Hey /O, is there really that much noticeable cornering/handling difference between >picrelated and any other average sedan?
>>17768266
Yes, weight matters
>>17768266
an average sedan that's longer, softer, taller, heavier, weaker, automatic and fwd?
>>17768277
can simple suspension modifications take this cars cornering ability to a god tier?

How do you deal with the loss of driving licence /o/ ?
If you had the experience care to share?
>>17768090
I drove anyway, and got away with it because I had an unremarkable car and Am white.
>>17768090
I myself liked to speed. Now I think it's ogre as I hit 130km/h on 70km/h on these fucks. Which is rip btw in my country. Awaiting letter now.
>>17768090
Still drove anyways, But alot more careful. Eventually got tired of the anxiety of seeing cops, so I worked my ass off to get my license back.
Never again...

Just how good are the new 5.0 Mustangs?
I'm a year into my first career job, saving tons of money still living at home and I'd like to have a car that I'm not afraid to take to the track that will be fun to drive and fairly reliable if I maintain it.
I see 2011-2014 especially 11-12 mustang gt's now going for 15-18k with 50-70k miles. I was originally thinking a new camaro SS but they are holding more value yet don't look to be as good bang for buck for making power and after test driving one I hated the interior/limited visibility. + I'd be paying closer to 20k for a similar one.
What does /o/ think of the coyotes? I test drove a 2011 auto car and really liked it. Dealer wanted 22k so not interested in that one just wanted to see how I liked driving it.
Any common things to watch for on them?
They're good.
They're shit.
>>17767918
Besides the styling of front and rear am I losing much by going with a 2011-2012?
There's a 2012 on craigslist for $15,800 with 58k miles on it. Super clean and bone stock except for a catback. Thinking pretty heavy on it
Or just what's cool, trendy with a certain crowd, lifestyle, or culture that you want to be affiliated with?
I've realized my friends have zero independent thought on things, they have to go with whatever is hot shit at the moment, kind of thing.
I feel like a lot of /o/ is like this.
>>17767901
Me? Well I've always adored bimmers since I was a kid, the older ones and e60's, e63's are my favorites. I still like and appreciate other cars though, I get that everyone has different tastes and opinions.
A lot of people in real life fit your description though, buying cars they know nothing about just to fit into a subculture or hopefully alter people's perception of them.
Both, I like small flatdeck utes with ladder racks, toolboxes, nice tires, bull bars and snorkels. But I also like cheap parts so I go with whats popular.

I'm looking to buy a convertible sometime this fall, as people are preparing for winter. I am trying to decide between a 2000 boxter, a 20003 slk 320, or a 2006 350z. Any input?
Convertible is to feminine. Get a c4 or C5 with a Targa top
>convertible
Enjoy increased weight and decreased chassis rigidity, alongside looking like a complete fag with a butchered car.

How do you fuck up the word "too"?
Toyota is now rumored to be offering a manual option
Also earlier rumors about a BMW sourced straight six have been dismissed, and the new rumor is that it will be powered by a turbo V6, possibly 2GR-GTE?

What does /o/ think about Honda Accord? Tell me why I shouldn't buy a new six speed.
Because the 6 speed auto is great in the V6 models. These are sleepers for sure. Coupes are sexy as hell. Sedans are ugly as fuck, but they are one of the best made cars today. Compare a $34k accord to a $34k CLA 250, and tell me what drives better.

The dash is ugly as fuck though.

Hey /o/, my Fiesta's steering creaks when turning at low speed, i was hoping to resolve this by spraying some silicone lubricant on the joints and bearings of the front suspension, so when my father went to buy 2 stroke oil for his chainsaw i asked him to buy some silicone spray. He came back with this, do you think it's any good? it says it's for rubber parts and door hinges, and the only composition information is (>= 30% aliphatic hydrocarbons). This looks like WD-40 with just a tiny bit of silicone added, should i buy a decent one or try with this? Thanks
> My Fiesta's steering creaks when turning at low speed
>I plan to magically solve this by spraying a bit of silicone grease on it
Find out whats causing it to creek first, a bit of spray grease isn't going to do anything here
Silicon spray is meh. Go to your local auto or hardware store and get a can of PB Blaster.
>>17767636
Well, other people solved this problem the same way, besides Ford's official solution for this was to diasassemble the suspension and grease all joints and bearings with silicone grease, but i don't have the time to do that.
Convince me not to do it
