion.

The rest of it, how reliable a brand is, how easy or expensive the maintenance is, the more intangible aspects are universally objective. You may think a BMW is premium luxury and reliable, others may think it is down market and wonky. There is nothing a guy in a video can tell me that I dont know about BMWs in general, and if I want to know exactly how a particular car feels I can go and drive it.

Video reviews are pathetic instruments of self promotion delivering abysmal levels of useful information.
